I had such a nice experience at this hardware store. Kaleb was the sweetest and most helpful salesperson. I arrived to the store right before closing time and you would think he would be super annoyed by my questions and request for super heavy potting soil but nope, he was so polite and I had everything I needed in minutes. I was doing a bit of house painting and window repair and Simon F in Belfast did a fantastic job helping me with finding everything I needed. The glass panes for my windows were cut perfectly and I was provided the perfect paint to use in low temperatures. Thank you and I'll see you soon for my next home project.

I want to say how helpful Simon was at your Belfast location. I called asking for a product he new right away what I wanted. He said ask for Simon when you arrive. That is what I did and he took me right to the product and I was in and out in no time. That helped as I was in a rush. This store is always so helpful and friendly.

They are at ease with each other, and quick to bring you to the right spot in the store or give a tip on a good other solution maybe offered by someone else in town. Special shout out to Simon, the Pit Master, in Grilling & BBQ for steering us to just the right grill — not too big, not too fancy, just the right amount of accessorizing!

Simon helped me today with my lawnmower, a couple weeks earlier he helped me find a tool, and before that he helped me with getting some propane. The guy knows the store inside and out, and seems to wear a lot of different hats. I’m usually looking for him when I go in there and don’t know if they have what I’m looking for.

Wow. I was given a Big Green Egg barbecue grill by my husband for my birthday. We went to our local Aubuchon Ace Hardware in Belfast, Maine because we’d seen their huge display of Big Green Eggs and other barbecue equipment. We were helped by Simon, their barbecue expert. Simon is amazing. Not only is he an expert at using the Big Green Eggs, he loves to share his knowledge with his customers. He explained how to use the BGE barbecues along with a great many tips and tricks. Recounting his own experiences using his own BGE made my mouth water. We were sold. Before we knew it, Simon was here to deliver and install my/our new Big Green Egg. We got a size large BGE with a bundle that included lots of great accessories including a grill table, tools and even a big bag of charcoal. I couldn’t be happier with this entire purchase experience. And Simon was THE guy who made it so. If you’re looking for a new barbecue grill, you should go see Simon at Aubuchon’s.

Wonderful experience with Simon! He guided us through what the Green Egg is, does and will be for the next years to come. He’s very knowledgeable, gave us tips from his own experience and others on what to expect. He really made us feel that it was the right purchase for us. We went home very happy and a few hours later he came to deliver it with his coworker Glen. They patiently set up the Green Egg while explaining every single part and accessory. I was very impressed with their customer service especially having Simon share his expertise and experience. Can’t wait to start grilling!!!

All the staff were very friendly and The assistant manager Simon, was super knowledgeable and helpful hooking me up with a new ladder for a painting job. Would definitely recommend.

I am in and out of the Belfast store weekly, for house projects and general upkeep. Always great service and always an employee asking if I need help. Today Simon was the man and got me set up with an auger in the tool rental department. The tool worked great, and upon my departure Simon thanked me for my Military service. I just went to Aubuchon Ace in Belfast, Maine and was helped by the nicest, most patient employee, Simon. I had already made a fairly large purchase, got out to the car and loaded it and realized I forgot two other items. I went back in the store, and even though it was almost closing time, when I asked Simon if he could combine both sets of purchases because it would qualify for a coupon, he went the extra mile by going out to my car, bringing the items back in to redo the whole purchase, he also held the door for me both times, and couldn’t have been more of a gentleman about it. Then he carried things back out to my car for me! He was so incredibly nice and assured me it was no inconvenience at all. Simon would get more than 5 stars if there were more to rate with! I always love coming into that store because all the employees are so cheerful, down to earth and helpful. Keep up the great work!

Even with a long line, she kept things moving quickly while still taking the time to greet each customer with a smile.
