Styrofoam Recycling Dropoff in

So glad there is a spot to recycle styrofoam near us.

Wish there were more options like this around! We drove 2 hrs to be able to recycle our styrofoam. Glad this place exists though!

It's a drop in the bucket, but do what you can and drop this stuff off.

I love that this exists and that I found out about it just when I needed it! Recently I had to buy a new TV, so I had large amounts of styrofoam that needed to be disposed of. I've been trying to be more cognizant of my environmental impacts lately, so rather than throwing the styrofoam in the trash we threw it in the back of the car, drove behind the post office and immediately saw the drop-off boxes. The bins were fairly full, but we were able to squeeze our styrofoam in. High fives to whoever decided to set this up!

This is very convenient, and I feel so much better about bringing Styrofoam here rather than putting all of that volume into a landfill.

I love that we have the ability to recycle our styrofoam here, but they need to get a better container to hold the materials so they’re not blowing all over and ending up in our waterways.

I hope they are still taking styrofoam. Either there has been an extreme amount of dumping lately, or they are not picking up anymore.

It's great that there is a way to recycle styrofoam, as the county won't take it as recycling. Their website even points here as a place to take it. I had space, so I saved up a bunch of it; a Honda Odyssey nearly completely full. There was already a bunch here, but there was plenty of space for mine as well.

Completely streamlined drop off facility. Bins were easy to access by car, clearly marked, and there was plenty of space for a ton of styrofoam I had to drop off. There is even a dumpster right next to the styrofoam bins so that if something you brought does not qualify, you can put it there. Love that this place exists to keep material out of landfills!

Love the fact that someone is doing this. Worth the drive from Manassas Park to drop off. Please do what you can to keep this stuff out of the landfills. It never biodegrates! THANK YOU EPS & DART!

Finally a place to recycle Styrofoam! I've been taking this to the Howard County Alpha Ridge Landfill dump to recycle. 1/2 the time the container there was filled and wouldn't take anymore - their answer put it in the trash. So I would wait and try again. This past weekend they told me it was removed. I google and found this. Big containers - easy to drop off. Thank you to the company that set this up - I really appreciate it.
