How would an old fuel pump be expensive than a new one ??¿ and when I ask them if they are sure that , thats the correct pricing, they go like mmm' eheee. Proud cashiers who are just vomiting pride . Employees here have had an attitude this days and im finding alternatives.

The place had a lot of vehicle choices, but what's really stupid is their pricing chart. I went there to find some parts that I needed and ended up finding tail lights in good condition so I figured I would get them since it's an older vehicle. Upon checking out I explained to the lady that it was a tail light assembly. They wanted to charge extra for freaking bulbs. I'm not even joking, why would you pay for used bulbs when you can get brand new ones from Walmart for the same price. The bulbs should of been part of the tail light assembly, hence the word assembly. Why would you even charge for bulbs that you don't know if they work or how long they'll work for.

This morning I went to buy a battery for my wife's car. I took in a reconditioned battery and I told Mrs. Claudette that it had warranty she asked me for a receipt and I told her I did not have one. I told her ok I will get another one and she discriminated me and she is not nice she fights with all her clients. I am just a client and I have the rights to claim as a client and she discriminated me and offered to get me band over a right I have. Remember pull a part need clients to make business. We need someone to be attentive to the clients needs but she fights with everyone not only me.

I was there to pull an engine. FYI the guys who operate the fork lifts are great. The people at the counter, at least who I deal with, worked with me to get a good deal on my engine. No combative attitude, no hostility even though it's hot & we all out of breath. Only thing I wish is if they catch someone hiding a wheel from a good set, they make them put it back or find the wheel & return it so it does not hold up a sale or the next person can buy the set. There is no payment plan @pull a part. Besides that good experience.

This place is an absolute joke. They charge you extra for the lightbulbs that are half burned out when purchasing an entire tailight assembly.

Korsica and Ashley we’re extremely helpful getting me a battery for my car. I had trouble finding the right battery, but they made sure I was satisfied with my purchase of a used battery. They were seemingly running the front counter by themselves and helping other clerks process orders. I bought a 2007 Mazda6 a year and a half ago with over 200,000 miles on it and the battery has been the most expensive purchase so far. Excellent customer service and I’ll probably be back to buy another car from them.

At 67, it's tough to beat the heat. My 17 year-old son and I drove 45 miles for a part for our 06 Tribute. What we needed was available, so we got to work in the 100+° heat factor weather. Upon completion, we returned to the purchase area and I began feeling weak and a bit exhausted. One employee got a fan, another offered water, and both, along with a third employee, all kept an eye on me. This was a wonderful experience, from the start. We were allowed, after paying admission, to return with tools. The employees, all of them were quite courteous, and during my exhausted period, displayed a compassionate demeanor. After paying, while my son was placing our purchase in the vehicle, PeeWee, an employee for over 5 years, checked on me again and discussed our purchase and my son's happiness finding the part. Because of the professionalism and caring disposition of all, we'll definitely return.

Visited Pull a Part to obtain one hood latch and cables, after removing items went to counter cashier quote eighty dollars. I ask to speak to manager and he came out after 10 minutes of waiting (which his office was 12 feet away) and I asked why so much and he said (that they price). So I told the cashier- that's alright and put them in the recycle bin outside, returned 10 second's later, and now my 8mm combination wrench and flat screw was missing. Ask cashier about it and no-one know's anything. After they look around my screw driver came up. Then on top of that, I were able to obtain the parts for less (NEW) for less.

The website and good both say the place opens at 8 on Sundays. It’s 8:30 right now and no one has showed up to let anyone in.

I want to start off by thanking these two gentlemen, Luke and Chris. I needed two wheels for my 06' Jeep Grand Cherokee and they were a huge help yesterday and again today when i returned with the core. They were very professional, excellent communications with them while there at the yard, and they made themselves very accessible. It was one of the most pleasurable salvage yard experiences that i have had in my entire 68 years of existence and not to mention how easy it was to move around this huge salvage yard. In other words, Luke and Chris along with all their staff and co-workers made for a very memorable salvage yard experience among the both of the being very busy. The ease in which i was being helped in the salvage yard and in the cashier's area was second to none. I would strongly recommend the Baton Rouge "Pull-A-Part" store on Greenwell Springs road location to both the professional, DIY'ers and the day-to-day novice mechanics. Go to "Pull-A-Part", get what you need at a great price, and get it done!!!!

Baton rouge pull-a-part has the worst customer service I've ever had at any location. The attitudes there are terrible. My most recent visit there has made me decide to never go there again. I'd rather drive to Jackson, Mobile, or even Tennessee than go there. If you don't like your job, go somewhere you like. It's not ok to treat people like they do for no reason as soon as they open. They also got some shady stuff going on but I won't get into that. Hopefully corporate takes care of it.

I had to share this review and my story. I want to thank Drake that works at the Pull A Part in Baton Rouge for all his help, this guy went out of his way to help me. He even stayed an hour later from when he was supposed to clock out to be sure that I was takin care of. I had been without a vehicle for about 6 months due to a blown head gasket. I got an engine off of eBay and it was no good and I spend a lot of money. I’m a father and have a family that depends on me and we needed a vehicle very bad. I seen this engine come up and started pulling it Saturday. I got heat exhaustion working in 100+ temperatures all day. I started throwing up and got very sick and couldn’t finish pulling it. I went back on the Sunday and the same thing happens, 100+ temperatures working all day in the heat. An employee there named Drake, seen my condition and he brought me a popsicle and two cold waters, which I was so grateful for. I had already finished all my water and Gatorades I initially brought because of the heat. He said he would be sure I got my engine before he clocked out that day. He stayed about an hour after he was supposed to leave and we got it pulled and on my truck and trailer. I wouldn’t have been able to get it if it wasn’t for him. This world needs more people in it like this guy. Thanks Drake, you da man!

When you purchase something and then pay the labor costs for them to remove it, it shouldn't be too much to ask that they not damage it in the process! Had to buy a transmission for my explorer, so I went and picked out what I needed. Then, when I went to pick it up, two employees loaded it into my vehicle. At NO point did anyone mention that they DESTROYED the underside pan and internal components when they removed it. I got it home, and as soon as I flipped it on its side to check the plug, the gouge was extensive. When you pay for a product and pay the asked price for labor, it's unacceptable to receive an item in this condition!

The clerks at the Greenwell Springs Pull A. Part were very helpful and accommodating. DeKendra and another associate (I am not sure of her name~ she wears braces) we knowledge and made sure I selected the correct dash pad. DeKendra made sure I was cool and comfortable by sharing her fan while we worked out the paperwork and payment.
