What clients say about Matrice Motors in Brandywine (MD)
I purchased a vehicle from Matrice Motors (SOSOUMAF LLC) on November 28, 2025. As of today, more than 75 days later, they have still not submitted my title and registration to the Maryland MVA. I personally contacted the MVA and confirmed that no application has been submitted.
This is unacceptable and a violation of dealer responsibilities. My temporary tag is close to expiring, and their failure to process the paperwork has put me at risk of being unable to legally operate my vehicle.
I trusted this dealership to complete the required legal process, but they have failed to do so. I am now forced to file formal complaints with the Maryland MVA and pursue legal action.
I strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle here to make sure all paperwork is processed properly and on time.
Inquired about 2017 Camry listed on FB because the price was great i was wondering why it was so low and they stated the vehicle was rebuilt title which is ok i bought one before never had an issue i see a lot of people complaining about the rebuilt title no one force you to go purchase which is why you ask questions before purchasing anything. But i am glad they told me this information and was honest BEFOREHAND. If you want a clean titled vehicle go pay more money for one its that simple
I brought a 2000 911 porsche from them and a year later I'm not able to register the car! To add insult I live in newyork and for the last 2 months the will not answer my calls.i hope they didn't sell me a stolen can and as soon as my job schedule permits I will be showing up there with the police
BE CAREFUL when purchasing from this lot. I was looking at a listing on FB Marketplace that seemed too good to be true. Said it was in excellent condition. Something seemed off, so I read their Google reviews which speak for themself.
After speaking with them through live chat, I found out that it had Rebuilt title. I asked about a car fax, and was advised that I could purchase one (I have never been asked by any other lot or dealership to pay for it, they provide it). I asked how much it would cost, and they then said they would provide it to me via text. They never sent it.
If you don't know what a rebuilt title is, it is a vehicle that had previous damage and was totaled out my the insurance company and given a salvage title. It was then purchased, fixed, and passed inspection, and given a rebuild title. It will always be a rebuilt title, which essentially cuts the value of the vehicle in half. This is completely legal, and doesn't mean that it is not a good vehicle. You just need to be diligent and do your homework.
Great experience buying my RX350 at Matrice Motors, the car is in great shape and the team was very friendly and helpful during the process. Thanks Matrice guys, I’ll certainly be back again when ready for my next ride, and will refer friends and family for sure!
Would give zero stars if I could! A complete scam! Bought a car there was told there was warranty. Bad key fob and a head gasket started overheating 3 weeks after I bought it! Called they said the warranty only covers inspection issues! Also they will not send me the title! Looking for a lawyer

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Sold me a car with crazy water damage and the airbags deployed. Been waiting 2 months to have the car fixed and it hasn’t been fixed. Don’t waste your time or money going here, they definitely finessed me….
As advertised! He sold my son and I a salvage titled car however 99% of the repairs were complete. I purchased un-inspected which was fine. Needed a couple of rear tires, 3rd. Brake light bulb and rubber brake pad. Found out an A/C line is leaking but he gave us a great deal!
Worst expereince at a dealer I ever had. Waited 2 hours even though they said they were open, lied and kept pushing back when I can see a car (which was very very dirty and reaked of smoke when I fianlly was able to see it), manipulative and ran my credit for no reason. They waited till the last momment to discuss my credit application even though I kept reaching out beforehand. They claim they couldn't accept my credit and cosigner so they just kept asking for more money so I went to a new dealer and got approved and car within hours no problem at all. stay away
Ad said no accidents or body damage to a 2021 Jetta SE. The CARFAX showed it was declared a total loss by insurance. Very deceitful and full of excuses. Wouldn’t trust them to buy from. Do your homework.
DO NOT buy your car here! Trust me, save yourself the trouble and stay clear. They are ridiculously unprofessional, and deliberately dishonest.
Most, if not all of their cars for sale are salvage titles that have been in accidents, which they fix up the cheapest way possible. That’s how they have seemingly good deals. In my case, the listing said “1 accident reported: NO DAMAGE REPORTED”, when the car was actually totaled, had to be towed, and was written off as a complete loss by the previous owner’s insurance company (per CARFAX). They did not disclose this upfront and nor did they elaborate on the details, which they must have known.
After the purchase, we were assured it would take 7-10 business days for them to get the title and overnight it to us. It ultimately took 28 business days for us to get the vehicle’s title, almost a month and a half. Similarly, we were told to expect a Tire Mobility Kit (which was missing from the vehicle) within a week of the purchase. It took 42 total days to receive it, INCOMPLETE. I had to purchase the rest of it myself.
All the while, the communication with their customers was abysmal, with countless lapses in communication, for up to TWENTY days at a time. Only repeatedly calling for multiple days yielded any results. They made up excuses and were purposefully vague instead of being honest and simply explaining things directly.
They also confirmed that everything had been properly fixed following the accident, which was a blatant lie. The airbag warning light must have been tampered with, because it was not on when we drove off the lot, revealing no issues. It turned on later, during a routine service, revealing they had failed to replace the airbag control module, which needs to be done after every accident where the airbags deploy. This was just quoted to me as costing $1,300 to get fixed.
The listed car also had dangerously bald tires, which they didn’t address, and we had to replace all four.
These are only the highlights of a myriad of things wrong with this dealership and their abysmal customer service. Exactly what you could expect from a worst case scenario used car dealership. Again, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.
I got 2017 Nissan Rogue SV and run very well. Steph is very trust one and take care of the car even if you bought it after a while. I really like this company. Professional and economical way helps.
Went to see a vehicle that was advertised on fb marketplace. Truck looked great until I found out it had a salvage title and flood damage. They should be transparent and divulge that information upfront. All those cars are flood/salvage titled. Stay away.
Devven Grigggs, the Manager, went out of his way to make our car purchase an easy and enjoyable process. The car we bought was reasonably priced and Devven took the time to go over some of the features with me in detail. I would recommend this dealer to all looking to buy a car.

They don't pick up their phone and the times and date on their website are not right. Is not like I don't like them is just I never got to meet with them even if I did want to buy the car
Alex is just an employee who doesn't appreciate a good workforce position. The dealership is great because the owner is a great guy! He's fair and honest, unfortunately he's out-of-the-country a lot.
STAY AWAY! Posted a car on Craigslist with a "clean" title, told me everything was fine. Wouldn't give me the VIN, so when I saw it in person I snapped a photo. Carfax showed it was a Flood title bought from a Salvage Auction.
The man named Alex that works there or owns the place is a liar, and manipulator. He had me believing he was an independent seller. I am from VA, and he knew this. I drove 2 hours to see a car I fell in love with, then he tells me it's a salvaged title!!!! Tells me it's so easy to get a "rebuilt title" (which it is NOT) and told me insurance wouldn't be an issue, I called my insurance company, they told me they would NOT insure it. That no company would let me put full coverage on. He lied continually to me and my friend. He is very sneaky and a liar. I would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY FROM HERE!!!!
They posted a vehicle on craigslist indicating clean title with no accidents. Called and they verified no accident or history of damage. I pulled the carfax and it was a total loss due to flood and was a rebuilt title.
Worst mistake EVER buying a car from these people. At first I thought it was just paperwork they kept messing up, but VERY soon it was the car. Windows wouldn't go up or down, sunroof didn't work, brakes went; now the complete front steering and struts. They had a 'carfax' Don't know where the heck they got that. Do NOT do business with them.. You'll have ridiculously high car payments for a piece of junk. They do not seem to be honest.... Needs negative stars. I should not have believed them
I wish I could give LESS than one star. These people a lying, thieving, manipulative con artists. The car I bought was a glorified piece of junk! In the first 2 weeks, it broke down THREE times and the staff there kept shrugging me off....absolutely no help. They're rude, unintelligible and condescending. The office space is disgusting, the lot itself it filthy and car shop is also dirty and cluttered with junk. This is BY FAR the worst "dealership" I've ever been to. DON"T GO THERE!!!!
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and the day I brought it home the car wouldn't cut back on. We thought it needed gas in the vehicle and after that it was running fine. I had the car for 4 weeks and in that time it broke down 4 times, the engine light came on, the transmission light came on, the computer on the car fried and kept sending me error messages, the brakes went out, and when I took my foot off of the gas, it kept accelerating long after. It was the scariest experience in my life. When I called them for help, they were no help. They told me that I would have to take it to another dealership to see if they can fix it. I took it to Pep Boys and found out that my fuel injectors were loose and I had to come out of pocket to get that secured.
The last time it broke down, I tried to trade in my car for a newer vehicle from an esteemed dealer. When I took it to them they told me that my car was only worth 1,000 dollars when they sold me the car for 8,000 (12,000 with it being financed). They ripped me off! I called the Matrice Motors about this and they told me that the only way I could fix this was to file for voluntary repossession which would SLAUGHTER my credit...
My best advice is to NEVER go here! Avoid the problems before you get stuck in a 42 month contract like me.
