Really great experience here. Very friendly and professional staff. I went there for an emissions test. Although there was a misunderstanding of the service I needed. They took full accountability for the miscommunication and provided a free inspection. They also have a free Lyft service for you to wait at a nearby location.

Just don’t even bother coming to this place. Customer service is horrible. They know they mess up and don’t offer any compensation for it. Took my car to get serviced 10/7/25 10am and informed them I needed the vehicle back by the time they closed. 4pm i called for an update told I would be given a call back and never heard anything back. I went to the shop to pick up my vehicle just to find out they were just beginning the “deeper dive diagnosis” and I needed to leave my car there overnight. When I brought it to the front receptionist attention the only answer she had for me was “ Yeah sorry we did drop the ball this time”. Said they could give me a loaner car yet they had no loaner cars on hand to offer. Called back the next day stating the engine was the issue and it would be $10,000. They are very pushy/money hungry and when you decline to have services there they will NOT give you paperwork stating what’s wrong with your vehicle unless you ask for it and even then they drag their feet with doing giving it to you , so all you have to show is an invoice for the amount you paid. Moral of the story .. take your vehicles elsewhere , it’s not worth the money or headache.

Professionalism — 5 Stars: ALL reps who answered the phone lines were courtesy and thanked me each time I called for information (which was several times). Communication — 5 Stars: They called me same day to give me an update on their diagnostics report and findings. There was a small hiccup when the advisor informed me additional diagnostics would be needed which would have a fee attached. I assumed he knew I was going through a warranty (which he did not know at the time) so I was confused about paying additional fees. The manager called me soon after to explain the protocol when utilizing warranties and that it was a miscommunication. The service advisor connected with me again and also explained the mix up and the next steps to begin repairs. Regardless I’m appreciative of the extra steps they both took to make sure we are all on the same page to move forward. Once repairs were started they continued to provide updates via text/phone call. They sent me PDF files via text to review and then called soon after to review the reports with me. They followed the same procedure for reviewing my estimate and invoice. I was even able to sign and authorize the estimate electronically. Which is convenient for my busy schedule. Turn Around Time for Repairs — 5 Stars: Though my vehicles issue may have been minor and quick fix. They gave me a timeframe of 4 days for repair completion. I dropped my car off Wednesday and my vehicle was completed and ready for pick up that Friday (3 days). Waiting Area & Cleanliness — 5 Stars: Front office is clutter free and clean. Floors/Windows are clean. They have a little mini fridge with beverages (so cute). Extra : They called me the day after (saturday) to follow up and ensure my vehicle was still working properly. They also mentioned prior to following up that with repair service comes with a 36 month warranty. Which is wonderful and gives peace of mind. Thank you to Khylin (front desk rep), Antione (service advisor) and Justin (manager) as well as the rest of staff who had a hand directly and indirectly in assisting me. Once I picked up my vehicle they printed my invoice and payment receipt stapled it all together and placed it in an envelope I could keep in my car or file away) Overall Thoughts: - Amazing customer service - Fast repair completion - Clear communication about repairs. If you hold these three points in high regard for repair shops go to J.J. s Auto Service Center. I would come here again for minor/major repairs. They did an amazing job fixing my vehicle and getting me back on the road.

Today was a first for me. I was excited to support JJ'S Auto Service Center. Jamal was an absolute pleasure. The communication and ease of making an appointment was outstanding. To see the owner JJ working with his crew and on the cars was outstanding.I forgot the lady's name at the front desk but she was awesome. Keep it up! I will be back for sureThank you!!

I spoke to two employees and neither of them were willing to provide an ESTIMATE for replacing the rear brake pads and rotors on my car. I had already established that my car needs those items and they were pushy about bringing my car in for a separate inspection so they could give me an exact price. I only asked for an estimate. I was even told they need to inspect my parts which I had told them were OEM brake pads and OEM rotors from the actual dealer. Also, they would not tell me the labor guide for replacing brake pads and rotors for my car neither would they tell me their labor rate. I also asked if they agreed that my car needed brakes and rotors, how much would they charge me for that service. They refused to give me an answer. This is the only shop that I have ever experienced this. Given their reviews, I did not expect this experience.

My experience at J.J.’s Auto Center was a delight! A big round of applause to the individuals that assisted me with my state inspection. I was able to get in on the same day with a reasonable wait time. Everyone was kind and helpful. Many thanks for everything yall. *please note that your experience with time and accommodations with scheduling may be different than mine. Please use my review as a marker of the service. Depending on the time of day and what they have going on you may have similar results as me or not. Be patient and understanding and I guarantee you’ll be taken care of. Be easy yall!

J&J Auto Service was fantastic! I brought my SUV there to get an overview of what was going on with it; they were very professional, courtesy and made sure I knew all the details. The customer service was excellent as well as the technicians. The technician, Joe, ran my car fax report and went over all the details with me, explaining everything and made sure I knew which service was needed. Overall, J&J is an excellent auto service business

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Dropped my car off in the morning 9/17/25 for a DIAGNOSTIC, no work needed to be done at all I just needed to find out what was wrong. 1 day went past, didnt hear any updates, 2 days, nothing, so I called. Got told they had to speak to someone about it and would get back to me, of course they did not. I went up there for an update and my service advisor told me it was my bushing thats went bad, and he could give me a loaner for the inconvenience on monday(today) and also my diagnostic would be finished and I would have the report. Monday is here, no report, no rental, no updates, nothing. And also, I had to call for another update and they told me something completely different was wrong and didn’t mention what the guy told me last week. Terrible shop, terrible customer service, I would not recommend wasting your money and time here. I had to call around 7 times just for updates which they couldn’t provide, the hung up on me while I was talking, and tried to say the line ended while I physically heard them hand up the phone. 0/10 thanks for wasting my time doing nothing

I really wanted to like this place, but the turnaround time is just too long. The first time I went, it took over a week just for them to diagnose my car. I wasn’t in a rush and assumed they were just backed up, so I let it go. However, when I brought in another car recently for a different issue, I waited several days again before they even looked at it. I had to call multiple times to get updates, and when they finally responded, the only answer I got was that I’d need to pay an additional $250 diagnostic fee if I wanted a precise answer—something they never mentioned upfront, even though they had my car for four days. After waiting all that time with no diagnosis, I ended up taking my car to another shop that charged no diagnostic fee, told me exactly what was wrong, and fixed it within 24 hours. When I shared my frustration with JJ’s about the long wait, I was told they see 50 cars a day. That may work for them, but it’s far too many for the level of communication and service I expect. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them.

I visited JJ’s Auto Service Center today and got some Awesome service at an Amazing price. I saved tremendously by using a coupon and signing up for the VIP program. Got a tour of the facility and felt really good about my visit. They will be servicing my vehicle from now on!

Nothing short of fast, knowledgeable and informative! My service advisor joe informed me of the work needed. And the importance of getting the work done so that I can be safe.best part about the repairs is that I got my jeep back the NEXT BUISNESS DAY! I've taken this thing to 3 different shops who replaced the wrong bearing multiple times. These guys found the issue along with finding a potential future issue as well. Best shop in Southern MD!

I did a search on google for a shop nearby. I chose to called them. The gentleman on the phone told me to come in. Mine you it was very close to closing time. I went to the shop to have my mirror replaced and they asked if I wanted them checked it out and made a recommendation for another issue. I returned to have it repaired and I got a discount for becoming a member. All-all it was a great experience. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. Not to mention the price being affordable.

My experience was amazing from start to finish. The professionalism, updates, pricing, and services were above reproach. This is now the go-to place for both of our BMWs. They were able to diagnose and repair at half the cost quoted by the dealer, saving me over $2,000.00. Feeling so blessed after picking my vehicle up today. Thank you JJ!

Was treated in a stellar fashion after booking appoint on-line and showing up. Was made welcome and got good response and interaction from every employee I encountered. The extended hospitality was great. The price for requested services was reasonable, there were no surprises. Will probable take my orher vehicle there as well, which needs more serious attention.

I had a mixed experience here. I initially spent about $4,400 on a new braking system and exhaust, which seemed fair given the labor involved. However, a week later my steering wheel began shaking during high-speed driving and braking. When I brought the car back, I was told I needed four new tires, a wheel alignment, and further exhaust work, quoted at $1,100 ($1600 for the exhaust). This raised concerns; especially since the exhaust issue should have been addressed the first time. For comparison, I went elsewhere and received three new tires plus an alignment for $560, nearly half the cost. Overall, the shop does competent work, but they are expensive and I felt pressured into unnecessary services and high prices.

Had a great experience. I had purchased a vehicle from out of state and was surprised that I needed to have an inspection. I was able to call while I was on the way get an appointment, and get it taken care of. They were very polite they clearly are a member of the community several people came in and even brought them food because they were so thankful for what they did to their vehicles. I have a great auto shop already, but if I didn't this would be my shop. Highly recommend

They’ve had my car for a MONTH and continuously updated me and made me feel like my car was in the right hands.. and it sure was. The customer service is definitely something people need to be aware of because they are AWESOME

Outstanding Service – Engine Replacement I can’t say enough great things about the team here! Jamal, Justin, and the entire crew went above and beyond during my recent engine replacement. From start to finish, they were professional, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. Jamal and Justin took the time to work closely with the warranty company and made sure everything was approved without delays. Their communication throughout the process was excellent, and I always felt informed and confident in the work being done. The technicians did an amazing job — the engine runs smooth, and the car feels better than ever. You can tell this team takes pride in their work and stands behind what they do. Even after the repair, when a check engine light came on, they were quick to respond and offered to take a look during my upcoming visit for glass work. That kind of follow-through is rare and much appreciated. If you’re looking for a shop that treats your car like their own and truly values their customers, look no further. An absolutely amazing place of business and family. I had my audi s4 here for almost a year dealing with a bad insurance company and terrible dealership but justin/j.j. auto stuck by my side through it all. Honestly never been treated so nicely from any establishment with very good quality work and prices there's no complaints here. They will work with you to get the job done in the best way and Justin's words of encouragement kept me driven to finish/complete this rebuild of my audi instead of giving up halfway through. Highly recommend and greatly appreciate the time work and open arms this business came with Honestly just simply amazing people here!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with my recent experience at your establishment. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change a day or two in advance and specifically mentioned to the receptionist that I would also like my brakes checked for potential replacement. I dropped off my vehicle at 1 PM and clearly communicated that I would not be waiting on-site, intending to pick it up once the service was completed. However, I received a call at approximately 4:50 PM informing me that while my brakes were in good condition, my oil change had not been completed. I was then told that, due to your closing time of 5 PM on a Friday, I would need to pick up my vehicle on the following Monday. This is unacceptable. I had anticipated that my vehicle would be serviced within the four hours it was with you, especially since I had made the appointment specifically for this purpose. Had I known that my oil change would not be completed the same day, I would have opted for a quicker service at another location. This experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied, and I will not be returning to your establishment in the future.

The lady at the front counter is so awesome and the inspection videos are very helpful. However, I had some tires mounted onto new rims (sealed in box) and they scuffed up my new rims and tried to cover it up with sharpie. Lol. Really? Also was quoted $2k+ for brake pads. Dealership quoted $1200 with rotors.

Great customer service and the team does keep you updated every step of the way. In terms of pricing, they are on the higher end, which is why I couldn't give 5 stars. Yes, you get discounts through the app, but even with the discounts, the pricing is still on the higher end. The warranty they offer is great, and may justify the higher prices, but that all depends on what you get done. Overall, my rating is 4.5/5 and I will go back, just because of the customer service.

Took in a vehicle the dealer recommended a completely new radio (over $1k). JJs was able to find and diagnose the heart of the issue which was a part stemming from a new battery swap out by someone else that led to other dash lights coming on and radio going out. Great communication as always.

The customer service here is outstanding, and I would definitely return. They offer a free diagnosis and provide services that enhance the quality of life for your vehicle. I previously visited the Honda dealership in Waldorf for an extended warranty claim on my compressor and condenser. They incorrectly quoted me, claiming that my compressor was broken and that I needed to spend $1,820 on repairs. However, the technicians at J.J. found that I only needed more freon. The service was excellent, and I would come back if I ever have issues with my car.

This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had getting my oil changed. Staff were friendly, efficient, thorough, and welcoming. My car was serviced quickly. The shop offers numerous discounts and rebates through its online app and loyalty program. I not only got a great price on an oil change/tire rotation, but I also got a free pair of windshield wipers, which I sorely needed. The waiting room has free coffee, water, and snacks (and a clean bathroom). I will absolutely go back.
