I had a very bad experience with this shop. I called in advance and asked if they had a brake drum hub for my trailer in stock. They told me they did and that I could come to their shop. When I arrived, nobody was there — I had to wait 4 hours for someone to show up. Then, after they finally arrived, they told me they actually didn’t have the part.
This was on Saturday. They promised me that on Sunday they would come to my truck stop and replace it. I explained to them many times how important it was not to let me down because my customers were waiting for the load that I had to deliver on Monday. On Sunday, they called again and said they still didn’t have the part. I asked how early they could fix it on Monday, and they promised to have the part by 7:30 AM and that the job would take 2 hours.
On Monday morning they came to my truck stop, looked at the trailer for a while, and then told me to bring it to their shop. Once I brought it there, they started working for 10 minutes, then disappeared for 2 hours, and repeated this cycle the entire day. Because of this, I was only able to leave at 5 PM.
Terrible service. They don’t keep their word, they waste people’s time, and they put drivers in very difficult situations. And for all this, I was charged $1,379.38 — a price that no other shop would ever quote for such poor and unprofessional work. If your time and money are valuable, I strongly recommend staying away from this place.
Blew a brake chamber on my International. Called 3 shops. ASR was $330+ cheaper than their competitor.
Mechanic arrived in a reasonably short time (30-45 mins). The repair was completed quickly and done well.
I would definitely use ASR when in the Shreveport area.
Towed my semi there, kept it for 3 months and couldn't figure out the issue, and still charged me 3k for nothing. Towed it to another shop and fixed the truck within a week.
Do not recommend.
These guys making job for so expensive when I talk to Boss he says this is my shop. I do whatever I want and I would like to ask to everyone is not good Plase don’t go there if you go there you have to make a deal before you go because the guys charging triple price so bad place
I let Hercules towing talk me into taking my water well rig there to get the brakes worked on. Took almost a month to get in contact with anyone there. The owner called me before they started working on it and said they would have to study up on it being a older truck. I told him when they figured it out to call me with a estimate before they started working on it. It was 2 months later getting a call from asr wanting my emails address. I gave it to the lady on a Friday. Monday I received a invoice that was very bland just parts and prices and 30 hrs of labor at 130$ per hour to work on brakes. The 1st invoice I received on Monday for 5600$ and showed past due from the Friday before. 30 hrs of labor at 130 per hr for brakes 1st invoice said the changed 2 wheel cylinders and 3 brake lines and a fitting for 5600$. I called complaining and asked for a itemized invoice of labor never received one. I received another invoice that had been changed to 4 wheel cylinders had been changed and th price went down 200$. This is my problem. They changed 4 wheel cylinders if you look nation wide avg the cost 19$ for that truck and avg labor is .5 hrs to change out. So 4 is 2 hrs. Avg labor cost nationwide for working on brakes is 60$ per hr. The 3 short brake lines I was charged 150$ for you can buy a 100’ roll for 49$. Th 40’ steel line I was charged 200$ can be purchased for 30$ and can be bent with small tubing benders any mechanic should have in their shop hand held. These people will not talk to you and the one guy that will talk to you never knows anything. So did work with giving a estimate. Over charged the hell out of me 30 hrs labor at130$ per hr plus parts. 100$ for a fitting I would like to know the 100$ fitting. Can’t get a itemized invoice of labor. No warranty on their work at all. How can you charge this and give 0 labor warranty on your work. This is a rip off and now while I am tying to get this resolved they have started charging me 50$ a day storage fees. Can someone please help me understand how this can happen I have explained to them I am not a oilfield company with plenary of money. I used everything I had in my savings to buy this rig for me and my dad. Now I am having to sell off my tools and equipment to pay for the brake bill on the rig that is one 6400$ now and growing. Be care with this shop. No communication and a huge bill without a warranty or explanation at the end. They do not care it is criminal in my opinion they act like they don’t owe you anything just pay them what they demand because I know they were just trying to steal my rig. Im pretty sure that was the plan from the start and why it had taken so long. And I can’t get a answer to any questions.
It seems like they don't know what they are doing. They did not fix the problem I had with my trailer, charge for nothing, have a rude attitude, and swear when asked anything that shows they don't know what to do.
I would give 0 if possible. I called to ask a question about the invoice and the man in the background was SCREAMING AT THE PHONE. I had a simple question and they freaked out. THEY LIED TO MY PARTNER AND OVERCHARGED. I have never been spoken to like that by someone who I AM PAYING. THE NASTIEST ATTITUDES IN THE WORLD. IM GOING TO BE PRAYING FOR YALL. I have already worked with multiple shops around the country and this is by far the WORST.
I asked for inspection didn't get it but got charged for it asked for ac lines didn't get them put on but got charged for it they said I needed breakes drums and wheel seals they didn't give new parts and they didn't even fix them. 169 miles down the road and had to get the wheel seals fixed again and I called them up and made them pay for what they charged me for that they didn't fixed. They should have paid my wages for being broke down.
Avoid at all costs!! Charged me $1,800 to change one tire!! Charged me 4 hours of labor and a non cash fee of $90 dollars. Worse company I've ever dealt with!!!
STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! EVERY single bad review about this business is true. They took 2 days to do a job that could’ve taken 5-6 hours at most. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever. And then the price you will pay for their “services” is criminally exorbitant. And not just that, they also have horrendous customer service. So PLEASE don’t give people like these any business whatsoever. You’re better off towing your vehicle somewhere else.
While moving from Wisconsin to Texas, the leaf spring on our trailer snapped leaving us on the side of the highway. We called many places but it was a holiday weekend so most were either closed or couldn't get the part we needed. But not only did ASR have a service tech on call they also had the ability to get two new leaf springs for us and had us back on the road in a matter of hours. They saved us hours if not days of waiting on a part and the pricing was fair. Their technician was super friendly(I believe his name was Troy) and did a wonderful job!
They were VERY friendly and professional. My company attempted to force me to run with a trailer that was out of alignment. They put my trailer out of service until the repairs were completed. They not only backed me up, they even offered to get a DOT officer involved if my company didn't back off. I am forever grateful to them and highly recommend them for any and all repairs for trucks and or trailers. May God bless and reward this business, it's owners, and employees.
I had an awesome experience at the truck repair shop! The mechanics worked shockingly fast and were able to figure out and fix my truck's problem without any hesitation. The whole team was incredibly nice and helpful, making me feel like a VIP the entire time. Their exceptional customer service blew me away, and I can't recommend them enough for anyone who's in need of some truck TLC.
Don’t go here! Horrible business, horrible customer service, and they tell you one price to convince you to do business with them and once the service is done, they change the price to their benefit! You’re better off just getting a hotel room and waiting while your truck/trailer gets repaired.
I usually read reviews and don’t put too much stock in them. But if you dig deep and read the negative reviews that deal with this place. After my experience. I know they are 100 percent TRUE. If you notice, most of the good reviews they have are from people that own the business or are family or work there. Long story short. They perform work on your equipment that was never requested with no authorization to just run up the bill and blindside you when they are done with what they WANT to do. You know, legal theft. I wouldn’t take my truck there for an oil change.
Do not go here if you don’t want to get ripped off… they will work on your truck and not give you a price or invoice on work until complete. They will just run up the bill and when they break your equipment they will make you pay for it even if you’re at fault. These guys are shady
