My name is Kentu Guillory I had to get a whole transmission rebuild at Aamco Ms Karen and Mr Joe are amazing very professional I recommend this place to anyone and they do have financing come check them out.
All these 5 star reviews must be people they know trying to make them look good…. I brought my vehicle in for clutch problems they tell me it’s the transmission ( I have high doubts that it was my transmission) anyways they talked me into getting a rebuilt transmission. Cost me $4,800….. 2 months later my car stops pulling on my way to work (rpm’s going up have my foot on the gas but car not driving had to cost to the side of interstate) the transmission had a warranty and i thought it may had been the transmission so i sent it back to them. Keep in mind just 2 months before I spent $4,800 on a transmission with them and suspecting transmission problems you would think my vehicle would be first priority. 2 weeks go by before they get it on the rack to even look at the vehicle. Now they saying it’s the clutch (they had to pull the clutch to get to the transmission the first time you would think thru would had noticed it then) I would call for a check up on the vehicle and every time I call the “the mechanic is running errands and will call you you back” (I guess they only hand one mechanic I don’t know) . Never get a call back. And it happened quite a few times I would call and they would never call back. After a MONTH of having my car and I done spend probably around $2,000 or more in Uber and lift to get to work and get groceries and door dash because I don’t have a vehicle. I call them and tell them I’m going pick up my vehicle and bring it somewhere else. All of a sudden they are working on the vehicle RIRHT NOW and will be done in a couple of hours. I highly doubt that both my transmission and clutch went out at the same time on a vehicle with $52,000 miles on it. And not giving me updates when I been calling for weeks seems sketchy. . They will tell you anything to get your vehicle in there and they will lie. Do not bring your vehicle to this location
Aamco lake charles replaced the old transmission in my truck within a week of having brought it in. The turnaround time was great and nice to be back on the road. Great warranty and friendly service.
I had a new Transmission put it and when a issue arose, I was told to bring it right in no questions asked. 5hey really know how to take care of their customers

Extremely Disappointing Experience
I visited this service center in Louisiana this morning to get my car’s splash guard fixed. It was hanging loose and just needed to be screwed back into place. They completed the repair quickly, but I was shocked when they charged me $160 for such a simple fix.
What made the experience even worse was the lack of transparency. They didn't provide me with a quote or ask for my approval before completing the service. When they gave me the car, they simply told me the total without any prior warning. I expected better communication, especially since I was a first-time customer.
To make matters worse, the splash guard still isn't properly secured—it looks like it’s about to fall off again. After paying so much, I didn’t expect to leave with the same problem I came in with. I didn’t want to create a scene at the time because I had to travel back to Texas that same day, but I left feeling incredibly frustrated.
Overall, the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and incomplete repair have left me extremely disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this service center to anyone.

To all those who do not want to pay $5400. for labor and parts that were not needed instead; the correct part I needed was $614. And waiting 6 months to “try” and make things right.
Within 4 weeks of Aamco having my car I decided I had to buy another car.
Who can rent a car that long!!
This is a long story but I wanted to share my horrible experience with the community and hopefully this does not happen to you.
I would have rather them say sorry we do not work on that transmission; like every other transmission shop in Lake Charles besides Bolton is just takes too long to get it fixed at Bolton.
Called around and everyone said it would take WEEKS before I could get my truck in the shop. With no other vehicle to use, AAMOC took my truck in within 20 minutes and finished my truck within a few DAYS.
Definitely recommend this place!!!!
Absolutely the worse service I've ever experienced. Putting parts on my vehicle that I didn't approve for them to change. Not completing the work they charged me for. Then threatening to put lean on my vehicle. For not wanting to pay them for work I didn't authorize for them to do. Vehicle left their shop still broken and I'm screwed out of money. And still have to pay someone else to fix. I highly do not recommend. And the owner likes getting in your face. For standing up for yourself. He even went as far as to empty his pockets and screaming saying let's take it outside. The BBB WILL DEFINITELY BE HEARING FROM ME.
I would say that the lack of communication, being passed off multiple times, and the lack of courtesy and effort from the front management is all of my negative review from this establishment.
As a business owner I need my truck and if it needs to be worked on that is 100% fine what I m not fine with is lack of,

I don't care about the price, and wouldn't not have much minded the duration of this project.
The problem lies with calling speaking with multiple people 2/3 saying:
" I have no idea what's going on with your vehicle"
"Your vehicle is having this done to it"
Calling the next day for a follow up for them to say that what occurred the day prior actually didn't occur that they are still looking at it.
Calling the following day and speaking to someone completely different who asks
"Who are you and I don't believe your trucks here"
Fowarding calls 2x to immediately call from another number and pick up the phone
Asking about responses to pending unanswered emails and them not know who you are or your email after you vehicles been there for 10+ days.
Listen management if you are reading this I'm sure your fields guys fixed my truck just fine and I sure hope they did but man let me tell you respectfully, I probably will not be using this establishment ever again and will be way less likely to refer anyone.
-Follow up ever 3-4 days whether you are working on it or not.
-Respond to emails.
-One handle per customer or at least have other font office personal knowledgeable to what is going on with a vehicle when a customer or client calls.
-Communicate and just be honest with whatever the case may be.
You can respond and attempt to rebuttle this review but I assure you time will tell all.
I went through two different places for my car until I found Daniel & his team for both transmission and pro car care. This is the only place I will take my car going forward. The team is accurate in their assessments, knowledgeable, professional & values your time as a customer. Mary is the best assistant at making sure she connects you to the person for the right reason. I highly recommend this team for all your car needs.
Not trustworthy and worst experience I've ever had. Brought car in for suspension problems. Daniel quoted $585 for 2 fr sway bars & alignment. Had own parts but I had to use AAMCO parts. Cost was higher but since it was AAMCO it would be done right with warranty. The bill was higher $685 for computer Diagnostic fee. Called Daniel about a refund since no diagnostic is done on suspension. Said it was for checking but billed as Computer Diagnostic. I explained he quoted $585 price. Tried to use AAMCO free diagnostic coupon but wouldn't accept. He was rude and would not refund and hung up.
Filed complaint BBB & Daniel sent refund check as resolution but only to cover his shady business dealings.
DONT TRUST CONPANY DISHONEST AND BAD REPAIR SHOP
Was supposed to align car. When picked up car it pulled right and shutters when braking & bounces. Contacted Daniel, but he was rude and said bring it somewhere else. Paid $150 instead of $100 other places charge & basically lied about doing an alignment.
Cost me $585 for nothing and will have to pay again to get repaired by professional shop.
If we could offer less than 1 star we would. Dishonest pricing and work provided. They left my vehicle unlocked ALLLLLL WEEKEND sitting on the lot. They overpriced and lied about labor time and work completed!!

I was very excited when I got the call that my car was ready for pickup, it was very fast they were done before the estimate date. When I first walked in I spoke with Daniel, he was very understanding and honest. A few days later after diagnosis and test drive I got a called he was straight to the point and told me what needed to be repaired. I was notified throughout the whole process. Highly recommend very good quality.
They were honest with me about the condition of my car and also the probability of it being inoperable unless I spent 4000$ to 4500$ on repairs. They also let me know the performance history surrounding CVT transmissions. I was grateful for the technician taking his time out to explain these things to me in a way that I understood. Very sorry they got torn up from the ground up in the recent hurricanes in Lake Charles.
In 2018, my mother -in-law's vehicle seemed to be having transmission issues. I called AAMCO Transmission and spoke with Mr. Gordon who was very helpful and understanding and willing to help. Mr. Gordon fixed the transmission and did a great job, due to my mother-in-law who was 78 years old and on a fix income, Mr. Gordon allow us to make payments to pay for the service which took a few months but he was understanding an compassionate towards our situation. Two years later my son who inherited the vehicle was driving to work and had broke down on the side of the road, I called Mr. Gordon and explained what had happen, and without hesitation offered to send a wrecker to my son's location and pick the vehicle up and have it transported to his shop. Mr. Gordon contacted me the next day and advised what the problem could be but was not sure until his mechanics could Diagnosed it, but due to the year of the vehicle, I had him hold off until my son and I could talk about what he wanted to do, so I had a wrecker go to AAMCO to pick the vehicle up and transport it to our home. I went to settle up the bill with Mr. Gordon and he did not charge me for looking the vehicle over just for the tow which was cheap. Mr. Gordon reminds me of the good old days when you can take your vehicle in to get check and the business you used took care of you the best way they could with kindness, compassion, understanding just like family, something we do not have today. I recommend AAMCO transmission to anyone, located on Prien Lake Road across the street of the bank and Tony's Pizza. Thank You so much Mr. Gordon for all your help.

My husband broke down in Lake Charles. We called around 12 repair shops in the area and because of the size of the vehicle, most were ill equipped, unwilling or unable to fix it. Although our vehicle is too big to go on their lift, Aamco were willing to work on it on the ground. They diagnosed the problem the same day he brought it in and rebuilt and upgraded the transmission in less than 5 days. They were so friendly and helpful and the mechanics were absolutely awesome. They went above and beyond to get him back on the road as quickly as possible and he was able to drive back to Florida with confidence. We will never forget how they helped us out of a sticky situation and cannot recommend them enough!
I was not thrilled at all about the price once my truck was fixed. They are pretty high in comparison to other shops for the same exact work that any other shop would do and less warranty than any other shop I called.. Then will try and sell an expensive extended warranty but claim no one can beat their rebuild/guarantee.... so why such a short warranty with an expensive extended?? I will brag on their customer service and speed of service I felt like was fairly quick.
First off I want to express my biggest thanks to Enjoli Corbello and the family of Aamco Transmissions for helping me in my time of need. By far they are the best transmission shop I have ever done business with. I strong recommend them.
If you ever need anything I advise you to call them. They are very professional and they are understanding. Not everyone has loads of money sitting around to pay for unexpected break downs. They worked with me during a time of heart ship and family struggles to get my car back on the road.
This type of treatment is top class. My 2008 GT/CS has never ran better. The transmission in my car is built of the best quality. They took there time to put it together. I have had no problems with it at all.

Mr. Gordon takes pride in doing the best job for his customers and works to make sure everything is right before he lets a vehicle leave. We had a repair done on two different seals and after we took it home we noticed another leak. We called Gordan and he said bring it back in. Not only did he put a rush on fixing it, they covered the last repair. What an amazing and compassionate guy. I would highly recommend his shop. Not only do they care about the customer, they definately stand behind there work.....if you ever need a repair please call Gordan. This store is worth your time
Gordon and his team really know how to service their customers. The price for them to rebuild my transmission was the most competitive in town and the owner kept me up to date on their progress each day. Hope I don't have any transmission issues soon, but if I do I will be a returning customer.
The service was the best by far that I have recieved from a mechanic's shop. I was kept aware how far along my vehicle was at every major change. Mr. Gordon, Mrs. Jenny, and Robert all made the process a great experience and I feel confident in the work that was done.
