The guys at the counter are always friendly and attentive, the technicians always do an excellent job, and they offer the best prices compared to other workshops. This is my second time going to the shop, and I'm always very satisfied.

The service here in randallstown is horrible! I had a 9am appointment and waited over 3 hours to have my tires installed! This will be the last time I'll ever come this place. The crazy part was it wasn't busy.

I had a tire plugged there today and from the lack of customer service to the fact that they only take cash and don’t tell you this prior to receiving service or have any signs posted is absurd for a company in 2025. I should have read the reviews prior and won’t be returning. There’s no reason that I came to get serviced, and I am told afterwards that it’s cash only and I need to find a ATM. I was then told I could use Zelle to pay, which God only knows if it actually went to the company and not in someone’s pocket. I would caution you to use them to fix your car.

I got new tires as a first time buyer. The price was great and the team was very professional.

After spending over $1,000 on brand-new Continental tires at Pep Boys, I expected at least a basic level of care and professionalism, but the entire experience felt extremely sketchy and low-quality. The Owings Mills location was helpful when scheduling my appointment and directed me to the Randallstown shop for installation, but when I arrived the facility looked rundown, smelled like mold, and honestly felt like an abandoned shop that had just reopened. While my car was being serviced, I heard loud drilling, and when I looked into the bay I saw the technicians working on my car wearing ski-mask style face coverings, which made the environment feel unprofessional and concerning; when I tried to ask a simple question, they abruptly told me to leave the area. When the job was finished, my wheels were still covered in lube and debris, several lug-bolt caps were missing, and even my Audi center cap was gone. When I pointed it out, they claimed they “looked everywhere” and couldn’t find it. For the price I paid, the lack of care, cleanliness, professionalism, and accountability at this Pep Boys location was completely unacceptable.

The service was good, I was forewarned that it would be a wait. I was there approximately 2 hours- not too bad.

I booked the appointment online to change my tires....everything went well and installation was done nicely.... Thank you pep boys and the entire team...

Came in to get 4 new tires. I got all 4 new ones put on but not securely. I had a lugnut come off of the tire the very next day. When I asked about what happened I was given the response "well it sounds like someone was trying to steal your tire". Right so instead of owning up to your mistake of not tightening all lugnuts you think someone is stealing my tire. I also had to take my car to another shop to get it balanced correctly since they messed that up. They couldn't even give me a phonecall to tell me that they kept my wheel lock for my car since they forgot to put it back.

Double zero stars for this company. I went in on Sunday to purchase a tire. i was told tire would be in after 2pm. I repeatedly told the guy i need tire today because i have business to take care of. I called and was placed on hold so long i hung up. Needleless to say tire never came. Called again Monday spoke to a different person who informed me the tire was scheduled for Wednesday delivery but he could switch it to that day for 1pm. 3:30 pm calls store back only to be told warehouse made an error and the tire wont be in until tomorrow. Very unprofessional and complete liars. I could have went elsewhere and didn't have to miss work waiting on a lie. I will never do business here again.

I went last Saturday after making an appointment online for AC repair. Arrived by 0730. The attendant told me they don't do AC's at that location and showed me his screen where their system booked about 10 people for 0700; yet, they aren't open at 0700. 😆 I wasn't upset with him, but the company needs to get it together. First time at a Pep Boys. Sad.

if i could give this company zero stars I would. this company is appalling, they failed to provide correct service to my daughter. they charged her over $1000 took her money very quickly for the wrong parts and never fixed the car. When cameras get pulled the company will see how they took advantage of my daughter and put her in a very dangerous situation. this pepboys put my daughters life at risk and pepboys in marlton and another mechanic and attest to this. when this was escalated she was promised this would be handled correctly. instead the manager shannon kept harassing her and failed to properly take responsibility for the poor service provided. we will not stop until these people are held accountable for their actions and a refund is issued.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Alsono failed to correctly type my name in, phone number all information multiple times. It took over 30 minutes for him to get simple customer information and his other employee Shannon had to take care. There was no respect of communication. I was told I would get a call about my car and how to proceed moving forward. Waited all day for a call, only to find out that they completely forgot to call and tell me what happened. I had to call this company three times myself to check on that status of my car. I was not talked to be the mechanic nor told what was wrong with the car just the obnoxious and overpriced receipt. I did not mind paying for the labor and work that had to be done, however, the rudeness received and the disrespect is ridiculous. They never fixed my car. It still had the same issues I paid to fix. When I confronted the worker about this they refused to claim any responsibility and only cared to tell me that “chris” was the one helping me and it was his fault. Mind you the only person who took my information was alsono and Shannon. Kenneth serviced the car. They also told me to come pick up my car at 5:30, I got there and they said they closed at 5 and could not fix my car again. Even though they are open till 6 online. The lack of respect, ownership and responsibility from grown men was appalling, would not recommend this pep boys to anyone in the Maryland area. Thank you to the other pep boys for helping me fix this unfortunate situation a person should never be in! The absolute worst service provided, manager was constantly harassing me only concerned about correcting his reputation instead of making things right. Will continue to speak out until situation is made right!

I wanted to wait for my car to be serviced. I was given a free inspection of my brakes. Afterwards, I was told it should take an hour to an hour and a half. Due to auto zone’s mistake in delivery of the wrong parts, I spent my entire morning waiting, from 9:00-2:45 pm. My advisor did apologize. It would’ve been nice if they had a shuttle service to drop you off at home or nearby shopping center.

The time to install my new tires were reasonable and the price was reasonable. The mechanics and the manager were very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, it only took 1 day for the tires I ordered from the Pep Boys website to reach the store.

The guys at my local Pep Boys did an outstanding job on my 2019 Lexus ES350. I took it in to have the brakes checked and routine oil change/tire rotation. It only took them an hour and a half before they called to let me know my car was done and I didn't need any brake work! I feel I can trust Shannon and the mechanics there to give me an honest assessment of my car's condition and what work I need to have done. I will be taking my car there for its scheduled maintenance.

Went to the Randallstown location and was very pleased. I want to give a huge shoutout to Patrick and Makhi at Pep Boys! I came in with a flat tire and a tight budget, and they went above and beyond to help me find the right tire at the best price. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to work with me made a stressful situation so much easier. These guys truly care about their customers, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you both!"

I ordered a tire from Pepboys and made the appointment for it to be installed, all online. When I arrived at the store for the appointment they pulled my appointment up on their system, the tire I ordered was there and ready to be installed. Everything went very smoothly. I will definitely go back there to replace my other tires. It was a very good experience.

Man they took better care of me better than Ben Stoler Lexus Owings Mills. They sold me a certified “Like new” RX 350L with 1/4 of back brakes left thinking I will trust them to charge me to fix a problem I shouldn’t have so soon. So I went to Pepboys and Pat took great care of me. I mean the price was no where new Lexus price. And the service was great. I actually didn’t have any wait time. I recommend them. It’s hard to find great car service in Maryland. And the mechanic fixing my brakes is a TRUE pro.

I just hung up with a pep boy employee. Called to get an estimate on how much it will cost for them to look at my car to tell me what wrong with it, a diagnostic. The employee told me there is no way he can give me a price for a DIAGNOSTIC if he doesn’t know what’s wrong with the car. So, I asked him, that makes no sense. So I can drop off my car and u charge me $1,000 for a DIAGNOSTIC and I will have to pay that what if I can’t afford it? He said, if u can’t afford to fix your car that’s not my problem. I kept my composure and told him everything he just told me makes NO sense and I was trying my best to explain to him I need to know how much it costs to LOOK at my car! I told him I’ll call somewhere else employee said “Good Luck” in a rude way. I immediately called another company and immediately got a quote, for a DIAGNOSTIC. That company will get my business. Pep boys on Liberty Rd….Do better. All I called for was a quote. How do u not know how much it costs to looks at my car???

Did not change my oil it was black as it was when I came to have it changed . Charged me 84 dollars and a 2hr wait for no service. All these little places treat ppl like this especially women . I started to go get my money back just didn’t want to start no mess but it’s wrong that these car places do this! Just lazy and scammers !

I recently had a wonderful experience at Pep Boys in Randallstown, and I couldn't be happier! After a visit to my car dealership for an oil change, I received a lengthy list of problems along with some pretty high repair estimates. Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to seek a second opinion at Pep Boys. The team there was incredibly helpful and took the time to go through the issues the dealership mentioned. They reassured me that my car was still relatively new and that most of the concerns didn’t need immediate attention. This kind of honesty and transparency is rare and much appreciated! One of the best parts of my visit was that they changed my windshield wipers at no cost, which was a delightful surprise. I left feeling informed and cared for, rather than taken advantage of, which is often a concern for women in the auto service industry. I wholeheartedly recommend Pep Boys in Randallstown to anyone in need of automotive services. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. I will be returning for future needs. I just can’t believe I went to Pep boys again. When I lived in NJ, I had a bad experience at Pep boys and told myself never to go there again. Recently, I moved to Maryland and thought that maybe the service would be better but HECK NO…it was worse. I went in for a brake job and to have my rotors sanded and was told that I needed new rotors. I didn’t believe them but I didn’t want to risk it. They replaced the rotors and brake pads only, leaving the original brake shoes which were rusty in color. Anyhow, they charged $1200.00 for the job and less than a month later, the rotors look just as rusty as my old rotors did. Pep boys is a total rip off and they use cheap parts. I have never met bigger hustlers in my life. I WILL NEVER GO TO PEP BOYS AGAIN!! Don’t believe anything they tell you. Get a second opinion.

Tonight, I stopped by to drop my car off for new tires to be put on tomorrow. The technicians, Will and Mekhi, offered to do the service tonight instead of tomorrow since they were not busy and had time before close. I just wanted to thank them so much for accommodating me tonight and getting my car done so quickly so that I didn’t have to come back again tomorrow! A++++ service!

Twice they told me repair was completed, repair of HC/heating. Neither time was that the case. I paid before I realized they hadn't performed the work, and they have thus far not refunded money. This was over three-week period. I took car elsewhere where they found the problem that Pep Boys hadn't and fixed it within a day and for just over half the price Pep Boys charged. This was the worst car service experience I've ever had, and weeks later, Pep Boys has still not refunded my money.

This location responded immediately to my concerns. Service advisor very courteous, knowledgeable and made sure I understood the work to be done. Unlike my experience with another Pep Boys Location on Baltimore National Pike. Difference of night and day. I cancelled with them and ordered thru Pep Boys Liberty Rd. Randallstown. No respect at Baltimore National Pike Location.

Happy with the service I received. I made my appointment online and when I got there, they looked to be very busy. I understood when you make an appointment online the web system does not take full account of their workload. So I thought it was going to take a while but, my oil change was done in a timely manner. When my vehicle inspection was done and they found something else that needed to be done. That was completed in good time as well. Thanks to Darnell S and William E for the excellent service I received. Y'all are appreciated.

These guys are great! They've taken care of my car needs (more than once now) even when I've come in needing same day service when no one else around would. I really appreciate their understanding and their service, which is why I now go there every time, exclusively. Highly recommend this pep boys to anyone needing trustworthy, quality work/services to their automobile. I also haven't personally experienced any extra charges, fees nor fluff that I've gotten elsewhere. Been there 4 times and have nothing but praise.
