This is the first Advanced Auto I've ever been to that refused to change my battery because "they didn't have the tools" or "its too dark outside". They also took out the core charge so I couldn't get anything from my returning my battery. I should have checked reviews of this place before I came here. Apparently this is an recurrent issue. Thurs. Nov 6 2015 @ 6pm.

I purchased a battery's here and when I tried to return the old one apparently they didn't add the core charge to the battery when it was purchased so I could nott get anything back for the battery.

I need a side post battery terminal disconnect they didn't have it...I had to order on line from somewhere else

I will choose advanced auto parts over autozone, any day, if people here are friendly, the parts are much better here

This Advance Auto is violating state law by selling car batteries but not paying core charges on old batteries or recycling used motor oil. Advance Auto doesn’t care about Maryland’s environment or its laws.

The staff at this AutoZone are terrific; helpful, thoughtful and kind. I had a car meltdown and needed their help advising me through the process, until it became clear I needed a tow truck. Couldn't recommend a better place to be stranded!

Battery replacement, Garfield helped me and was awesome he was patient, knowledgeable and his level of detail to ensure the smallest of details were met. He exceeded my expectations often when you come to these stores especially as a woman your confused and frustrated, from the moment he answered the phone, once I showed up he assisted me to park in the front and every detail until I left me ensured I was knowledgeable and reassured me of everything he did and why ( earlier that day I called a competitor and they told me my alternator was shot over the phone and he didn’t know where my battery was in my car he didn’t even know what kind of car i had) all I needed was a battery. You don’t meet people like him often enough. His kindness doesn’t go unnoticed and I won’t forget how he made me feel considering the situation. Thanks Garfield!!!

Garfield helped find and install my son's new windshield wipers and showed him how to replace his old ones. He was very knowledgeable and patient. Great service!!

I wanna say thanks for the amazing service I recieve from Jei who was very helpful today with me and mom checking the battery level on her car.He was fast ,friendly and very knowledgeable .Also the store was very clean and great temperature feeling .Thanks Jei for your services .

We just left with our blue 2014 fiat with a bad alternator. I just wanted to leave a quick review. The guy who helped us was so kind and empathetic. He helped a bad situation be not quite as bad. Thanks again.

I have to say, in the dozen times Ive shopped at this store, for convenience. Only once have I been able to buy the part that I needed. Their inventory is attrosious at best. I did have to give a 2 star because a couple of their employees have been so helpful.

I have been here twice for parts. Both times Garfield helped me and was hands down the best customer service I’ve had. He is always extremely polite and helpful, makes sure I have the correct parts and always checks to make sure I am getting the best deal. There are multiple different auto parts stores in the area but I will definitely be going back to this advanced auto specifically because of the service Garfield provides!

The technician replaced 2 batteries in my diesel truck. They were quick and courteous. They also gave helpful suggestions.

Bought spark plug wires and the employee gave me the wrong ones. When I went back to get a refund the lady dude manager just looked at me with a attitude like tough luck because I didn't have a receipt which I called up there and said it would as alright and can look it up the employee didn't even but my information in if it wasn't for the gm being there I would of lost out on money never again save yourself some time and order from Amazon

I had bought a battery there a month ago. I turned out defective. Mr. Garfield changed out my defective battery for a new one without issue.

Very helpful. I had a dead battery and they tested it, sold me a new one, then jumped the car so I could get home. (Something in their system said they couldn’t replace the battery for me).

Wow! First time at this advance auto parts was very impressive the representative was very know of what was needed went and picked out all of my items for me unexpectedly also used subjective selling skills that not all companies teach or promote anyway because of this i purchased a little extra not at all expense 6 extra dollars to be exact but was needed and because of his customer service i got exactly what I came for plus more thank you for your help you know who you are 😁😁😁

Great store, I needed to purchase new windshield wipers blades, I wasn't sure which one to get and the clerk ( I'm sorry I forgot her name, I think she is the manager) she was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for your great customer service.

Other than one mishap where I got a incorrectly sized belt being told it was a different size than what it was I have had generally good experiences here. They almost always have everything in stock that I'm looking for often even hard to find parts.

After not getting anywhere from one of their competitors in town, I zipped down to the new autozone in Severn. I have been in before to just pick up simple things but I needed help wiring some new lights for my car. Sam was awesome, he walked me through what I needed and even drew me a quick diagram on how to wire everything up. It was busy in the store but not once did I feel Sam ever rush the interaction. I’m definitely making this place my go to for all my auto needs. Ask for Sam, you will be glad you did.

I am not sure why parts are so expensive here. I got some parts and I was shocked as to how much it cost. They might say it's quality but I say it's the brand. I took them back and got a better set from a local dealer and the quality was way better. This might not make sense to you reading this but if an off brand is better and cheaper then it's a WIN

Need to stretch across a rope to pay. I understand 6 ft social but this is crazy. Person at counter too busy on personal phone to pay attention and ask if you need anything. No greeting either.
