Brought my 2016 GTI in to install a stage 3 Southbend clutch kit after my stock clutch gave out. Ben was very helpful and knowledgeable. Clutch kit was on backorder and he kept me updated all the way, got overnight shipping and once it arrived I had my car back the next day. Overall great experience.

I bought a 2019 VW Jetta that ended up having a recurring clutch issue. After seeing great reviews, I brought it to Deutschwurx. From the first call, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. They diagnosed a worn‑out clutch, inspected the transmission, and completed the repairs with clear communication and an itemized estimate. When the clutch pedal issue returned, they continued troubleshooting and ultimately replaced the slave cylinder, master cylinder, and related lines. They kept the car long enough to test it properly and make sure everything was truly fixed. It’s been almost five months since the final repair, and the car now drives like new. I’m very impressed with their professionalism, honesty, and dedication. Their pricing felt fair, and the quality of their work has allowed me to fully enjoy my car again. I took my 2019 golf R in to install my new stage 2 clutch and 4 inch downpipe. Customer service was great with Ben and the team when updating me about my car. They got it done fast. Car is running great and looking forward to getting more work done by the team.

I took my 2015 Audi A4 to Deutschwurx after it started running rough and threw a check engine light for a camshaft code. They diagnosed it quickly, fixed the issue, and got the car back to me with a fast turnaround and very reasonable pricing. The car ran great afterward. About six months later, the car started running rough again, and this time it turned out to be the turbo — a pretty notorious problem for this model. Deutschwurx replaced it, and once again the car drove perfectly. A few weeks later I had a related code and EPC light pop up, and they brought me back in and fixed it for free since it likely was connected to the recent turbo replacement. That’s the kind of integrity that’s hard to find. They genuinely stand by their work, know these European cars inside and out, and charge fair prices for quality service. I’m really glad I found a shop I can trust with my Audi. Highly recommend.

Communication is key for me when dealing with car maintenance and repair. The folks at Deutschwurx excel at this as well as the services they provide. They explain their findings, what it might take to fix it and how long it might take. Once done they explain what they did and provide excellent after repair guarantees. They even call you a couple of times post repair to check on the status of your vehicle post repair and verify satisfication. Most repair shops dealerships inclusive just want you in and out with no thorough communication. You go in blind and leave blind. Their price point was also very decent!!

This shop has done tremendous, honest and efficient work. I needed a long list of maintenance done on my diesel Jetta. Not only did they go above and beyond on each maintenance items, but also discovered and diagnosed unknown issues to jump the gun and start on preventative maintenance. They took the time to show me what the issues were, so I knew exactly what was wrong and what needed to get fixed. Great group of techs and the front desk was helpful and extremely knowledgeable.

I knew that I was in the right place when I pulled up and the parking lot was full of VW's (new, old, air cooled, custom) and Audi's. Liqui Moly signs everywhere. Real German parts. Came in for my 2012 Turbo Beetle - walnut blast decarb, coolant, oil, and belt. Great work at great prices. Ben was awesome at getting me in and answering my questions. Wished I had found you guys years ago . . .

I had my car (2012 GTI) in for a timing chain job this week. I'll start by saying I never take my cars to shops, but timing is something I don't trust myself to fix. Even though my car is far from perfect, the deutschwurx team took excellent care of me, and even completed the job a day ahead of schedule. It was supposed to be done by Wednesday and I received a call on Tuesday morning saying my car was already done. The car had a couple engine codes after the job but that was also taken care of immediately, no questions asked. I ran into an issue on my way home and the shop was helpful over the phone in figuring the issue out, and even offered me a discount on a future job because of their small mistake. Although I don't like having other people work on my cars, I can't say enough good things about how everything was handled, and I'll probably be back for something else further down the line. It is clear that professionalism and perfection is very important to this shop, and there's no question why they have the great reputation they do.

Few years ago they charged me $500 for an ECU that didn’t work and refused to give me a refund. This happened before I even left the shop. 2009 Volkswagen GTI .

I’ve known Scott for over a decade and his work, whether it be auto or motorcycle service/repair is superb. Recently, he powder coated a vintage motorcycle frame for me. I was stunned at how good it turned out - it far exceeded the factory from back in the day. He’s been an outstanding resource in helping me to complete other bike restoration and repairs as well. I cannot thank him enough for all has done to help me with my projects. Keep up the great work, Scott!

Deutschwurx knows these types of imports very well and is knowledgeable when it comes to what works and what doesn't work when it comes to repairs and tunes. They are very fair when it comes to labor costs. Scott, (the owner) is respected highly in local car club worlds and never is a stranger when it comes to supporting a good cause. I couldn't think of a better place to take any of my VW's if I can't figure it out on my own.

Service Excellent! I can't brag enough about how professional, helpful, honest and full of integrity that Ben and the shop exude. I found them recommended on a VW forum and I was not disappointed! Actually I'm disappointed that I didn't find them sooner! Prices were better than the dealership with superior service. The work was completed on time and actually earlier than estimated. Perfect amount of status and communication updates, they also have a text option that is handy to keep you updated. Bonus is it's a mom/pop shop! Location There is no space to sit around and wait while the work is performed. Plan accordingly. I will be bringing my car to them from now on. Highly recommend.

Scott and his team are amazing!!! I have never worked with them before and they still got me in for an appointment right away. I bought new wheels for my car and was mad stoked to get them on my car. I had the wheels mounted on tires and installed on my car. Everyone that I spoke to there was very friendly and super helpful. I dropped my car off and few hours later was able to pick it up. Got to speak to Scott when I picked up and he explained everything that was done and made sure I was satisfied. My car looks dope and I couldn’t be happier! Glad I got to work with them! I have met these guys on more than one occasion at car community events at their booth. They were very personable and knowledgeable. I planned to go there for an oil change on my recent purchase of a VW Beetle when time to, but time came sooner when my poor car left me stranded at work with a dead battery. The team was able to get to get me in the same day I called. My battery was tested to confirm the issue and quickly replaced. They also squeezed in my oil change too! Edit as of 08/02/23: 2yrs later and I continue to receive exceptional service!!! I had 2 damaged tires on the way home from work yesterday and was back up and running in less than 24hrs. Once again.......Scott was even kind enough to follow-up a few days later to see how my car was running...true customer service at its finest!!!

Scott and his team are amazing. I have vw bug show car that was In need of some major repairs they knocked it out quickly and communicated with me along the way. I drove almost 3 hours from New Jersey just so it could be done by them. I'll definitely be back. Also has one of the coolest waiting areas I've ever seen. They are Vw , Audi and Porsche specialist 🤙🏾

10/10 job and experience. Brought my GTI here to have BC Racing coilovers installed and was able to get the work done quickly after inquiring. Scott and Drew were very knowledgeable and I felt that I could really trust them with my car. I am so pleased with the results, the Deutschwurx team did not disappoint. I decided to change my caliper cover over to a green color from red. They did an awesome job making sure I was happy with the color in full before installing. They turned out amazing! It was a quick turn around and the color was perfection!

This place is a hidden gem. I have a Volkswagen Beetle and it was leaking oil pretty bad. There aren’t many European auto shops around and either their prices are ridiculous or it is hard to get your car serviced quickly. I heard about Deutschwurx and they told me the issue and fixed it the same day. They were professional, informative, and took great care of my car. Their prices were reasonable for the work done and how quickly my car was fixed. I have had a slow oil leak for a couple months and it got worse quickly. It has been a couple days since they fixed the issue and I have not had any oil leaking. I would highly recommend anyone with a European car or any car for that matter to come to this shop. They were knowledgeable and I will definitely be taking my vehicles here in the future. Lastly, they also sprayed down the engine and undercarriage from my oil leak so it was nice to have my car come back to me better and cleaner than it was before!

Scott and his team are great! The work that was done was spot on. I’ve had no rattles or vibration and the car is running better than stock! The throttle response is smoother thanks to the air filter that was installed. The springs give it a stiffer ride but with a stock feel, and the spacers give the wheels a flush look! This odd the way it should come from the factory!! I’ll be bringing more work to them in the future!!

Thank you to Scott and his team over at Deutschwurx! They installed my tune and lowered my car on coils and it turned out perfect. I was taking my car to another shop but now this is the only shop that will touch my S4 going forward. The costumer service from Scott, the mechanics and front desk was simply amazing! 100% recommend!

Finally! This is what an honest certified professional with 30 years of experience looks like. Maryland has enough shady auto shops. This isn't one of them. When you see Audi R8s and Porsches in the shop, there's a reason; Scott is actually certified with the knowledge do dealership level work, at less cost, plus custom installs on any vehicle.
