They need to really update their registers! It took longer to cash out then it did for me to shop! L

Recently had an issue with a return at my local store. The manager responded to my concerns promptly and went above and beyond to resolve the matter. Very pleased with the dedication, respect, and kindness shown to their customers. Well done Presque Isle team.

Somehow, someway they have what you are looking for if you look hard enough. Always surprised

I didn't go in for anything in particular, but I bought a bunch of stuff anyway!

I can't not pass through town without stopping. I gotta see what they got. You know the slogan.. should a bought it when you saw it. So I stop everytime I pass through town. I have bought everything here from furniture to power tools ?..clothes ..shoes.. Blackstone griddle grill.. pit boss smoker.. small mini bike ?. Bicycles for the kids.. punching bags.. holster for my pewpew.. fishing ? equipment.. my Favorite thing to buy here..IS the back corner with all the FABRIC .. The lady that cuts ✂️ my fake lather ..Love her!! They got a gem there. I do UPHOLSTERY..YES I'M STRAIGHT ?. I re upholster semi trucks. They treat me good ?. Love my local Mardens..

Always find something to buy there! Some unique stuff that you wouldn't find elsewhere.

Always love a visit to Mardens! Never know what I might stumble upon! The store is clean, organized best it can be with patrons digging through things looking for treasures! I could spend hours here!

Will never shop at the presque isle mardens again. Absolutely appalled at how they treat customers, the leadership in this building is failing at all levels. This was such a great store only a few months ago what happened.

Horrid experience at Mardens today. The management team at this store is so cruel to both their employees and customers the employees are trying to help. I want to shop somewhere the staff seems happy, and the negative energy surrounding this place means I no longer plan to shop at Marden's in the future. Learn how to treat people better if you want to keep a customer base and employees.

Store is covered with mouse feces and urine. Management is also very unprofessional. Have found food there multiple times that's been half eaten by a mouse or some other animal.

Marden's sometimes has some really great deals. Every once in a while, we roam around and look for some bargains. But it's becoming or feels like it's more disorganized lately.

Not a bad place to shop. Very disorganized tho (3 stars for this). The furniture they offer is way over priced being a "Surplus" store and my mouth hit the floor when I saw the price on a medium size pet bed for $119??? They're out of their gourd! Did they use 24k thread to make them? Maybe stuffed with diamonds? With that said, nope, not getting one. Good fabric selection especially for quilt making. Wish they offered a bigger variety not related to cotton quilts.

Cassandra in women’s apparel is an absolute doll and will gladly help you if she is able to that girl needs a promotion or a raise definitely a hard worker

If you're tired of Walmart or if you can't find something specific and you don't want to go on the internet, or if you're in town this is your place to an assortment of different helpful products. would call them the Amazon of the brick and mortar store. They have the most random items, yet they have your standard items as well. They're dedicated sections for shoes and clothing, cups ,plates , utensils, etc. So if you're looking for a bargain call mom as I said it's like Amazon but a brick and mortar store, they have a lot of what people would refer to as Overstock items from multiple different places. So you can go in there, and it'll be a backyard table and umbrella and chair set up, but they're only maybe two of them, for example. Basically, they have a lot of the normal things you would have in a store, but they also have a bunch of unique Overstock items, however if you have been a Presque Isle resident you already know. ?

This was our first visit to this Mardens. It was an extremely clean, well organized location, compared to the Houlton location. Prices were great, staff were friendly and selection was amazing!

Mardin's is a great place to find discounted items brand new name brands , they also have great furniture at good prices. And yes, everything under the Sun, that you'd never think you'd find there, but you do. And I'll tell you right now.Their jingle is so true, "Should have bought it when I saw it at mardins" Because I have made the mistake of procrastinating and not getting something and then literally turning around to go back and get it and it's been gone. I mostly shop at the store in Houlton, And the staff there is wonderful. You're looking for something to do?Take a trip to mardin's always a good time

I would like to express to you my experience in your store in presque. I was greeted by a very pleasant lady named Tina at the service desk she was very helpful and she knew what she was doing.She made my return fast and complete should have more workers smile and pleasant like her. Also alady named Tammy was also pleasent.I hope when I'm back in they are there it's a wonderful thing to have someone greet you with a beautiful smile also I was in presque Isle and a cashier on 3 was leading over the heater I lookedasked if she was open and she I.am..not feeling well I stated that's ok I will to another one and I went to number 2 a very pleasant man I asked.is Tammy or Tina working he said I believe Tammy in a meeting and Tina is on break.i said it's a pleasure to come here when they are here..I said I believe 3 needs to go home ...keep.up.tje great jo. I had a very miraculous experience with a cashier named Kathryn. She was very kind and helpful and made my day a 10/10. She reminded a lot of granddaughter. I will never forget this experience; as those 5 minutes spent with her has changed my life completely. She is so lovely???.

Marden's is a great place to shop. It almost has everything you could ever want or need. Food, clothing for all sizes and shapes, toys, material, storage solutions, bedding, and so much more. Prices are great! And if you find something make sure you buy it cause it will not be there tomorrow.

Have to walk around to see what's available as it changes often. They buy up merchandise from retailers that are closing so selections vary. I've been told they offer the best choices and prices on fabric. Clothing is interesting to go through because you never know what treasure you may find that fits

Marden's is okay but not really my cup of tea. If you find something there you want or need, the price is very good. But you don't always find what you want. Case in point - they have a very large selection of men's leather gloves. But in the several types I was interested, they did not have my size. I wandered all of the aisles but didn't find anything else I wanted. On the other hand, I know a number of people who simply love Marden's. So it's worth a look to see if they have what you need.

Nice crew helpful when you need them. Sometimes they are hard to find because they are busy. Nice deals to be had for sure. Seems unorganized and doesnt seem like much cleaning is ever done there. But it is essentially a giant wharehouse type setting no real complaints. Like their motto buy it whe. You see it.

I just love Marden's. The customer service could be better though. They could be more organized but all in all I like going there. I got an amazing response from Marden's that was genuine and very well stated. I will always return to them and give them my patronage. If ever you have an issue there make sure and let them know in manner that is respectful and gracious. They will come back the same and that is why I am changing my rating now but only editing my original post. Thank you very much.

Pricing can be weird at times. Some things simply seem to high at times. However they have so much that is more than reasonably priced. I always find some great deals at the PI store. Staff is friendly But very busy store.

Mardens always has something I want....I dont always need it.They have great prices on clothing especially. And today I found name brand breast pumps( I definately don't need them but I am a lactation consultant so...)at a great price.

Awesome store. Great discounted items for sale there. And as their motto goes "you should have bought it when you saw it at Mardens"...is totally true. Lol. Because I've gone in one day and saw something and then a couple days later its gone the next time I visit.

I'm surprised at all the good reviews here. Family and friends? I don't know. Made a call to ask about a refund on a small purchase. The product is straight up useless. The lady who answered the phone was rather rude. She unnecessarily, before hearing my proposal, transferred me to a manager, but I gave up waiting on that. I called back, and to preface my call explained that I had been transferred to a manager, but couldn't wait any longer and thought she could probably answer my questions. But she went off on me, raising her voice to me, telling me that the manager isn't there just to take my calls, he had more important things to do.. I never thought he was and never said so, and didn't dispute her comments even a little. After blasting me with that nonsense she out-rightly hung up on me. Rude, rude, rude. Do we actually need this kind of business here in Presque Isle?? I'm thinking we don't. I won't go there any more and neither will anyone in my family. Next: Everybody else.
