Impact Auto: where professionalism goes to die. Bad communication, worse attitude, and zero concern for the customer. If you’re already having a rough day, this company will make sure it stays that way.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this experience was too upsetting to stay quiet about. After my accident I was already upset, shaken and just trying to pick up the pieces. Instead of helping or showing even basic decency, Impact Auto made everything so much worse. They lied to me about the status of my vehicle and refused to release my personal belongings, even though Maine state law clearly says they have no right to keep them. I even looked up the statute and cited this maine law for them, but to no avail. All I got was more lies, more disrespect, indifference, and utter ignorance at a time when I was already vulnerable and exhausted. No one deserves to be lied to, humiliated or ignored when they're just trying to recover from an accident. The lack of empathy and sheer unprofessionalism I encountered here was shocking. What should have been a simple, humane process turned into days of unnecessary stress and frustration. If you ever find yourself in a difficult situation and need a company that's honest, transparent, and passionate, I strongly suggest going anywhere else. This experience left a lasting impression - and not the kind any business should want attached to its name.

Great shop. Very clean and friendly.

Probably wouldn’t use them again. Customer service wasn’t great. Left car at shop after I struck a deer. Took well over 30 days to get parts and repair. Was told I was to pay for rental fees myself ( after 30 day insurance coverage) and could not provide estimate of when car would get repaired. Returned rental to them early so avoid extra charges. Had to insure and register my plow truck to get to work. Plow truck broke down. Had to register dirt bike to take to work instead. When I payed the bill I was told extra rental charges were dropped, which was good but had he let me know this prior to dropping rental off I wouldn’t have registered and insured other transportation. Hood and fender gap is uneven on one side. Detail job was nice! New receptionist was very polite. Still wasn’t enough to win my business in the future. Seemed like he cared about my money but not me.

Well we broke down at freshies in P.I and needed a tow.Called Impact .Brandon answers and they have a truck there in 10 mins and this was right at rush hour .Car needed ignition to be fixed as well .Car got towed to impact.Brandon tracked down parts stayed in communication the whole time .Had car back in 3 days fixed and done right .His Mechanic was great .The place is immaculate, trucks are mint .Thats shows to us they care .Professional all the way .Great shop ,Great Crew ,Owner that loves what he does .Thanks Again Impact Crew .We will be back 100 percent .Drive by any shops take a look .Compare .You can judge a business by its cover .This place’s screams confidence.Our 2000 Mercury Sable deserves to be happy in a clean shop .Betty is fussy and picky .Hey she is 25 this year ..Lol .God Bless & Peace Jeff & Delia

Called for a flat tire swap over about 2 miles from their shop on a sunday morning. Was told they don't do flats just towing. Website says otherwise. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE "If you need of towing, winching, jump start, flat tire change, emergency fuel delivery, or locksmith services call us for 24-hour roadside assistance."

The person in charge who is male was very rude on the phone and I was told I'd get a call back after an inspection to get the parts replaced or fixed. I had to call back three times being told that they would call me back each time and I waited 2 weeks with no call back while my car continues to get worse. Although a lady who answered the phone one time was very nice and told me that I would receive a call back and yet again I never got a call back. There seems to be much dishonesty with this business and people working for them as I was told my vehicle could be fixed and I'd get a call back with an appointment and never did. I would go somewhere else where they value their customers more. I do work in the customer service field and I have to say good customer service has declined significantly this last decade. As you can see my reviews, I give good reviews when it is earned and bad reviews in the same way. I just moved to the area and was trying to get my mother's car fixed for her and this company just kept telling me they'd call me and never would instead of being honest. If they didn't want to work on my car they could have just told me so I could have looked somewhere else to get my mother's car fixed for her. Finding a way to justify why they can't treat their customers with respect and honesty is very poor service to me. Now I'm driving 2 hours just to have two rear shocks replaced in my home town I moved here from instead of having a local shop here in presque Isle do the work. I guess the travel is worth the good customer service instead of dealing with dishonesty and rudeness

Easy to do business with. Honest, professional and great service.

They will tow your vehicle and then drive their prices up. Or ignore you all together. Then he’ll sell your vehicle. This is how he makes his money.

I highly recommend Impact Auto! I was involved in an accident that caused several thousand dollars worth of damage to my CR-V. After a call to Brent, Eric arrived quickly with the tow truck. I was devastated about the damage because my vehicle is only 2 years old and still felt brand new. Impact Auto assured me that my vehicle would be restored completely, and they didn’t disappoint! My CR-V looks brand new again! Customer service is top notch! I’ll recommend Impact Auto every chance I get.

Just had collision repair done on our SUV. Very responsive when the accident occurred and promptly arrived at site to tow the vehicle. Set us up with a very clean rental with no problems. Work done was top notch and the vehicle came back to us in showroom condition. Great business to work with. My wife and I highly recommend!

Horrible customer service. Refused to allow payment to get the car out before getting car trailer to haul the car out.

Dennis was very helpful! We were feeling awful about our wreck, no injuries, and he made it easy for us to collect our things from our rv, and he worked with our insurance to get our claim handled.

I was used this company they are very expensive make ask them before started he avoid my question about price He can fixed on the road but he want to tow my truck to his shop for 0.8 mile he charge me 750. $ and he fixed brake chamber not the reason to losing air the main reason airbages even I told him to check it he told all of them ok but not and he charge me 5 hour laber to change chamber,to fixed chamber take not more than houre He charge me 1662.39$ for nothing I’m not recommended at all be careful be careful ,very expensive

Well met the owner in a interesting way .They towed our car.But even thou it could have gone real bad and been real negative it turned positive and respectful ,not by anyone giving in but each talking and listening to each other’s point of view .That’s why I would go back in heart beat. I visited this outfit for a simple car door trim fix and was given a quote. Few weeks after, I went for the actual fix and upon payment, I was given a different bill. I pointed this out and was told it’s a variance in the item price. Upon getting home, I decided to verify and realized that the price on the item replaced and labor charge were both inflated. I called the Manager of this establishment to register my displeasure because simple courtesy demands that I be informed of a change in price before rendering a service and not just blindsided. To my utmost surprise, the manager was rude to me on phone and dropped the call on me. This was complete service failure and totally unprofessional! I’m glad you didn’t deny your actions as stated above. Maybe if you did check your payments, you will know the customers you work for. A few weeks ago I hit a deer and on a recommendation I went to impact. The work was awesome and the people there went above and beyond with the rental service. Very happy with them and plan on going back again since my mechanic of ten years retired. thanks again.
