If you need a transmission replace I would RUN from this shop. These pictures were taken 2 days after they R&R a transmission and rear main seal. We are from out of town 2,000 miles away and there response to fix this issue is “bring it back and we will fix it” why would I bring it all the way back to MD when they couldn’t do it right the first time and charged 25 hrs to drop a trans!! My shop in Florida just fixed there issues for 14 hours AND DID IT CORRECT! BE VERY CAREFUL USING THIS SHOP.

Dave and the guys at Grantsville T&T helped us out of mess after 5 on Labor day. Luckily, someone at the gas station where we were dead in the water told me to call even though we don't drive a rig. He picked up on the first ring, had a wrecker to pick up our car within an hour, helped us find a hotel and a shop and even a rental car that we ultimately didn't need. We were back on the road the next day after breaking a coolant line. Can't say enough about this shop and the great people working there!

My driver did not have any lights to his trailer. Grantsville Truck and Trailer took us in right away and got us back on the road in just a few minutes. Hands down this was the best experience we have received over the road. We will definitely use them again if needed when we ae in the area. The people were very professional and courteous. My vehicle was involved in a deer collision. The tow truck operator was excellent, and extremely quick at arriving and recovering my van from the highway. Communication was excellent during the days after and the employees were extremely helpful with assisting me at receiving my belongings. I couldn't say enough about how thankful of their help.

Had a difficult towing scenario with my hazmat tanker. Jay was extremely helpful and got me taken care of. Tow drivers were professional and got me where I needed to go. Called numerous other companies in the area and no one would help. Thank You.

Unprofessional, instead of replacing air lines they did temp fix and after 70 miles it broke again, I paid $573 for nothing

Was in, or part of an accident on the 12th of May on why 68 just thirty miles from Cumberland MD, West bound. They came with professionalism towed my semi to safty. Thank you GTT!

They just had too many other projects that they were involved in to help me with my window problem They were very nice, very courteous to me, and very polite Empire. Good customer service. Just a wonderful bunch of guys out in the middle of nowhere in the mountains great place to go to if you have some problems with your truck.

Driver shut down truck at fuel island in Gear on Saturady, the office called Grantsville to go get it aired up and reset so that it can start. Roadservice arrived and said that the transmission was not communicating with the ECM and that it needs to be towed to the dealer. $400 spent for Roadservice without any good outcome. The dealer was not open on the weekend and they were to tow it this morning. With the truck being off and driver leaving it alone and not trying it for over 24 hours the computer ended up resetting and going into Neutral. Started up as the tow truck arrived and still they insisted on getting paid for a call out although their service guy insisted on truck being towed on Saturday.

These guys are the best. Truly appreciate how helpful they were when our tractor broke down out of state. Right down to offering a ride to the local hotel cause it couldn’t be fixed till the next day.

We had a flat trailer tire overnight near Grantsville, MD. I call this guys and they open the shop for us overnight. Great and fast service and great price. You guys save us from getting late for delivery. Thank you so much for your great help. Highly recommend this shop.

Excellent people = excellent service. Polite, sympathetic, mom&pop’s feel with 5 star service. I was broke down at a gas station for 5 hours before contacting them (to scope services due to insurance slow service) waiting a few more hours on another towing service, make a reservation with them, and they were there in 20 minutes. Pat and everyone else I spoke to were kind, connected, and I’m pretty sure they gave me a huge discount. They did extra work by moving my trailer. Above and beyond service and people.

Blew a tire 3 miles away from the shop and limped my way over there. The guy who helped me at the shop was super friendly and barely charged me anything. Even helped me with unrelated problems which was awesome. The person on the phone was helpful too. The big problem I had was that it took the one tech guy to come and help me 2.5 hours to get back to the shop. I didn’t really have another choice since I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, but I think the 2 guys working there understood I waited a while and cut me a break. I’ll definitely be back next time as long as it’s a little snappier. Thanks for the help!

I had to use this company when my truck broke down, the owner allowed the mechanics to help me by giving me a ride to the Hotel and even sent a tow truck for me. Everyone was so pleasant and great customer service… Thank You again‼️

I bought a used C-15 of them in December of ‘21. I paid them to put it in paid $8,000 for it and another 4 to install it. They had issues getting the engine to run so they ethered it. I got the truck back and within 700 miles it broke the rings on #6 cylinder. Then said they would make it right and 6 months later nothing was done at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL.

Big thank you to this tow company that met us in our motorhome on I-68 on a Sat eve; had to repair the air brake lines before the coach could be towed 100 miles to Hagerstown, the nearest Freightliner shop. Men were super knowledgeable and courteous, despite a very long night. They left us at 12:40 am. Five hours after meeting up with us. Wish we could have had all repair done with them.

FAN CLUTCH RADIATOR & fan clutch shroud supposedly fix by Grantsville Truck & Trailer Dave said he would stand behind his work prior to fixing ! Paid them $3400 ! Well only 4 days later the same issue now I'm stuck with a $4,034.27 bill and they're denying no wrong doing . Certified shop found poor craftsmanship. , faulty parts they used. Besides the staff there Dave is unprofessional, he denied any wrong doing whatsoever . I will see them in court. Save your self sometime , a local recommended me to them when I was stranded. Don't use them ! If I could give them 0 stars I would

This is a terrific shop. I bent a steel trailer wheel when I clipped a curb at full weight at a nearby truck stop. These guys got me back on the road in no time at all. No small dose of American pride at this shop either!

The driver and service was good, but they will tell you one price and then charge you a different price on your debit or credit card. Then when you confront the owner, he lies to you and tells you that he will replace the difference between what he quoted to you and what was charged. But then will not charge the difference back to your account.

I called after hours for road service after being turned down by three other companies. One of my trucks was pouring coolant out of a rusted through coolant pipe on I-68. It was 16 degrees out and my driver was left stranded. I put the driver in touch with the mechanic. they were able to find a used coolant pipe in their shop and made a permanent repair and got the truck rolling and the heat working. The service was quick and affordable and my driver was happy to be back on the road. Can't thank these fellas enough!
