I haven't needed to visit here often. I live nearby and I know NAPA sells quality parts. I have always had excellent service at this location. Several years ago when a hurricane was approaching this store was the only one open and I got a spark plug for my generator.
Jay was amazing to work with, I'm a IL dealer needed get a part for a customer in Baton Rouge. He made sure part was correct before we ordered and delivered to my customer himself in person. Great guy , excellent customer service. If you need parts see Jay they are truly parts professionals
I went in for a part. I gave the part number to the guy at the register. He said we do not have it in stock (even though the website said they did) he explained that, that isn’t always accurate. I asked if any of their other locations may have had it. he “searched” and said no, but we can get you one here in 3-6 days. I needed that part asap so I declined. I called the store right down the road on airline and he said they had PLENTY.
When I visit NAPA in person to inquire on a part and I'm told it is available at another location, and it can be transferred and at their location (Port Allen) in the morning around 9AM, 10AM at the latest, and I agree and offer to pay for it, I expect it to be there. Otherwise it's a waste of everyone's time and a big inconvenience. It is common practice for NAPA to transfer inventory by the next day, Ive purchased parts that way in the past and I'm grateful for the option. When I had not received a call, I called them instead at 11:00 AM and was told by the gentleman that answered the phone that the order does not exist. When I provided more details about the transaction the day before including a description of the employee that placed the order, his response was "that explains it". If this employee has a history of making errors it may be a good idea that he no longer be trusted with customer service transactions. In hindsight I could have gone to the other location the day before, obtained the part and installed it before 9AM the next morning. I'm not in the auto repair business, this was my personal vehicle. I would hate to rely on such incompetence if I were running a business and made commitments to my customers.
Went to several auto parts places and finally they had what I needed. The kind and helpful gentleman found it quickly and was such a nice person, thanks NAPA!
horrible service , ordered part on a tuesday was told it would arrive friday , went there saturday and they tell me it had no even been shipped and they don't know why no one checked , they guy was looking at me like I was in his way and taking up his time , what do you want to do , get a refund or what , wheres your credit card , if i could give zero stars i would

Awful customer service, ALL employees playing on the cell phones while im trying to replace battery. Sales clerk was RUDE and gave 1 or 2 word answers... NOT a customer friendly environment, bunch of guys who has a ‘don’t wanna be at work ‘ attitude!.. THIS IS THE FIRST REVEW I HAVE EVER WRITTEN!.. so yes it was bad!
Great knowledgeable staff and most of the time they always have what I need. If not they can get same day and overnight by the worst. Prices very competitive and quality is great.
