If I could leave 0 stars I would. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was is absolutely necessary to do this time. This place is horrible, from the way they treat customers to way the they “fix” your car. My fiancé took his 1972 Chevy Caprice (a beautiful old school car) to this shop thinking that they would do a good job and were proficient in operating on legitimate old school vehicles when in fact they did not and made things worse. His car went there in one condition and left in a worse condition than it came. He paid roughly 16k all together for his car to be in working condition just for it to all be a COMPLETE waste of his money. These people chipped his paint and did not want to acknowledge that they were the ones responsible when it was literally in their care the entire time and was even provided proof of no prior damage, they did NOT properly install the new brake system as they were paid to do ,they did NOT actually order new parts as they were literally paid to do but used partially used parts, they opened the rear main head box on the car and did not refill it with any oil at all causing damage to the axils (making it run metal). He had to bring the car back several times for them to fix what they did not fix/made worse AND they had the nerve to charge him for it too!! Not to mention the blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism through dialogue. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, quite frankly it needs to be shut down and I’m surprised no one has sued them yet. We would but quite frankly don’t have the time nor patients. If you’re reading this don’t say you were not warned!!
This place is garbage I took my car there to get some work done and I had to keep going back at least 4 times because my car wasn't done right the owner is very rude with a smart disrespectful mouth I will tell everyone I know don't take your car their
I brought my car in to be checked out. It was driving horrible. The lady at the desk was so nice and helpful. The man took my car for a test drive to see if he could feel what I was feeling. Turned out to be a bubble in my tire. They ordered me a tire and I was ready to go. Being a woman, I thought they would try to say I needed a lot of work done because I had no clue why my car was shaking like that, but they were so honest. I will recommend them to all my female family and friends! Thank you Hooper Rd Car Care!!
I took my 1985 too hopper car care for tune up and was charged 2900 Yessineed and the car still shaken it all good god is good yall company goin straight down , I wouldn’t let them work on my on bike 2900 and you couldn’t put a proper hoses on my car are clean under the motor yall over chargen customer for work yall not doing PLEASE DONT SEND YO CAR HERE
I brought my ‘68 C10 truck to Hooper Road Car care because my temperature gauge didn’t work. They told me that one gauge can’t be replaced or repaired, and that I needed a whole new panel. I ordered the least expensive of the ones they showed me on their computer which was $1200. They charged me $700 or $800 to change it out. And guess what, the temperature gauge didn’t work. I asked about it on the C10 website and EVERYONE told me I’d been ripped off and that fixing the temperature gauge is very simple. I was definitely taken advantage of, probably because they knew I trusted them and didn’t know about vehicles.
Paid em 500 dollars, and still had to fix my wife's vehicle the next morning. The check engine light came on right after leaving. They changed the battery and a tow. I told them what was wrong with it (which I ended up doing) a crankshaft sensor. I was told by the lady sorry and she stayed up all night thinking about us ... well I'm still out of 500 for a broke car and I stayed up fixing a car...
I can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone is very kind and helpful. I don't know what I would have done without them. 10/10 service and people.

Well I must say it has been a pleasure working with them over the years. Today I received a call back about my car, which was less than 12 hours from them receiving the vehicle last night close to closing. Gina was amazing, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. She went above and beyond with getting my car ready for my son to drive. The pricing was also reasonable. Thank you ever so kindly for your help.
This place is full of nothing but liars, they sold my car before they had the legal rights to do so, after towing my car illegally claiming at first the police had them tow it then when I confronted them the story changed to the police oversaw it and the owner of the property told them I was in jail, for some reason me being in jail (lie) gives this company the right to sell my mom's car without a permit, and of course no paperwork because the lady who quit the day I showed up must have deleted my file, shut them down
My car was towed here & the same day I went to pay for it. They told me they can’t tow my car back to my house until the following morning, without a fuss, we agreed and left. They dropped my car off this morning in the middle of my driveway and the sidewalk and when the man dropped it down, he knocked the pipe coming from my muffler down. Immediately I called because he left in a hurry.. I was calling before he turned off the street. The lady that works there answered the phone and told us that “the car was dropped off. It has nothing to do with us now” and hung up. After calling back she tells us that if we call her again she’s going to file harassment charges on us. I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB & filing a civil suit. I don’t recommend doing business with this company if you can avoid it.
This company is very professional and they always do a great job with repairs and they are very honest when you leave this place you can rest assure that the repair was done right they’re a little on the expensive side but hey you get what you pay for I highly recommend this place
They do not illegally tow cars. If you left your car abandoned and the private property owner or police call them to pick up said abandoned car. Hooper Road has every right to pick it up at owners expense. If the car IS NOT in your name hooper road legally CAN NOT give you any information. Now if you would have went up there with proof of ownership you could have gotten any and all information you needed, and the car released to you.
They illegally tow cars, they also refuse to give you info to get said car out, the lady is rude as hell. They make excuses. Crooks. Dont give them your business. They recieved two complaints that were given to the Louisiana State Police. Don't waste your money.
Horrible CX SVC. Office personnel is RUDE to put it nicely. Requested a starter to be shimmed didn’t do that put on a new starter 12 hours later had to shim our own starter. The main mech/ owner came highly recommended for older antique cars; very very disappointed. They behaved like our business was a bother after spending a pretty penny. Wouldn’t even return for warranty applicable circumstances due to poor quality and less than through work!

My vehicle was serviced here. Before I left this repair shop, I noticed my windshield wiper motor cover was missing. I asked the tech about it and he went and found my windshield wiper motor cover in the trash can. He said they didn't know what it was! The customer service here is also very questionable. The lady that works there is very rude and loud. She doesn't let you get a word in edgewise and argued me down when I was trying to explain that another part was also missing from my vehicle.
Brought my sicj car. Tbey brought me back home while repairs were being done. Kept me informed via phone at all work being done. They did an excellent job with my car repairs and customer service!
I have been using Hooper Rd Car Care for about 6 years. They are straight forward, down to earth and fair! I bring all of my vehicles there and also bring several of my family’s vehicles.
I simply tell them what the vehicle is doing and they check it out and call me and tell me whats wrong and how much it will cost to fix it and also will tell me straight up if something can wait or if it needs doing now. I highly recommend them becausr they are fair, honest people and I dont have to worry about them trying to pull one over on me and that has happened to me at other shops. They back all of their work with a 1 year parts and 3 months labor warranty. They use quality parts and do excellent work. Its nice to have trustworthy people looking out for me
If I could give negative stars, I would. Possibly the rudest person I've ever met. I called on five seperate occasions for a price quote to fix my vehicle to no avail. So I went by and the lady said I was wasting her time. I just needed my truck fixed.
Went in for a state inspection on my 2011 Camry. They took off the sticker and then connected the computer. For some reason, their computer wouldn't connect to my car so they told me to go to the dealership to have it looked at and gave me a failed sticker. I was charged since they took the sticker off, but if I'm going to go to the dealership anyway then I'm going to have them do my inspection.
Came in with an issue that couldn't be solved with a computer code so they took the time to work though every possible issue. The car is now working better than before, I would highly recommend them over any dealership in the area.
