John Mardis was the man who helped me. He was professional, respectful and kind even when I wasn’t quite sure how to explain what attention my car needed. He was not only knowledgeable, he knew how to explain car needs in lay terms.
As usual we can depend on Pumpelly's to be honest and tell us when work is needed or just a small fix. Everyone is courteous and helpful plus they work quickly.

Mr. Ben, Mr. John and the guys are always such a great help, very kind and informative. Also, the waiting area is comfortable, even with kids. My kids enjoyed coloring and reading. I've been a customer for years for this reason.
Normally I dread bringing my car in for maintenance because it usually takes so long I end up getting an Uber/lyft home then have to retrieve later that night or the next day. I also dread sitting in the waiting rooms of most shops.. too crowded, chairs are always stained and gross and it’s just not a “chill vibe” in most of these places. I have never been more pleasantly surprised when I decided to give pumpellys a try!!

The waiting area is definitely elevated for any place in this area. Several long tables that serve as a workspace, with charging stations in them and plenty of seating that isn’t upholstered so it doesn’t give the ick to sit on, and so clean everywhere inside! Tens stars all around thank y’all for the prompt professional service, this is how a business should be run!
Always personal attention when you walk in and they communicate as one would expect. Top notch company and has been around for decades. I always go there for any tire needs.
My daughter was in from college for Christmas break and I saw she needed tires. Picked up the phone and made a call to Pumpelly Tire. As always I was greeted like I'm part of the family. I asked to speak to Mr. John Wright as he has been my tire man for years. Told him what I needed and about what price point. Within minutes he had my quote put together and time of service scheduled. Brought my daughter's car and even with a busy load they hammered it out in no time and even got the TPMS system back on track. So if you are looking for tires or any other services you can't go wrong with Pumpelly Tire!
This location is excellent in treating your vehicle with personal care. Excellent customer service is a given. You are appreciated and treated as if you are a family member. The work performed here can't get any better. Also, although they work quickly to get you back on the road, they have a very comfortable waiting area with TV and coffee if you wish to wait. In my book, there is no other tire service center in Sulphur that measures up to Pumpelly's Tire Center.
If you need someone honest and professional to fix your car or put on new tires, I recommend this family business. These people are amazing, with great prices and very friendly service.
They are always very helpful. I had a flat tire and not repairable. Suggested a tire that would work since they didn’t carry the brand on the car. Great service

I had a huge nail in my tire that needed to be fixed. They fixed my tire quickly and were very courteous. The next time I need a set of tires, I will buy them from Pumpelly’s.
I had a sudden low pressure tire alert, and my husband insisted I go to Pumpelly. It was close to closing time, yet Mr. Chris insisted they could take a look at my tire and do what needed to be done before closing. It was eventually discovered that I had a screw in my tire, so the staff plugged the tire in record time. Special thanks to Mr. Chris for providing excellent customer service! Pumpelly has gained a customer for life!
Had a nail in a tire. Asked if while there, they could do a tire rotation & alignment, if time.They took it in, fixed the tire, did the tire rotation & alignment. Then also changed a burnt bulb inside my car. Great service! Affordable prices!
I personally did not get serviced here. My car died in the middle of the road and I got it pushed into their parking lot. They generously helped me get it started even through they were busy. These guys care and are very nice. If I need any tires which I will be soon.. I’m coming straight here.

Pumpellys is the best place to bring your vehicle. Everyone there is so nice and so honest . And Thanks to them I feel safe They check out everything in my car .As a Widow you have to be able to trust and know there honest people.I explain to them I was going out of town and they made sure everything was o k.And changed my oil and made sure my tires were good. .And got right on it when I got there. Love there service.

I had some sort of nail in my tire on a Friday afternoon. John Wright at Pumpelly Lake Charles located a new tire in Houston which matched the exact specifications I needed (Porsche is picky ) and got me back on the road Monday morning! Not only that, my husband was on a hunting trip that Friday and try as I might I could not find a ride back to Sulphur so Chris (whose last name I fail to remember) kindly drove me 20 miles home! We had a great visit on the way. Pumpelly Tire is extremely professional and I highly recommend them when the need arises!!! They do more than just tires I might add. The waiting area is lovely and everyone is friendly. Thank you guys!!!
Ordered my tires one day and got them in and on next day. Patiently and professionally got me quotes on multiple tires. I knew the total price upfront and was not disappointed with the fast friendly service. This is the 2nd vehicle they've put full set of tires on for me and I will be back for another.
They staff was excellent great service. I’m from Brooklyn, NY and it was true southern hospitality like no other. My tire was change faster than I thought the place was nice even had cold water and ESPN on so I will be back with family if we need tires. This is the place to go. Simply amazing
