I stopped in Ellsworth's Napa for some small item, but I was so taken with the staff, I had to write a review. The two employees were very pleasant, helpful and professional, and they made a great impression.
I got a tire trouble here in elsworth and i came from illinois i ask if i could borrow a jack so i could change my tire the guy at the cashier didnt hesitate to let me borrow the jack even i bought parts from the other store beside them (advance auto parts) . Thank you man, you know who are may god bless you.
I was visiting from New York and got a flat tire while in Maine, it was Easter and we were trying to get the tire fixed so we could go home, they weren't able to fix the tire but Shane at NAPA was doing the most he could to help us out and even referred us to Jim's to get out tire repaired and we were able to get back on the road thanks to his connection!!
I was driving along in my Jeep and started getting the "your keyfob has left the vehicle" message. Dang! Stopped in at NAPA and not only did they have the right battery for my key fob, but they took the time to change it for me. How nice was that! Above and beyond as always - thank you!

Can’t begin to tell you how grateful we are for the service and support we received from Chris when we came in to replace an alternator on our Roadtrek as we were traveling through. His generosity of his knowledge and time was invaluable as my husband replace the alternator. Also his enthusiasm and warmth made a difficult job much easier as well. Thanks Chris! Also the other staff members were warm and helpful as well.
Came in to swap out some old wipers. Carter helped me— quick, courteous, professional. Even put the wipers on for me. You don’t get service like this anymore.
Big store, friendly employees. The parts are great quality for aftermarket parts, and the prices are sometimes less expensive than the "A" place down the street.
Usually love this store until one day I needed to grab something and checked the store hours on google and it said it closes at 7pm on a Tuesday. When I showed up at 6:12pm the store was closed and doors were locked. Will give more stars when you update your business hours.
Drove an hour to get some hydraulic repair parts because it said you guys are open online and that you updated your hours only 3 weeks ago. Low and behold you are not open til 7pm ANY day, let alone Sunday.
Not bad prices & they keep a lot of bolts/nuts that no one else carries, but the service here is slow and the workers know nothing 90% of the time if you have any questions about automotive stuff. 3/5 would recommend for anyone looking to get tools/parts you can’t find at the other places around town.

I was greeted immediately, then the associate went out to my car, collected my old parts and minutes later replaced with 3 new wiper blades and license plate screws. A service much appreciated by an old lady who wouldn't have had a clue. Thank you Jason S.

Needed simple lug nuts. They're system spit out a way shorter size. Guy sent me out to East coast performance on a goose chase instead of right next door to Advance. After Advance's system provided correct size, I was one short and took the box back to this place to match it...and they had it based on part number vice vehicle make/model. That was my last visit to this place. Third strike...
I suppose I should start by saying: I didn’t buy any auto parts here. Now let me explain...I got a flat tire. As in completely and totally done for. I was in Ellsworth getting my nails done for a wedding with my six year old; home is in Toronto and our home away from home was a 40 minutes drive away. My husband was on a boat somewhere with no phone service.
So. I go into the store and ask if they have a service department. The clerk, Adam, replies no but asks why. After hearing my story he comes outside to take a look and asks whether I have a jack and a spare and if I can find them. Then he replaces my tire by hand (with my daughter sitting in it!) and directed me to the tire store while his coworkers covered off customers inside so he could do so.
I don’t know anything about auto parts (see above) so don’t read my review for that. But I do know kindness and generosity of spirit and that I found in spades. Thank you Adam and team!
The guy at the counter "Mike" has a attitude issue, I don't appreciate being talked down to, I will shop at the other two automotive parts stores right down the road.
Also try not to have a hissy fit complaining about a guy not wanting your help on the phone in front of customers, I wouldn't want your help either with your horrible attitude.
