My brother’s car battery died at a gas station, and no one wanted to help him until he met Steve by chance. Steve not only helped him figure out the problem but also gave him a ride to the auto shop and made sure everything with the car was fine! I’m honestly amazed at how much kindness and professionalism can fit into one person! He completely refused any reward! Thank you so much — the world needs more people like u, Steve!!

Steve was the kindest human that I've encountered in a very long time! He helped my college nephew when broken down on the highway and told him all the way to his college town. Not only that, he looked under the hood and was able to diagnose what was wrong and show my nephew how to fix it. He made sure that he was safe And could not have been nicer. I highly recommend Steve if you need a tow in the Freeport area. Even though it was late, he answered the phone and was able to come pick up my car in 20 minutes, and was very kind. All in all, he saved the day. Communicative, prompt, and very reasonably priced! Thank you Steve!!!

Such a great guy and I couldn’t recommend someone better or more friendly. Personally for me I locked my keys in my car in Freeport while my car was running. He answered right away, came to me, and had it unlocked within 20-25 minutes it was impressive. Also takes card which is super convenient. 10/10 experience!

I called these guys and they were one of only two tow truck services that answered there phone that day, however unfortunately there flat bed truck wasn't in service at the time and I wasn't able to do business with them. I'm sure it was just preventative maintenance the truck was under going and I don't think that is a direct reflection of the service they provide as a whole. I hope to.never have to call another tow truck again but if I should have to then I may perhaps give these guys another try

I ran into a major problem with a vehicle I was trying to ship from Maine to Utah and needed help in Maine (I'm in Utah.) Steve went above and beyond in helping me get things worked out, and getting a non-running vehicle where it needed to be and on the transport. He was not only more than fair with the price, he was kind and helpful and patient while I was panicking a bit about it all. I would recommend Steve and his company for any of your towing needs. He is a man of his word and does great work. And he is kind human. Seems like that is often hard to find these days.

SO HAPPY we texted Steve; we had a weird situation where we needed a tow to be on schedule for a barge to an island, but because the parking lot was full, it couldn't arrive "too early". We had hired a previous tow company who didn't get the memo about punctuality and we completely missed our barge reservation, and we're on the hook for the cost. Steve's Transport and Recovery made sure that didn't happen again. If you ever need a tow, I cannot recommend Steve highly enough!!!

Steve saved my bacon this week! My car was stuck in the mud and he had intended to have the day off to be with his grandson. But he pulled a Plan B out of his heart and made it happen. Good human with deep knowledge of his trade. Highly recommend.

After my insurance called dozens of places to find a tow that could get me out of a parking garage, they recommended I find a tow company on my own. I called Steve on Monday looking to tow my vehicle from home to another location a couple towns a way. I was absolutely unsure how I was going to get it moved in such short notice. Steve let me know he could come move it on Tuesday, the following day, after he completed another job he had. I'm sure Steve knew he could give me any price and I would have thought it was a normal price considering I am a female who knows nothing about anything car related, however the quote that he gave me was more than fair and far less than I was expecting, especially with short notice. I am extremely impressed with this company and I will be using him for all of my towing needs in the future. Thanks Steve.

Steve is wicked nice, and is a very genuine person. I called him years ago when AAA left me stranded, and he was very prompt, honest, and reasonable. I regrettably keep purchasing AAA, and always call him when they keep leaving me stranded. We have used him on other occasions too, like recently when we just needed 2 vehicles moved across town. Steve was very reasonable, and a pleasure to work with. I very HIGHLY recommend Steve's S.T.A.R towing! I can guarantee that you will not find any place better! Trust me, I know cause I've used them all, lol. And if he's not available, he will let u know who to call. Only one time was he ever unavailable, and the gentleman he recommended was also very nice. Once you use Steve's Transport And Recovery, you will never go anywhere else, he's the man! :^)

Locked my keys in my car at 7pm. I was on hold with AAA for half and hour before I just decided to search for a local guy. Steve had my car unlocked 25 minutes later. Painless and prompt. 10/10 best lock-my-keys-in-my-car experience

Steve is great! Our truck wouldn’t start and we were stuck in Freeport at 2am , no company’s we’re picking up , AAA wouldn’t help but first ring and Steve was ready to help us. He was very genuine and very helpful on getting the truck to start. I would definitely recommend him over anyone else.

We lost a wheel on a snowmobile trailer on the interstate at the start of our trip north. We called Steve with a sense of urgency because we were in the middle of a storm. He was on his way immediately to help us out to deliver the trailer to a garage for repair. He even helped us unload the snowmobiles at the garage without hesitation. Best towing experience bar none! Was stuck with a jammed e-brake and Steve quickly came to the rescue, on a Sunday morning when AAA wasn’t able to secure me a tow. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend!!!
