I had a very frustrating experience with Luke’s Tow Recovery.
My car was towed on Friday, and I immediately tried to arrange pickup. I called and asked to collect it on Saturday, but was told they were closed. I then asked about Sunday — also closed. So I went first thing Monday morning to pick up my vehicle.
To my surprise, they charged me for four full days of storage, even though I had no access to retrieve my car over the weekend because they were closed.
It makes no sense to charge customers for days when your business isn’t even open and you’re not providing any service. If I had been given the opportunity, I would have picked up my car much earlier and avoided these extra fees.
This feels unfair and unprofessional. If I could give zero stars, I would — but since that’s not an option, take this one star as a zero.
Can't speak for their prices, however I see one employee from Luke's very frequently I don't know the name of, he worked a heavy duty tow for a white Volvo on I-10 EB on 3/22, and an LCPD wreck on 12th & 1st on 3/24. He's actually one of the only operators I've seen from Luke's, but he's extremely fast and efficient, keeping our roads clear and safe to travel on. Works with other tow company operators to get things cleared faster, and knows what he's doing and I can appreciate that, not many tow companies around here have employees like that. I was told that yall open @9 but when I got there I was told it’ll be about an hour to do paperwork etc so technically yall open at ten big inconvenience could have lost my job that day
From scheduling to pick up everyone was kind and friendly. The driver was awesome and worked with skill and efficiency. I most definitely recommend and if the need arises, will call again.
They’re friendly enough for a towing company. Quick response time and they follow the state’s rules to a T. Can’t fault them for that. I cannot comment on their pricing, but they are very professional, and do things right. Their driveway is easy to miss as their sign is a bit small, however.
Got a rental impounded and they wouldn’t even allow me to get my house keys, my sons medicine, or debit cards. And the lady who is yt working the phone has a nasty attitude about doing her job. I do appreciate Mr Jimmy though he did try and took his time.
Great guys! They helped us with our semi truck that was involved in a crash. They took good care of us and answered the phone on a Saturday (most towing places are closed on weekend). Thank you guys.
