Took my car in for new tires and an alignment. From my initial phone conversation to the follow up call I received when he was checking to see how the car was driving (and also casually mention that he went ahead and knocked out the two small dents in my bumper), This was one of the most positive experiences I have every had with a mechanic and I am thrilled I have found someone I feel I can really trust. He even noticed my inspection sticker was expired and took care of it. In a world where we can feel customer service is dead, Keith restored my faith that there are still people out there that care.

I have been having problems my air-conditioning for over a month now and fire stone was overcharging me and was not given me a clear answer of what was wrong. I brought it to Mr. Keith he fixed it within one day and gave me a clear understanding of what he was doing. The entire experience was very quick and to the point, but also informative and seem like he cared about fixing my car. Best automotive place in Baton Rouge hands-down.
I have used these guy in the past and they have made repairs for much cheaper than other places quote. I just had to have them clean up after the place that changed my oil and didn't properly reinstall the skid plate under the oil pan. I have had terrible luck with other mechanics recently and feel like I can trust these guys to fix what others screw up.
Keith and the team are the most generous and knowledgeable mechanic group I have ever used! So thankful for their fast work and simple explanations. Best car shop in Baton Rouge hands down.
As long as I've lived in Baton Rouge (31 Years to be exact) I never knew about this place and it's great! Very helpful, nice prices. Just an overall great Auto Shop.
I recommend hiring a new office person. The woman in the office is extremely rude and has no customer service skills.
I'm changing my review because to 5 star because the owner is awesome and dedicated to his customers. However that lady still needs to be replaced.
We have 3 company vehicles we put a lot of miles on & need regular repairs. We were bringing our vehicles to Keith’s for months, spending thousands. Their work is good & the turnaround is fast. They are somewhat overpriced, However dealing with the receptionist, karlene, is a nightmare. It’s almost like she’s trying to talk you out of doing business with them. And when i pointed this out to Keith he took up for her. She must be his girlfriend or daughter, there is some relationship there. Either way, I would not recommend dealing with them bc they have zero customer service to a returning customer that spends thousands, monthly.
Called them with the referral from Royal Nissan and the lady that answered the phone is extremely rude kept cutting me off with a attitude when trying to explain my situation. Not a place I would bring anything for repairs and Royal Nissan really needs to evaluate who the recommend. Terrible attitude
I really enjoyed my experience with Keith’s Auto. I talked on the phone with a nice lady who was borderline insulting my intelligence and gave me one time slot for the whole week to drop off the car. I needed a simple oil change and also needed to check the transmission fluid due to a concern I had with the gears shifting. Well, after being forced to pre-authorize a minimum payment of $200, I was greeted with a total of $245 just for the oil change and no work done to the transmission. Parts and labor for a 7 quart oil change was $105, and $110 for a basic diagnostic of the transmission. When I asked about the breakdown of everything, I was promptly rushed to sign the printed receipt. Oh and they didn’t top off the washer fluid which is supposed to be done per the notes in the oil change description. Lovely folks here at Keith’s, would definitely maybe come back when I have an extra $500 to blow.
The technicians, staff and ownership at Keith's is absolutely the best in town. They are knowledgeable, honest, and reasonably priced. I've been a customer of their's for years. The only reason to go elsewhere would be to make a factory warranty claim. I'd give them a sixth star, if I could.
Better price than the dealership quote and quicker turn around time. They fixed what I came for, and on the test drive took it to the state inspection place for me and had it inspected since it was expired...saving me time and hassle. Keith is friendly and informative, and Karlene at the front desk is welcoming. I overheard her saying the mechanics stay with the company for years because they are treated well. Customers are treated well, too.
I'll always take my cars here in the future. The local dealership reset my trouble light and told me that if it came back on it would cost $4,900 and require cylinder head replacements. This sounded totally bogus so I took it to Keith's automotive. They discovered that an oil leak was causing a failure in an oxygen sensor. He fixed the sensors, leaks and did some standard maintenance - all for 15% of the cost of the ridiculous estimate from the dealership. I'm a customer for life.
If you want a thorough repair and done right the first time, take your vehicle to Keith’s Auto. I was aware of other problems with my Truck and took the truck in for a fuel pump. They replaced the fuel pump and made me aware of the brakes and lights also. They repaired my vehicle down to the last minor details. They have a customer for life now. Thanks Al and Keith
Keith and his staff are incredible. Not only are the prices great, but Keith goes above and beyond with his maintenance. We feel like friends of his, and trust him and his staff to take care of us. Truly the best in Baton Rouge!
OMG, this place is great.
They were quick to answer when I called and gave me very realistic expectations. When I arrived they gave me a further run down as to what to expect with time and cost.
They then blew all of my expectations away. They had my problem identified and fixed almost as soon as I sat down. They then gave my car a once over to be sure it was good to go before sending me out. I was anticipating waiting a week and paying $$$, but that was not the case.
My situation is a bit unusual, but I will certainly trust my car to them again in the future.
My husband and I were referred to Keith's Automotive a few years ago after a local car dealership had my Chevy truck in for service 5 times and could not diagnose the problem. After talking with Keith about the truck's symptoms, he pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone. Very knowledgeable, friendly and honest service, from the front desk to the service area. We continue to use Keith's Automotive and highly recommend this business.

My family has been using Keith's for 7 years. They do a great job for us, are always polite and very helpful. Our goal is to maintain our vehicles to get as many years out of them as possible. We'll replace them when it's no longer worth putting money into them. Keith always give us advice on what he thinks in our best interest , not what is best for his pocket book. I trust his advice and highly recommend him.
We've been using Keith and his crew for many years now. They are always very attentive to us, always finding the best way to save us money and get our cars in working condition. He even rescued our old mother last weekend when we couldn't find anybody else to help and he adjusted our generator so it would work through the hurricane season... can't say enough good things about this company.
I have NEVER been called a "liar" by the owner of a business until I met Keith of Keith's Auto Repair.
Quoted almost $1000 to replace a fuel pump on a 17 year old Ford, I actually was yelled at by a mechanic when I asked why he was trying to sell me a NEW OEM fuel pump for $500 when the car wasn't worth it. When I found an after market part for $113 he said, "We'll order it and only charge you $190 for it." i was looking at the O'Reilly web page and had the apparent "nerve" to ask why they'd charge me near double retail for a part they were going to be able to buy for wholesale!
At the end of the day it was cheaper to pay them the $100 they charged me for an "estimate" - basically I told them I needed a new fuel pump and they charged me $100 for "confirming" that "Yep, you need a new fuel pump," and to pay $75 to have the car towed to another shop that would do everything, including parts, for less than $500.
When I tried to speak to the owner about the reason I was doing something so drastic as towning the car to another shop, he called me a liar to my face.
These people are cheats and liars. They'll do everything they can to rip you off. DO NOT USE.
