I was very dissatisfied with the service as i sat for 10 hours for a control arm that I brought myself and I paid for a shock and strut...a part that I didn't come there for...I found out at closing time it was the wrong part...no thorough communication through out the day....I lost a day off for basically nothing and felt like they wanted my money so they can go home...if they did not know what they were doing ..they should'nt have touched my truck and felt like the job was not done as now my truck has a lean to the left on the driver side as opposed to before I came in...my truck didn't have a lean....will not be returning at all....I don't care if my bicycle tire is flat...10/11/25.... I returned back to the store/shop....I arrived at 8:00am and the manager said that none of her employees had showed up so I waited until the employees showed up at 10:00 am...upon entering the store after the employees finally arrived...I explained to them about the lean on my truck...the manager immediately she started raising her voice saying we told you you need this particular part...I said for her to lower her voice...but I was in the store for about 5 minutes and I don't know what her issue was...I explained I didn't have that lean when I brought my truck in on 09/13/25..very unprofessional...don't want her to lose her job...but she might want to leave her problems at home...they forgot they put a shock and/or strut on my truck at my last visit and I found out that the problem they're saying I have is not the problem...very unprofessional...on 10/09/25...I talked to a representative from Munro and he informed to return to the store to get the problem resolved and I got grilled from her about something that say I needed and not taking my issue which was the lean on my truck into consideration...would like to talk to the owner or a person in a higher position because you have a decent company but that manager at this location needs to leave her personal issues at her home because I refuse to let her step out of character with me...not my fault her employees can't show up on time....they will not get my business ever again from me and will not recommend that particular location to anyone. Not to mention the Munro representative stated the repair would have been free...which was fine but they're not admitting that they messed up my truck and telling me that I would have to buy a part....why...they messed it up...they should pay for it...they didnt want to be accountable for their mistakes....paid the company a little over $1700 for parts and labor to get my truck back at A-1...and I'm still having problems and I'm not
spending another dime with the company until a RESOLUTION is resolved and honored.
DO NOT GO HERE. Go down the street to Chabills. I tried this place once more after it was bought out by Tire Choice and it was fine. However this will be my last experience here. The manager Merris told me I needed to replace a tire as I picked up a nail too close to the wall. That’s fine I’ll get two tires I’m supposed to buy tires in pairs! She quoted me a range of prices I selected something in the middle range. She told me the tires would be delivered and installed tomorrow (this was Tuesday so delivery and installation Wednesday.) She also mentioned she only had one tech for the day as the other guy scheduled called in sick. I understand it sucks being shorthanded. When I called Wednesday to check no one answered the phone at all, it was well after 9am so I just went by. The guy working the front seemed to just be setting up. The lights weren’t on etc and he said “my worker just got here so I’m only now setting up the office” which is cool it sucks being shorthanded…again. He didn’t know if my tires had been delivered and had to ask ME which tires were mine. I told him “I assumed you guys would have that information I only remember the price” I asked him to call if he got any updates but I didn’t expect to (and didn’t) hear back.
When I called the NEXT day (Thursday) Manager Merris was back behind the desk and I was hopeful this would mean my issue would be resolved, however SHE also didn’t know which tires she had ordered for me and said that none existed at the price point we had previously spoken about.
At this point I just wanted to wash my hands of it and went to get my car. Seems like some more staff and managerial support might help this location. Until then

The young female that I dealt with today is a bad combination of dumb and rude. My lawnmower tire has been there for four days and I learned this morning that they can’t do anything to fix it. They could’ve just never accepted the tire in the first place since they don’t work on lawnmower tires. The first employee was nice but uninformed about their shop’s limitations.
Highly recommend choosing Tire choice on Staring in Baton Rouge. They were so helpful, despite being understaffed and overworked. They did the best they could to accommodate and give as much individual attention to each customer as they could. Merris also went the extra mile to help me with my warranty company approving the new tire on my car and covering it.
Tire Choice will tell you lies about your vehicle and try to con you into financing. They lied to me about all that was wrong with my vehicle. They tired to charge me $3999 and push me into financing it. When it was Allied it was a trusted reliable place now it's not.
I was defrauded and overcharged by tire choice. I am giving five stars because their program most likely screens and does not post one star reviews. I paid for one brand. They installed a different brand tire. They padded the bill
Shout out to Paul the manager and Edward and most importantly the mechanic Jeff they really helped me out with my truck! Its always good customer service when I come here and also they are very good at what they do I always drive off satisfied!
This place is AWFUL. My peer who is also a college student came here for her standard maintenance February 28th. There was no issues prior to the changing of management in November 2024. However with the new management, Antonio Jiminez (goes by tony) , this place is TERRIBLE. They dropped my friends car 6 feet high. They made her pay $600 for brakes and oil change before informing her that her car was damaged due to negligence on their part. It starts to make me wonder if this negligence is directly tied to the smell of marijuana throughout the shop. How could you make someone pay for services and then tell them “Sorry we crashed your car, we can’t do anything about it. Call corporate.” She now has a totaled car. She has no means of transport.
I would first like to preface that this place is under new management and prior to this visit, under other management I have had no issues:
I am writing to you with deep frustration, shock, and profound disappointment regarding the absolutely deplorable experience I endured at your establishment on February 28, 2025. I had taken my car to Tire Choice for an oil change and brake job, expecting nothing more than a routine service. What I encountered instead was an unimaginable nightmare, and it is with great sorrow that I must demand accountability for the immense emotional and financial damage caused by your negligence.
After enduring over four hours of waiting for my vehicle, I was finally brought to the counter to pay the bill. I had purchased a Groupon that reduced the cost of the oil change, and paid $503 in cash for the remaining balance. At this point, I was still unaware of the catastrophic series of events that had occurred behind closed doors. When I asked for my keys, the store manager, Antonio S. Jimenez, informed me that he needed to speak with me outside. It was then that I was confronted with the shocking reality of the situation: my car had been damaged, severely and irreparably, when it was allowed to reverse and crash into poles and a wall.
The emotional turmoil of that moment was devastating. I was not only blindsided by the news of the damage, but I was also informed by Antonio that this incident had been intentionally concealed from me until after I paid, under explicit instructions from his superior, Shane Langston (district manager). My trust in your company had already been shattered, but the revelation that you had deliberately withheld such critical information added insult to injury. When I spoke directly with Shane Langston, he callously dismissed my concerns and stated that I was still responsible for the payment, despite the fact that I could no longer even drive my car due to the extensive damage. Through all of this, no one once issued an apology, they simply referred me to their corporate 1-800 number and dismissed any further questions I had regarding what happened.
In the days following, I filed a claim through Monro Inc.'s insurance provider, Travelers, only to learn that my car was deemed a total loss. The emotional and financial toll this has taken on me is immeasurable. I have been left with a damaged vehicle, a broken spirit, and the very real consequences of your establishment’s complete disregard for basic safety protocols and customer care!
So much for services rendered on a vehicle you ruined!
Had a blowout on the interstate and called several places to find a tire. These guys were extremely helpful in finding what we needed and getting our truck repaired quickly!
Avoid this place at all costs!!!
My wife dropped her car off here first thing in the morning around 8am. She goes to pick it up at 6pm and they say everything is good. She asks questions about who worked on the car and they are vague, but they acknowledge that the old tires were bad and there were wires showing on them and it was good that she was getting four new tires.
After charging my wife $200 to install 4 new tires, and that was just for the installation, they gave her the receipt and keys to drive away, and she went outside to discover they had not installed any of the tires, even though they said they did. When she goes back inside, they "remembered" to tell her they broke her rim key earlier in the day but they couldn't bother to call her. This is already ridiculous, but wait it gets better.
She had a second one in the trunk, so she gave it to them and they left the wrench torqued up so high it broke the second one too. She had to leave with no tires and no money back because they were closing. If i'm lying, i'm flying.
They want her to go buy another rim key from BMW, and then bring it back to them tomorrow to try again. Why would she do that? So you can break a third one?? COMPLETE AMATEURS !!
I'm calling the corporate office in New York. This clown show is owned by Monro Inc. We are going to see what they are made of and if they stand by their service and make this right or not.

I had a groupon voucher for alignment and tire balancing, the front desk asked for the voucher and entered the details of it to the system. Had me waiting there for about an hour to do the service and after 1 hour waiting, they said we won’t do the service for you unless you want us to change your struts as well! This is a total scam, using my voucher and also not providing service. Worst experience ever in a tire shop! This was first time going to Tire Choice and what they did definitely made it the last time as well!
Find somewhere else.
The tires are fine I guess, but soon after they were put on, they started to leak, and I bought decent tires. I went back to have this issue resolved, and not only did I pay for work that did not resolve it, I also appear to have paid for a service that was supposed to be under their warranty. The invoice did not accurately reflect the work they did. I’m not sure why.
Communication is also frustrating. You call the corporate number each time, which is annoying (though not in the local shop’s control). Also, Instead of freely telling me what they did last time I was in (since the invoice didn’t match their oral report to me), I had to keep pressing them to get this information, which should have been on the invoice, but wasn’t. They just want you to keep coming back (and they will find more to do).
By the way, The issue was resolved in a single, remarkably inexpensive trip at my local neighborhood shop.
Oh, and when the tires were first put on, they didn’t fix the tire pressure gauge so that took two visits as well.
It’s a bummer, since this place was highly recommended to me.
I came in here Nov 12th, and this place is running a Scam! You should record and pay attention to everything before dropping off your car to these people. And thankfully we did. And if your a women, please take a man with you. This place is not SAFE. The prices they are estimating is not normal. And they threaten to call the cops for holding my car hostage for refusing service which isn’t LEGAL!!! I didn’t owe them anything. I would appreciate if the manager can get in contact with me as soon as possible and leave an email. Because I actually have the entire situation recorded. If not I will take it upon my hands to make sure this stops and doesn’t happen to anyone else. Whatever is going on at the staring location is not legal in ANY WAY. I tried to call the owners number and all it was is some scratchy phone line you can barely understand the lady.
This place is a SCAM!! I brought my girlfriend to the Staring ln location to get her brakes looked at. When they found out we didn’t want to proceed with the repairs they quoted us on they held her car hostage! They took all four tires off and told us they would be legally obligated to call the police or have it towed unless we did the $900 repairs to have rotors replaced. They would not let us drive off the lot even though we drove there. We called an attorney right away. Highly illegal! Nothing but GOONS running this place. There was a whole squad of goons hovered over her car like vultures when I went to the back to check. The brakes somehow ended up in worse condition than when we arrived. Unprofessional and downright illegal.
They quoted me $1458 to replace a ball bearing in one of my wheels. When I declined and went to pick my car up, I noticed I was missing some battery powered jumper cables from my car. Do not come here. They will charge you 10x the price and steal from your car. I got the job done at a better shop for $180. When I called them back, Frank answered the phone. When I told him what happened he got really defensive. He said I called back several days later (it was two days because they were closed on Sunday and I couldnt reach them) and then asked what I was going to do, call the police? I asked him if that's what he would suggest? I knew I wasn't getting my stolen items back. It is interesting how defensive and absolutely unhelpful he was over the phone. Again, do NOT come here. It is not worth your time, money, or the risk.
I noticed my tire light on my way to work so I pulled into Tire Choice. I was kindly greeted by Jeramiah who had his team give me a patch and had me on my way within 15 minutes for a very fair price! Much appreciated!
The price of a basic oil change has increased to over $112.00. I have been using this business for years for our family vehicles. Without warning and no “discounts” allowed - that’s poor business for regular customers - we will now be moving to a different business
Several years ago, I visited this business. I can not remember who the Mgr was at the time. Tall, black guy with locs. He was AMAZING. And the reason I came back this visit. But to my surprise, there was a new Mgr. (Mike) Julius Bonds, who absolutely lied about everything we spoke about. I came in requesting two tires for the front of my car. At his recommendation, we agreed on one brand, which he told me was better AND less expensive than what I originally wanted. He also explained which were trash and which were better. I came back the next day because there was only one person there who was getting off at 3 pm. Long story short, my receipt read one thing, and what was on my car was different. What was on my car was the exact trash he told me NOT to get! Had I not checked the tires immediately after the work was done, who knows what wld've happened. In addition to all of that, he was too lazy to get the correct milage of my car. And wld have definitely screwded up my warranty. And the psi in the front were at 44!! And left the back at what it was upon arriving! (33). He promised me he wld take care of it Monday morning. I arrived Monday to have the debacle corrected, and he was scheduled off, leaving Jeremiah with his mess. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The mgmt here is a joke. The facility is horrible. The bathrooms are atrocious. Take your hard earned money to a reputable business who actually acts with integrity. I WILL NOT be returning, nor will I ever recommend this business.
The manager and staff were really nice! I thought I needed a new tire but turns out it was just a nail in my tire. The staff didn’t try to rip me off or anything and were honest because I fully expected to pay $200 but I ended up only paying about $20 for a patch and tire rotation.
Wow do not go to this tire shop for any type of repair not even an oil change. Here is why. Bring my perfectly good car in for brakes and oil change. Pick my car up now an engine light with a diagnosis saying it’s a knock sensor. When I ask how that happened when the engine light was not on when I dropped it off they didn’t want to hear I was dismissed: They then told me they couldn’t fix the knock sensor take it somewhere else. So I took it to Chevy and it turns out they pinched the harness wire into the oil filter when putting it back on. Cost me 276 dollars to fix and guess what shocker.. this wonderful rip off shop says they didn’t do it wasn’t me. Don’t want to pay for the repair they caused. I don’t have a problem they made a mistake I have a problem they wouldn’t accept responsibility and they dismissed me to begin with: When you’re a female or you don’t know much about cars you need someone you can trust. People this shop is not worthy of anyone’s trust and I hope they go out of business.
Absolutely wonderful service!!! I am over 500 Miles from home and my car started making a funny noise. They squeezed me in on a very busy Saturday, were very professional, fixed my car, and did not even charge me. They wished me and my grandmother a safe trip, and sent us on our way. Absolutely recommend them!!!!
I wouldn’t recommend going there if you value the physical appearance of your rims. My vehicle has powder coated rims and the guys in the back managed to put scratches on all four of my rims. They were not very friendly either. The business has changed since it isn't Tire Engineers anymore, sadly. I won't be back! The white specs in the picture are lint from the towel after washing my rims.

When I came to pick up, saw driver side front tire loose. They never tightened!!! And the swapped entire wheels not tires. Tried to be considerate- people make mistakes. Told them to fix and I would come back. They apologized.
Came back and picked up vehicle 1, all seemed fine. Picked up vehicle 2, looked good from visual. Started to back up and felt like something was loose. They didn’t tighten the driver front tire on vehicle 2!!!!!! Same mistake 2x in same day.

When they came out fix they apologized. I asked if I can get some money back or speak to the manager and they said they couldn’t do that but would offer free tire rotations. sure, I’ll be back.
That was two opportunities the driver front tire could have came off while driving. HUGE risk. Yet, they see it as a mild error. Very disappointing
