They are a hard-working, friendly crew. However, the Transfer Station really needs to start accepting "Mixed Fiberboard" again!!! Yes, we have All heard the excuse... "The contract costs too much to dispose of it"... Yet, other transfer stations accept it... People are showing up, with truck loads of the stuff, and no way to economically dispose. It's also a hardship, for many, that they close So early. Why can't there be even 1 day per week, that they stay open till ... Say, 5:00? Otherwise, they run a clean, orderly operation.
The people here are friendly and helpful. They make it easy to drop off trash and recycling. Just wish it didnt cost so much to drop trash off since my area doesnt get trash pick up and this is my only option.
Best place in town to take a leaky old faucet OR a dump run. It only smells bad when you're there, and you can come home with more than you took. They even pay YOU!! :)
