Casselmans market is my favorite Grocery Store. I go there whenever I need to shop as long as it’s not Sunday cause they’re not open on Sundays. And they don’t stay open very late I believe 8 PM maybe 9 PM so I try to always do my shopping between Monday through Friday by 6 PM because I don’t like going anywhere else I love going there. They’re very friendly. When you walk in the door, they say hello how are you? There’s always somebody there that greet you. They have great meats, great produce, and excellent prices. Two bonuses are you don’t pay taxes on any food items and they have an Amazon store that sells very discounted Amazon products. Mondays everything in the bins are $3, Tuesdays everything in the bins are $1 , I think Wednesdays is $.50, you get the picture. they just recently remodeled and upgraded so they don’t only have bins now they have other stuff out on the floor that is majorly discounted. They have weed eaters, air mattresses, air fryers, grills, patio furniture, indoor furniture, baby items, baby furniture, I mean you name it, they probably have it. I believe they get new items weekly. So it’s forever changing especially the items in the bins. I’ve gotten some really good items from there like skincare and makeup that’s trending on TikTok right now, I got for $1-$3. So anyways enough about that as you could see I love Casselmans Market and I love the Grantsville shopping center in General. It’s a great little place. Has everything you need there’s even a Walgreens if you need your prescriptions and they even have a ATM outside if you need to grab some money. They have a hardware store they have Napa and they have a little restaurant you can go in or carry out and I believe they deliver. It’s called big dog deli. They’re also good have awesome food. And they have a smoke shop. So like I said everything you need in that little center. It’s literally five minutes from my house, so I definitely count myself as one of the lucky ones. Lol
I was really impressed with this market! It was refreshing to see unique products that you can’t get at traditional stores. There were premade salads with fresh ingredients that were so beautiful and hard to resist.. I asked the deli dept to slice my tomatoes as I was traveling ? so I could make tomato sandwiches that day and they gladly accommodated my request and put them in a great resealable container. With my loaf of bread, a small container of Dukes mayo, and these awesome sliced tomatoes I made my brother’s day with this surprise lunch of tomato sandwiches and the fixin’s - great store! Great service. Friendly folks. I highly recommend a visit.
Hands down The Casselman Market is the best market our plaza has ever had. Excellent layout with spacious isles that stocked full of popular brands. Along with their Food Club & Craven brand, which put other to shame! Not only flavor, quality, quantity but also price wise. Become a member to receive shocking deals while also gaining reward points. What truly makes The Casselman Market above others are the employees' helpful, friendly, and just nice people.
I wish this store was closier to Somerset. I enjoy stopping every time I'm close by. The people who work there are great and always take time to answer any questions you might have. Their meat selection and freshness are beyond great. My personal thanks to the staff for maintaining a great supermarket.
It's an OK spot to pick up a few things that you have forgotten during your regular grocery shopping trip. Like most every other store prices are high.
First time here since moving away. Prices are comparable with places where I live in WV. Loved that the isles are wide and not all filled with displays or things needing put on the shelves.
This is a great local market! The meats (especially the beef) are fantastic and the deli is great. The employees in the store are super friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to make your shopping experience nice. They even have a great selection of Amish canned items, spices and noodles. The store is very clean, well lit and well stocked! I enjoy shopping there weekly.
Love the bulk foods aisle with Amish foods. The deli was exceptional. I bought over $100.00 worth of foods. I joke that I drove three hours to go grocery shopping.
This is a great store. Nice selection of products, clean, and great to go items especially the fried chicken and some of their pasta salads in back. Love shopping here.
I really love going to Casselman Market. Even though its a small store, they have such an amazing array of products available. We have gotten steaks from them a few times and they are absolutely amazing. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. Thanks.
I shop here nearly every day since I live only two miles away! They have a great variety of groceries and drinks! Their meats are the best around! The hot case has great food for when I don’t feel like cooking that day!! The best part about the store is the friendly staff!!
I love shopping here. It has better rates than some other grocery stores that are near. Has fresher produce. Many specialty flours, wheat and can jar goods. Want hot lunch or take home diner,,, Good baked and fried chicken and Salisbury steak, stuff pepers, slice pizza, Mac and cheese. Just a nice FRIENDLY grocery store. And Manny more groceries items
Prices are good. Food is fresh. The bulk bakery aisle has a great variety.of flours. The hot bar is a bargin with a variety of foods. Staff is friendly and helpful.This has become my go to store
It's nice to have a market close to home... As someone else mentioned, the produce is the only thing I would not buy from Casselmans. It was my second trip and second experience where the produce was bad. My most recent trip, this past Saturday, I purchased mushrooms and boxed spring mix (salad). Both were already soggy when I got home and that when I noticed their expiration dates had passed! I immediately had to throw them out. Otherwise a nice market once you learn what you should and should not purchase.
It's nice to have a place to shop in grantsville. They are pricey but if you need something the cost is worth the convenience instead of having to go to Oakland.
At least we have a grocery again! Aisle markings are brown on tan and almost invisible. Vastly better than the old store. Interesting bulk food aisles.
Fantastic locally-owned grocery store - a much needed addition to Grantsville.
They have lots of familiar brands you find in most grocery stores, as well as some locally made products like jams and honey and other unique items.
There is a nice selection of all the standard grocery store items as well as some bulk items. They have a great deli and hotbar with some fantastic looking rotisserie chicken.
The atmosphere is bright and has lots of nice country-style decorations. The staff is friendly too. They have a smaller selection of the speciality/international items than some of the bigger chains, but that's understandable given it's size. 100% recommend
