It's hard to know who to trust. I trust Stan and his team. They seem happy and dedicated to what they do. There definitely is a vibe of integrity and familiarity. Been going for 20 years.
Dreading the day that they eventually go out of business.
dropped my vehicle off on New Year’s Eve
received my car back on Friday they’re very honest I thought there was one thing wrong with my car and the whole time. It was not what it was. I’m so thankful that I took it there.
Left car Wednesday morning. Did not get car back until the following Wednesday morning.
Charged $98 diagnostic fee when he told me prior to bringing it in that it would cost $50. That fee should not be applied if you agree to the work being done. He stated the car was ready on Friday but he forgot to call. Instead he called on Saturday even though they were closed so he could do paperwork. Sunday they were closed. Monday they were closed due to holiday. Tuesday he was short staffed due to holiday so I couldn't be picked up. Wednesday I made my own arrangements to pickup my car. I received no apology for my inconvenience and the charges were in my opinion were over the top for the work performed.
I was referred to him by a "regular customer"
He too was shocked and disappointed in the price and delays. He wanted to intervene but i like knowing who im dealing with, when spending my money. An apology and an adjustment in the bill should have been offered to make it right for me as a new customer who they should want to keep.
At this point I would not recommend due to prices and poor customer service.

Griffins does Auto Repair and Customer Service right. My family has trusted them with our vehicles for years. Recently I needed them to replace damaged wiring, and as usual they went above and beyond, getting me an extension for the emissions inspection and inflating a tire that was low.
They take care of my two work trucks and and my wife's car. Been using them for years. Very honest and knowledgeable mechanics, which is invaluable. I would recommend them too anyone. Stan is the man!

I dropped my car off on Monday night on Tuesday afternoon, I received a call from Matt saying that the oxygen sensor maybe bad,he asked if he had permission to order the part,I told him yes,he then said that he would call me back ,which he never did.I called him back he stated oh I forgot to give you a call he then said that he would order the part and my vehicle should be ready late Wednesday or early Thursday morning. I arrive at the shop Thursday morning at 1045 because again no communication once there I was told that they could not find a work order ticket or my keys,and was told that I didn't give them permission to order the part so nothing was done.2 days wasted in the shop.they finally found my keys,I got them and left.bad customer service, bad vibe. I don't know if they treat all of their customers like that or just those of color that's the vibe that I am referring to.Sad!!!!!
I have been going to Griffin's Service Center since 1996. They never over-charge and they do the job right the first time. They are very courteous, professional, and care about their customers. I will never go to another service center. Thank you, Stan and staff!
Having driven past Griffin's Service Center a hundred times, we decided to try them out for a vehicle inspection, after a family member raved about their service. Mr. Griffin didn't waste time inspecting the car and reporting back the failing issues. One problem in particular, an electrical issue, we knew would be a problem because no one else could fix it. A day later we got the car back and the problem had been resolved. If you're looking for experienced, honest, and quality mechanics, you'll find all of that here with the Griffin's!
An amazing family run business. They are honest people who only do the repairs needed. Reasonable prices and great work. Dependable and fast service. I highly recommend Griffin's for all of your car and truck repairs.
Had a nail in my tire they were the only shop open at 6am and I am sooo glad as I work early morning. Took care of my tire with quickness and ease. They were very polite as well!!!
I came here once for a check engine light off of guy I knew who comes here, they were very nice and definitely honest about the problem, they could have charged me to fix it, but as it turned out it was not neccessary and they told me that flat out. Very good service.
When I moved to Randallstown 23 years ago, my regular mechanic told me to bring my car to Griffin's because they, like him, had a reputation for doing first-class work at a reasonable price. He also used the adjective "honest" somewhere in there. He was right. These guys are the best and I will not bring my car to anyone else.
I called to get an estimate on a part to be replaced. It's a low beam light bulb and I was told that I had to bring it in for them to give me the price. Mind you I priced it already at various auto part stores. The person I spoke with did not try to help. He just said sorry and then hung up. Meanwhile I had other locations offer to price it and call me back.
My late wife (who passed just a little over a year ago) and I relied on Griffin's Service Center from the time we were fairly newlyweds (married 1994)and moved to the Randallstown area around 1996. The long-time owner, Stan is very reliable, professional, friendly & personable. Always on top of everything. It is clear that Stan is a man of great integrity and I would highly recommend his service center to anyone...and sometimes do. Once about 10 years ago he let my wife know that there was just a loose wire. In an industry where those without mechanical ability / knowledge are concerned about being taken advantage of because of what they don't know, Stan and his team always demonstrate great integrity (as exemplified in the prime example I mentioned) and customer service that is top-notch. My current car which I purchased 8 years ago and my late wife's car which is being given to our / my son after he hopefully passes his driver's license re-test this Monday and returns to college will continue to be serviced by Griffin's service center for any of our needs. My son's inherited car will be in need of an oil change before school starts and if you've read this far you already know where that oil change will be performed :)
