Went in for an oil change and ended up having to have some additional work done at a reasonable price. They got me in and out quickly and the service manager, Mike Betke, personally checked in the next day to make sure everything was in tip top condition. We will be back!

Trust worthy! I brought my car in to get a second opinion about some work a dealership recommended. They evaluated the situation, determined it wasn't needed, and explained why. This saved me almost $2,000. Thank you Mike and Michael

Great experience with very nice and professional employees. Appointment was set up by Mike and drop off was very easy. Called me later with work needed and pricing. Gave him OK and car was ready to pick up two hours later. Repair worked perfectly and pricing was very resonable. Full explanation of work done and why it was needed along with suggestions for the future. Diane was very nice at time of car pickup and gave me an overview of the other car repair services they offer. Severna Park Automotive is outstanding!

I have been taking my car to Severna Park Automotive for many years now. I have nothing but great things to say about the care they have given me and my car!! I love that they have a loaner on site and they always send a personal follow up text after a few days to make sure everything is ok. As a single woman I have felt taken advantage of in the past by other automotive shops but not this one. Highly recommend !

I was a first time customer last week as I needed a safety inspection and a few other small items to a recently purchased car. They were excellent. Very friendly, easy, organized, and fast. And reasonably priced. Very much recommend them,

I have now been here twice, as a first time customer I was nervous because most shops i’ve been too really try to take my money. I first took my car in for a simple oil change. These guys were extremely communicative, fair, and even went the extra mile and replaced my car key battery for free because they noticed it was broken. Another shop had quoted me $400 for that. It is this type of business and ownership that made me go back a second time- I had no idea what was wrong with my car and was no help to them, but they figured it out, communicated right away and swiftly, and didn’t try to swindle me into something else. Every person I have met or talked to here has been so kind and helpful, I think I have found my new auto shop!

Great service and very quick! I dropped my car off at 5:00PM and got the inspection and new rotors at noon the next day. They will pick you up also which is a nice gesture.

First time customer looking for a new shop for our service and repair needs. Took one of our cars in for oil and lube as well as to have a noise in the steering column checked. Everything was done as requested and the car was delivered early. Communication about the upcoming appointment and information about the work completed was provided via a call from the tech and by email. Cost was pretty standard. An excellent experience all around and we will be using Severna Park Automotive going forward. Thanks folks, well done!

My van was serviced and ready when promised. I was given information regarding future maintenance I should schedule. I find this very helpful. All employees are professional and friendly. I can highly recommend Severna Park Automotive. In addition the cost was reasonable.

New customers are welcomed here and given great customer service. We are new customers. We are impressed with the great communication skills , from making an appointment to the repairs, to the final pick up of our cars. We received quality work . We even received a free service because a problem with the AC was difficult to find at the first visit. We were aware of this, but never expected free service. Who does that anymore. Wow! Great experience .I had a slow leak in my tire and even though their bays were all filled they they took care of the issue quickly and at a great price. They do my normal maintenance as well and are always priced right.

Good afternoon, I dropped off my car Monday evening for a maintenance check. I was informed what needed to be replaced the next day. The staff was really personable and friendly. Had a MD state inspection done. Found worn control arms and without pressure, Mike both offered a quote for them to do the work but also noted I could have it done elsewhere as well. Price was reasonable and they got it done in a day. Highly recommend them - fair, polite and dependable.

Mike and the team at Severna Park Automotive are amazing! They were highly recommended from a parishioner at my church and although they are far from me (15 miles away, 30+ minute drive sometimes), I refuse to take my car anywhere else!

New post Aug 2021 Once again came thru with help on my Tacoma. So convenient and reasonable. Great to have such a reliable place for service so close to home. Love the way choices are laid out and recommended. Very useful in maintaining an older vehicle that does not need to be 'perfect'. Mike solved an A/C problem that my truck's previous owner had taken to several places with no success.

I am so glad I found this company! I needed some minor things done and a quick Google search led me to them! I was able to get an appointment quickly. When I brought my car in, Betty was so kind and helpful, even setting up use of their courtesy car that was available so I wouldn’t have to use ride share services. Mike was great as well. He kept in touch about cost estimates and repairs and when my car would be done. Their communication is fantastic and thorough during the entire process. Once my car was done, I picked it up and was pleasantly surprised at the cost.. much less than I’d anticipated. I will be using Severna Park Automotive again and am happy to recommend them to all my friends! Thanks for a great experience!

They do fantastic and timely work. My only issue is that there is zero flexibility on supplying your own parts. I had a bunch of new OEM and Bilstein suspension parts that I acquired at a great price, but they refused to install for me. Hate to give the labor to another shop, but it is what it is.

We had a sudden but severe battery issue on a holiday weekend. After a few days we had a short streak of luck getting it to finally start but couldn't call SPAuto to confirm they could take us given the holiday. We felt bad but just dropped it off at their door while it was still running to avoid needing a tow and left a voicemail apologizing and asking them to get to it at their convenience. The next business day they looked at it, fixed the problem within 48 hours and returned the car to us in tip top shape. We greatly appreciated the help, and quick help at that, especially with our inability to call ahead and schedule.

My first experience with Severna Park Automotive far surpassed my expectations. They were efficient knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They explained everything in detail and communicated extremely well. I highly recommend them.

I originally brought my car here for a second opinion. However, I was so happy with the customer service and work that was done that I'll definitely be bringing my car back here the next time it needs maintenance. My car needed work unexpectedly and I was afraid it was going to affect my out of state travel plans. I told them this and they were quick and efficient...my car was finished within a day. Their customer service is great too. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was polite and helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions and also give me a break down of the cost of each repair.

First time using SPA but I was aware that some neighbors were big fans. My service was only an MD Inspection so my interactions were minimal, but I can say that they were highly communicative and utilize communications technology very well - best I've seen really. I've had several inspections done over the years at many different places and this was the first where the car needed nothing. Not sure if that says anything or not, but it might.

I needed my 2003 Toyota Camry inspected in one day. I told them just to fix anything required up to $350 without authorization. They did a wonderful job (as always). My bill came to about $300 (expected). First call was to say it was done. They ALWAYS go above and beyond. You need to trust your mechanic like your life depends on it. You can trust the integrity of Severna Park Automotive. 6 STARS!

Highly recommend Severna Park Auto! They are very trustworthy, honest and Quick. They gave me a more than fair price and good advice. The peace of mind I have taking my car to them is priceless. They are alway kind, and work as quickly as possible. They are an asset to our community!

Great service. Had my new (used) car state inspection here. They told me how long it would take and that was exactly how long it took! They went the extra mile and let me know some things about the car I may have to check out down the road. Mike is very easy to talk to and communicate with! Will be returning!

Very happy with the service I have received at Severna Park Automotive. My vehicle had a major mechanical failure so it was an expensive repair. Fortunately, they really know what they are doing at Severna Park Automotive. They thoroughly checked and tested to make sure my vehicle was completely up to par before giving it back to me. Very grateful to be back on the road and LOVING my vehicle once again - it is like it is new again!

Fantastic service. They are equipped with the newest technology to perform the necessary task on your vehicles. They have been in business for a very long time, I know 7 of the employees and technicians have been there for over 20 year, some for over 30, and 3 for 40. Good luck finding that anywhere! They are committed to fair and honest pricing and consistent repairs. It is unfortunate there are a few ridiculous negative reviews. The negative reviews are bogus. Severna Park Automotive is hands down the best place to have your car repaired honestly for reasonable costs.
