My wife’s SUV needed a battery. It’s dark and bitter cold. We get her vehicle jump started and take it to Auto Zone on Ritchie Highway. Fortunately we met “Kenny” who was working behind the counter at the time. He took charge and not only had the right battery at the right price, but he went out and installed it! Installing this battery wasn’t easy as it was tucked near the firewall under layers of molded hard plastic.
Auto Zone is very fortunate to have an employee like Kenny who goes the extra mile when most others wouldn’t. He turned a tough situation around. Thank you Kenny.
Alyssa…was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. Without hesitation she answered all of my questions and even assisted me with putting on the windshield wiper. I applaud her above and beyond customer service.
Massive shoutout to Darrius today—seriously, what an absolute gem of a person.
Not only did he recharge my A/C and replace my air filter (which saved me a good bit of money), but he went above and beyond in the way he helped me. He didn’t just do the task—he made sure I understood everything, was patient, kind, and genuinely wanted to help. That kind of compassion is so rare these days, especially when you’re just out trying to get errands done.
It wasn’t just the quick fix—it was the way he showed he cared., the way he listened, and the pride he clearly takes in helping people. You can tell when someone’s heart is really in what they do, and Darius is one of those people. He made what could have been a stressful, expensive day feel easy and even uplifting.

Oh my goodness we were swept off our feet real nice gentleman awesome grew very knowledgeable nothing was to heavy and they didn't blow us smoke as most machines do when it comes to women They were very patient they really showed their manners respect tender care for our cause thank you gentlemen hope to see you again soon enough
I recently visited and needed help with a windshield wiper blade. The associate answered my questions, assisted with the purchase of a the proper blade and even installed it for me. She was kind, helpful and efficient. I was in and out in minutes. I certainly recommend AutoZone Severna Park.
Consistently late deliveries and unhelpful staff with limited knowledge on car parts. Needs improvement in both service and reliability. I could say bushy hair tall guy does know a little bit I barley see him there anymore , I will be taking my business to the parts store across the street !

I was on the way to the beach and the splash shield popped off the bottom of my truck and was dragging on the highway. I found my way to the closest automotive store i could find and it was the Autozone in Severna Park store #1140. A young man named Jacob took the time to check it out and help me cut the shield off so i could quickly get back on the road. Awesome dude and excellent customer service. I tried to give him a tip and he politely declined so i shoved into his pocket anyway. Thanks Jacob! You saved the day! (p.s. give that kid a raise)
Mario was quick and accomplished replacing my battery in about 15 minutes. He’s a great dude and deserves some recognition for his hard work! He assisted me with buying the right battery in my price range with a warranty and all. Very happy with my visit today.

I stopped by this location yesterday to have my battery tested and Monique was quick to assist. Another customer was in for the same problem, and she was able to help both of us with ease. She replaced both of our batteries very quickly. Car trouble can be frustrating, but when you are helped by someone with excellent customer service and communication skills it really means a lot to the customers. I want to thank her for making my day easier, and I'm positive the other customer would agree. Thanks!
I received a warning ticket for rear light out and decided to stop at this location for assistance. Darius was more than willing to help me and replaced my bulb with a huge smile. He took care of the issue in less than 10 minutes with great knowledge and professionalism. I hope that his management team within the building and higher up sees this review and treats him to a fabulous meal. He is one of the kindest young men that I've ever met. Great service at short notice tonight, especially at 8.30pm on a Saturday night. Battery issue which meant swapping a dud battery for a new one which they did very efficiently. Would highly recommend.

I had a problem with my break light and although I was told that they do not normally do that Miss Monique went out of her way to help me out with my brake light. She even took the time to show me how to do it myself if in event I ever have another problem again very nice very efficient great job.
Young girl at the counter sold me and then . returned a defective brake caliper, she refunded the caliper but refused to refund the core charge even though by returning the defective caliper, there was no legacy core, both needed to be refunded. This was too complicated for her to understand. Had to return back to the store when the night manager was there to make the refund. The young girl clerk couldn't comprehend the concept of a cancelled core return. Very concerning that she couldn't process simple common sense. I won't return to this store.
Great service. Got battery tested and replaced in short amount of time. The tech put the battery in quickly and carefully made sure everything was in place and properly attached. Very happy. Car is functioning well again!
This is the first review I have literally ever posted online about anything, but the people here were so unhelpful and rude, it was wild. Ignored me when I walked in and waited by the front desk area, the guy at the desk seemed deeply annoyed I was asking for assistance and eventually (loudly) interrupted me to send me to another person who could not help me at all and had to go back and ask that guy anyway.
Super frustrating for a place which touts service as a core competency.
Very Good Customer Service, the lady who helped me(sadly didn't get her name) told me what to look for and where. She also helped me get a part i needed for my car by calling another store near by to see if they had it(they did) so I could get my part the same day! She also helped me put my windshield Wipers on after I bought them, she could see I was struggling a bit(all I know about cars is they are made of engine) and helped me put them on, she didn't have to go the extra mile but she did. So thank you for that!
My boyfriend called ahead to ask if they only did curbside pick up, Frank answered the phone and said “ye”. He explained curbside orders had to be done online and basically hung up right after. I called back and asked if we could go into the store (we were looking for a specific item), I was told yes. He was pretty rude on the phone. Gave one word answers and hung up before I could even thank him for answering my questions. We get to the store and ask for assistance, Frank “helped” us. He spoke with food in his mouth, and at one point even spit some out. He was talking over his phone radio. We even had to repeat ourselves a few times because he couldn’t understand what my boyfriend was saying over his phone. He then spat out a random number and gave little description on where to find our item and dismissed us. While we did find what we were looking for, the store definitely lacked good customer service. Usually we have a much better experience here.
I would give zero stars if I could. This morning, I experienced the most reprehensible lack of customer service and common courtesy at this location, in addition to a complete absence of technical skills. I went to buy a new battery for my vehicle, as it had died overnight and would no longer hold a charge, even after being jumped. The manager of the store, Tom, without even checking under the hood, said they would not be able to change out the battery. When I asked him to take a look at the battery before making that decision, he reluctantly agreed. After struggling to unlatch and raise the hood, he took one glance, shook his head and claimed "there are too many wires" and that it was "too complicated". I explained to him that the vehicle is sitting dead in their parking lot and that I needed some sort of assistance. His response: "There's an Exxon up the road. They can jump you." and walked away. I ended up calling a neighbor, who is not an auto mechanic, and they were able to come by with their own tools, and replace the old battery for a new one, in less than 10 minutes. I will never give my business to this store again, as their manager is devoid of any level of competency and customer care, with skills that max out at replacing wiper blades.
