Matt charged $4750 to remove a 44 foot CNC sailboat. He cashed the check, but never claimed the boat. We are still paying to store the boat in the boat yard many months later until we find another solution.
Both ourselves and the boatyard are unable to reach Matt at this point.

Matt did a great job for me with a 25 foot command bridge cabin cruiser I needed to get out of a marina & scrap out. I needed someone who could go over to the marina with a boat and pull my boat out of the slip and tow it to a boat ramp where it could then be pulled out of the water onto a flatbed trailer and then transported to the landfill to be disposed of. Matt got back to me the same day and had the whole thing scheduled to be done within 3 days of my initial first call. I had to change the date of the pick up twice for events that had nothing to do with Matt , those were my fault. When I rescheduled the final time , once again , he got back to me within 1 day and had it all set up again within 3 days. He completed the job flawlessly from beginning to end on the day he said he would , in the time frame he specified , for the payment agreed upon and was in communication with me throughout the entire process from beginning to end . If I ever need this kind of service again , Matt would be the person I would call for sure . Kent H.
I paid Matt $500 to remove my boat. The boats condition was such that Matt could have also profited from the salvage of the trailer and a new Mercruiser outdrive. Even with that additional incentive, i received multiple delaying tactics with clear indicators this was fraudulant to begin with (insisting Venmo payment between friends/family to prevent refund through Venmo). Ill remove this review or modify if anything changes to the contrary.
Matt responded to my call right before veterans day weekend and came out the next day to see the boat that needed to be hauled from my backyard. He arranged for Karl to pick up the 23 ft boat and while Karl was unable to pick the boat up on the first day promised he made it out to my house within a couple of days. Karl called me the day he came out to give me an eta and when he arrived he completed the job with the utmost efficiency. Karl had to add air to the trailer tires (because they were flat from sitting so long). He worked diligently and hard to fix the tires, position his truck to properly hitch the boat, and safely remove the 23 footer from my property. Both Matt and Karl communicated with me in a friendly and professional manner and I can say I was completely satisfied with their service. The cost for the removal was reasonable and I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off based on prices other companies quoted me. I would undoubtedly recommend Matt and Karl to my family and friends whenever they need such a service.
Matt gave me a very affordable price to scrap my beloved and well used MacGregor 25' sailboat. He was professional, pleasant, punctual, and worked quickly, completing the job in less than 4 hrs., at 1/3rd the cost quoted by a similar business. As a widowed senior on a fixed income, I was grateful to avoid having to leave this matter for family, in the event of my passing.

I used Matt to dispose of an old 30 foot sailboat. I really appreciated how flexible he was on timing and working with me to get the boat out of the water and turned over to him. He also provided pictures of the boat being destroyed. Before calling him, it felt like I was low on options. Then one quick call and I had an affordable path to move on from that old boat.
He's great at taking your money and didn't complete the job ! My SIL used him, he took her $400 dollars and never came back to get the junk.
