I have been going to Rigbys for years. He's reasonable. I have no complaints 😁 Still won't go any place else. He's a busy man, but still gets the job done 👍

After moving to Portland from a small town, when my older car started having trouble I was concerned at the cost of fixing it, and being up charged based just on location. Mike and his team have been an absolute BLESSING. They are fast, efficient, and extremely reasonably priced. Great hole in the wall repair shop. Will always recommend!

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. Fast workers who are good at what they do while offering great customer service. I’ll never bring my car to another shop as long as Rigby is open

I live close by and used them several times, and they go above and beyond. They seem to be very busy, so that is a factor, but I trust them to do the job.

This place is a bad place to bring your car in. I brought them my car because the kool-Aid tank was leaking. My AC was working perfectly fine before I brought it to them they purposely ruined my AC so they could get more money off me don’t trust this place.

My vehicle's transmission started failing yesterday while 3+ hours from home. The Ford dealership I called didn't have any openings to look at it, but they recommended Rigby Auto, so I called in, and they said they could look at it. While they couldn't do much about the issue, they determined that it would be safe to drive home and, in the end, didn't charge for the service.

Went away for a ski trip and my car wouldn't start. We had it towed to Rigby Auto. Mike was able to get us back on the road quickly for a very good price. Thanks again Mike!!

Mike is amazing, I can’t recommend this place enough! We were having some issues with our alternator late on a Saturday on a holiday weekend. Mike offered to check it out and replace it that same night which was just above and beyond. He went way out of his way for us and his whole team seemed really kind and genuine

Great service great owner never overcharged highly recommend if your looking for a permanent mechanic to go to when you need good quality service at a very fair price

We was from pa. Visiting maine. Our car broke down. Part if the frame broke that holds the back tires after driving some very rough roads coming into maine from vt. Never knew was rusted like that. Anyway monday, called up took it there in am would look at it. Tues came late afternoon would look at it , wed. No word. We leave sat to head back. Thurs almost closing calls says $2,000 to fix. Well not sure if it was going to be done on time we opted out. If theyd of told of maybe couple days sooner would of prob had them fix but if their work is anything like returning phone calls, i would not recommend them.

One of the very few shops in the area that would be willing to work on my vehicle with me supplying the parts, even went above and beyond to after with an extra issue! Owner is super friendly, I had a personally good experience, would recommend 🙏🏼

Just wanted to let everybody know he was supposed to fix my ball joint on the car and it wasn't it still had the old one on it and VIP put the sticker on it anyways and he won't even call me to at least give me some of that $260 he charge me that didn't even fix my car I drove it away shaking and it could have fell apart cuz it was the axle bars I would never give no stars on him now about ready to go to the authorities about it so sad

I drove 600 miles to Maine on vacation, only to have my front wheels start squealing. I called 5 other shops and nobody would answer my out of state area code. Rigby not only answered, but they squeezed me in even though they were crazy busy. Super quick and professional. Thanks for getting me back on the road for my vacation!

I had an A/C problem when traveling from Maine to Arizona. They diagnosed it and we decided to drive a different car and have it fixed next year. We were in a real time crunch and it was an aftermarket unit which would have required ordering parts and at least a 3 day delay. The people were great and the A/C technician really knew his stuff. Charge was very reasonable.

A huge thank you to everyone at Rigby Auto! We were an hour away from home attending a funeral today when our car started acting up. We got it on a machine and got the code to what was wrong which just confirmed what we had already thought the problem was. We showed up at Rigby at noon and told them our situation and that my fiance and I needed to be home at 4 for work with a long drive. They offered us a seat inside and Mike got the part we needed ordered and had it delivered within the hour and our car fixed 2 hours after we came in. We knew how big of a deal it was to be squeezed in like that and to be in and out on such a busy day and we are so appreciative. Very hospitable, friendly, and honest and most important, didn't break my bank account. Very fair pricing. They really aim to please their customers and treated us well. I don't think I have ever been this pleased at any mechanic's garage. Thanks again to everyone we saw and spoke to today, you were all amazing! I highly recommend this garage, they will take great care of you and your automobile.

Mike does great work and is fair. A lot better than many other auto repair places who charge a million dollars but still never get it fixed correctly.

They did absolutely amazing body work and would recommend anybody going to them and they are priced so reasonably affordable at the same time! Do not recommend going to Acme Autobody right by this business because they will over charge you and Rigby I am very sure does better work and for shorter time to have your vehicle there. For one dent on driver door Acme quoted 1100+ and to the vehicle for a week and Rigby charged below 500 and had it for 2 days! Not to mention it is also family owned business for years with amazing friendly, respectful employees. Definitely recommend 100000000 times over to have your Autobody work done here!!!

I personally have not used Rigby Auto Inc but my 76 year old mother has for years. Mike has went above and beyond for my mother's repairs on numerous vehicles. He always did right by her. I'm doing this review by proxy on my mother's behalf. She can't say enough good things about Rigby Auto Inc. Thank you for all great service throughout the years.

Mike has always been fair, honest and reliable. I bring all of my vehicles to Rigby Auto for all repairs. From a simple oil change to steering issues. Tow truck available. Reasonable rates. Inspection service. I recommend this business to my family and friends.

Mike is very knowledgeable, has smart techs and did me right in installing engine swap in my Miata. No need to go elsewhere.

I just had my car fixed at Rigby Auto... they were totally awesome I have an older car and not much money but they worked with me and I can not over express my gratitude for them

Lost power steering at 12:45pm on a Saturday and was stranded by the side of the road. The original shop we called was closing at 1pm so they called Mike and he came and towed us (including our dog) to Rigby Auto. Within 10 minutes of our arrival he had identified the problem and told us it would be fixed in an hour and a half. While we waited he told us of a place we could take our dog for a walk but we were welcome to wait in the waiting area. An hour and half later on the dot we were heading out with a fixed vehicle for a VERY fair price. Good customer service and knowledgeable staff.

Very unhappy with the body work done to our vehicle. After a couple weeks the paint is bumbling up in several places. The owner is not interested in making things right or even taking a look at the problem. Avoid this business!

Took my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Mike at rigbys, on a word of a friend? They did a horrible job I don't know if they really even fixed anything. They were supposed to give me a new valve cover gasket. I look under my hood screws just laying around not screwed into anything, one of the grommets coming off the top of the gasket broken and looks like they tried to glue it and the have it "rigged" together with a zip tie (who does this)...I am a single parent who struggles to make ends meet and I don't have any more money to get fixed what they broke. Also I had oil leaking on my rear axels, rotors and pads! Those didn't get done either because when I took it to get reinspected they told me it was still leaking so bad it was causing a puddle! I brought my jeep back (even though I didn't want to but I did just spend $450) and was told it wasn't leaking and that they "wiped" it off? Anyway! THIS IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS! I will never take another vehicle there not recommend them in fact I will take every opportunity to tell people to avoid this place at all costs (literally)!

Such a waste of time. We brought our car there to have something installed and it was not done correctly. When I called back to ask Mike to just fix it he told me he had done it for free , come get your car and hung up on me. Needless to say another $200 to fix his mistake and an untold amount of punitive damages for lost wages as the vehicle was a car for work. The only thing left now is small claims and The Maine AG's office to open up a formal complaint. STAY AWAY!
