I went in after dealer told me it was my alternator that needed to be replaced and I was looking to get a quote for replacement. I told them what the dealer stated, they told me they need to confirm that was the issue. Not even 5 mins they confirmed the same problem I told them the dealer stated. Then they charged me $155.00 for a diagnostic fee!!!!!!!! They never told me about a fee!!!!!! Very dishonest business. This place is a scam. They scamed me out of $155.00.
I love European Car Care. It’s usually hard for women to find a good auto repair shop whereas she doesn’t feel like she’s being taken advantage of because of lack of knowledge about vehicles. This shop is highly recommended, affordable and everyone at this establishment is extremely professional. I will definitely conduct business with this company again
European Car Care worked on my 2008 Mercedes ML 550. When I arrived home with my vehicle, oil was leaking at the top of the engine and beneath the vehicle (see pictures). I had taken it in to have the starter and thermostat replaced. They claimed it needed all of this other stuffed fixed. I also noticed the original oil cap and dip stick were not replaced. Instead they had been replaced with a rusted dip stick and a broken oil cap! I immediately tried calling and the receptionist informed me she was “having a crisis” and would call me back. After that brief conversation, every time I tried to call I was sent straight to voicemail. Guess who never received a call back?! I paid $4.2K expecting my vehicle to be fully operational and it isn’t!!!
Update: After posting this Google Review and filing a claim with the Louisiana State Attorney General's Office, the owner finally called me back FIVE DAYS later. I allowed my son to step in and Troy (the owner) told him to bring my vehicle back the following Monday (this is at the 2 week mark of me having the car back in my possession). After keeping it for an ADDITIONAL 2 weeks it was finally returned. (I was without a vehicle for a grand total of 7 weeks). The owner stated that a part they had put on my vehicle was defective (not the dip stick or oil cap). They even assured my son that they test drove the vehicle (so wait...you didn't test drive it the first time?! Which if you did, you would have noticed the massive oil leaks). The response European Car Care sent to the Attorney General's Office (which was forwarded to me) placed the blame on me. They stated, "The review was not necessary if Ms. Yazeed would have put the same effort into getting the car back to us for those 5 to 7 days instead of filing so quickly with the Attorney General's Office and writing a negative review to discredit our company, that we were not at fault due to a part defect." (Remember, I did speak with someone and she stated she was having a crisis and would call me back, which never happened until I posted this review and filed a claim with the Louisiana State Attorney General's Office). Ladies and Gentlemen, I couldn't make this stuff up even if I wanted to! The proof is in the pictures I uploaded with this review and this update. I'll never take another vehicle to this place again. NEVER!
If you cannot fix a vehicle don’t even try. This place took my money with a smile and returned it to me with two new issues then told me I need to purchase a new car or engine. I’m just waiting on the attorney general to intervene, however I will not wait much longer.
Troy and his staff at European Car Care are very polite and courteous. They provided awesome customer service to us, as well as professional service to our vehicle. He and his team are very thorough. When they were finished, he communicated clearly to us all the information we needed to know about the services done to our vehicle. European Car Care is now our chosen service provider for our Mercedes-Benz!

Auto diagnostic and repair: I've been taking my aunt's car - a 2002 Mercedes
430 E CLS- four door sedan there for years. These people are great. Troy is a gem and has a fantastic team. Stacey is very helpful. Never any problems after repairs- great service. Pricing is fair and better then the competition. Very professional staff.

I have been to three different VW dealerships and another European auto shop for the same, persistent starting issue with my car. After replacing spark plugs, cleaning the fuel system and hemming and hawing, they all shrug their shoulders and say it must've just been a bad batch of gas despite the vehicle STILL having the same issues. The folks at European Car Care diagnosed the problem correctly the first time and even stayed late to accommodate my schedule to get it fixed. Absolutely fantastic customer service and very knowledgeable technicians! My car runs like new. Your car is in great hands with these folks, I can't recommend them enough!

Took my Maserati in and saved $thousand’s literally from the Owner being a honest person, only doing what was needed which was 15% of what others thought I needed. If only every car service/repair place was like this….. Please Don’t change.
I was referred here by a friend and am very satisfied with the service. They are professional and reasonably priced.
I had plans to go out of town for the weekend and really needed my car. My check engine light came on Monday morning! They had my car fixed by Friday afternoon and I was prepared for my trip. For that, I’ll be back.
These guys look small business off of choctaw but treat you like your CCLA! Very professional intake and online presence that works AND they fixed what the my volkswagen dealer said was unfixable as well as work on my vehicle that other shops refused. I will go back to them.
I’m very satisfied have been bringing my cars here for years . And recommending my friends and family also. Never had a problem . Just got my car fixed here today and will be back thanks guys keep up the good work

This was my first visit and I was totally satisfied. The price was great and the wait time wasn’t bad. The lady at the front desk was really friendly also. The owner let me know what was going on as it happened. I will return.

I had been trying to get an appt for B service for my MB GLS450 from several MB dealerships. However, I was told it would be at least 3 to 4 weeks before an available appointment. In walks European Car Care.
While engaging in general conversation it so happened I received a referral from a regular customer of European Car Care. What are the odds? The stars had aligned!! I called the next day and got an appt that same day. They did not disappoint!
I was able to wait in their beautiful waiting room, and I was there no longer than an hour and a half. The price was a FRACTION of the cost I would have paid at a regular MB dealership….not to mention a very clean restroom facility. That’s a plus in my book. This is the best kept secret in town….but now that you know…SHARE IT!!
The owner is very easy to communicate with. He was polite and able to explain my service and answer any questions I had. He is a true southern gentleman, with an humble blessed spirit about him. Sooo glad I found European Car Care.
I’m a recent transplant from California and I am extremely picky about where I take my vehicle for servicing. European Car Care is going to be my regular shop to service my GLS450.
