Went above and beyond in the middle of the night to help with our damaged tire. We were stranded without any help from our insurance or car dealership roadside assistance. Great service and very helpful. Highly recommend.

We hit a deer and were stranded on the side of the freeway. Wendell was punctual and very knowledgeable. He helped us by ensuring we made it to our next location. He was very kind. Because of Wendell, we will choose Black Rock Towing every time!

BEST TOWING SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!! My stupid car broke an alternator bolt that caused my belt to get loose. I called Wendell (on thanksgiving!!) and he came right away!!! Had everything taken care of and was super affordable. Thank you so so much!!!!!!!!!

Wendell is a saint. He operates a very clean truck, made sure that my wife daughter, and infant were in a safe location, and even cheered us up with a couple good stories after he picked us up. He never came off as pushy or irritated, even though he was picking us up in the middle of the night. His cab had carseat anchors, which is a sight for sore eyes of any parent in my situation. I am AAA member. Called them for a tow. Waited 3 hours. Finally told me they couldn’t help me. Find your own tow. Called Black Dog Towing. Needed to get electric vehicle charged. Nearest charging station was out of state, which AAA tow companies would not do. No problem for Black Dog Towing. After waiting 3 hours for AAA, he arrived in about half hour with brand new rollback truck. Quickly loaded vehicle and drove ~27 miles to charging location. Got car charged and drove back to hotel where staying to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Happy ending to dismal AAA experience!

Consider Black Dog your go to towing company if you’re anywhere near Garrett County. My Mazda 3 rides a little low and I’ve always wondered how I’d get towed if I ever needed it. Wendell showed up with multiple 2x lumber for use as ramps to get the Mazda on to his flatbed. He was very concerned about not scraping my skirts. Once on the road, he let me know he had called ahead to the shop to which we were heading to confirm they were open and expecting us. Due to a multiple day stay in the shop, I decided not to leave the car. Wendell made time to tow my car 2+ hours to a shop near my home. A true professional.

What a wonderful company to work with! We were broke down by the side of highway around 2am and with no help from AAA we called black dog towing. The guy who came and helped us was very helpful and got there super quick even though he was a town over. When he got there he was very patient and even towed our vehicle a bit further than what his initial distance was. We had a great experience with Black Dog Towing!

My car broke down out of state and about 61 miles from home. When the other companies i called said it was too far for them to tow me home, Black Dog Towing said "No problem, i gotcha and will tow ya home" He showed up quickly (within 20mins) was very careful with my car loading, unloading it, and while in route to my home, very professional guy, the price of the tow was not outrageous either. I've paid almost what black dog charged me from other tow companies local to my home when needing a >12mile tow home. I 100% fully recommend Black Dog Towing for all of your recovery & towing needs! Great guy to hire when having car troubles! I will save this man's number in my phone for if i ever need help in his area again.

We were very pleased with the service provided by Black Dog Towing & Recovery. We had waited over an hour for our roadside assistance to send a tow truck, only for them to finally respond that they were unable to fill the request and that we would need to call for assistance ourselves. After calling Black Dog Towing & Recovery, we were picked up very quickly without hesitation. He drove us over 100 miles to our destination. When we hit a 30 min traffic delay due to nightly road work, he was very gracious to pull over and allow our toddler to pee. I'm thankful for his willingness to drive us so far and accommodate our personal family needs. I highly recommend Wendell for your vehicle towing needs.

Wendell {Owner + Operator @ Black Dog Towing and Recovery} was truly INCREDIBLE! My son was traveling thru the Allegheny Mountains {from Virginia to Indiana} when his front right tire came off while driving on I68. I called Black Dog Towing and Recovery and explained the situation to Wendell and how I was on my way but still 3 hours away. Wendell gave me the reassurance I needed, as a worried momma bear, that he could pick up my son and his vehicle within half an hour and that I could meet them at his shop. Wendell assessed the problem, found the parts, and completed the repairs in less than 24 hours! My son was able to safely resume his trip to Indiana... just in time to start his Senior Year of high school! There are few people in this world that offer genuine humanity, honest service, and fair market pricing... Wendell @ Black Dog Towing and Recovery is one of those people!

I broke down on my motorcycle early Sunday morning. Called 3 places either no answer or unavailable to take the job. Called Wendell, he was available and there within 20 minutes. We loaded the bike to go to the dealer only to find out they had no parts. I was 4 hours from home and screwed. Wendell politely hauled my bike and stored it in his shop till I could make arrangements . I’d give this man and his company 100 stars if I could. Prompt, courteous, safe, very fair rates for towing and willing to go out of his way.

I called Black Dog towing and a friendly man answered the phone. I told him I was in a bad way. I purchased a car and I am on side of the highway and I need to get back to Virginia. I was three hours away from home. He got to my vehicle relatively quick and towed me all the home. He was super friendly and empathetic to my situation. I feel he did me a real solid favor and made sure I was satisfied before his departure. Highly recommended.

My engine & battery gave up on me in the middle of the highway and there he came to the rescue. Not only did he recommended a place to get my car checked out but he also helped me get to a hotel nearby so I could stay the night while my car got looked at. I honestly don't know what I would've done without him. He changed my battery and put oil in my car as well. Who does that? Nowadays you don't really see that many people go that far!!!
