Leaving 1 star because zero stars is not an option. Please note my Google review history. I am not the person who typically leaves a negative review. I love giving companies and good customer service kudos! I just read other reviews and the rudeness experienced is a common occurrence from the person mentioned below. Situation: Today my spouse was serviced at this facility for a vehicle inspection and departed feeling discriminated against. Background: On 15 September 25 at approximately 1020ish - upon entering this facility and requesting an inspection, the front desk clerk (who stated she was also the owner) proclaimed she needed to check the window for approval. Her demeanor was rude and unwelcoming; however, this action seemed standard. Due to a crack partially across the front windshield, my spouse was informed that only a 30 day pass would be provided. Her responses were short and with an aggravated tone. Again, no 2nd thoughts warranted. While following her back into the facility for the 30 day pass, another customer (of different ethnicity) walked in with the same request. Instead of executing the “standard” procedure (window inspection), the clerk responded with a chipper temperament (a 180 from before) immediately escorting her to the desk for a 2 year renewal. This became concerning once my spouse observed that the lady’s car window had a crack across it to a greater extent than the one we have. My spouse then asked a clarifying question regarding the difference in service with a separate employee who was already outside. My spouse is naturally non-confrontational and maintains that she was respectful and even-toned during this exchange. The response provided by this employee was that they had mistakenly overlooked the window inspection for this customer, but would remedy the concern with a 2 year pass for us as well. My spouse reports this employee demonstrated excellent customer service and temperament. Assessment: While the initial issue was resolved, it was of no efforts from the front desk clerk/owner. I did call back to gain event clarity and information (explanation of service from their perspective/name/position title of the person who acted seemingly discriminatory against my spouse) recording the call for future use/personal protection. She immediately took offense speaking in an elevated tone (yelling) and projecting passive aggression in her verbiage. She took no accountability for her actions providing only excuses (i.e. her arm is injured and she shouldn’t have been at work b/c she doesn’t feel well) which did not seem relevant to the question asked. She even felt the need to insult my spouse, stating that my girlfriend (who’s actually my wife) should be ashamed of herself and is being unreasonable… to which I responded she should be ashamed in her lack of professional decorum presented today. She then “wished me well” and angrily hung up. My initial response was to file a discrimination complaint against the business as I am quite knowledgeable in that field… but my “unreasonable spouse” was the one who helped me settle for a review on every platform I can locate (to include social media accounts for airmen and families). Recommendation: Spend your money elsewhere. If that’s how the “owner” treats customers who hold them accountable to “standards” in minor situations, I would hate to see how she’d treat someone after rendering a service that might not meet customer expectations. A calm conversation, expressing genuine remorse for actions (if by mistake as originally claimed) might have yielded a different outcome. Now we may never know. Communication skills 0/10 Professionalism 0/10 Overall - 10/10 would NOT recommend - We won’t be returning and I will discourage any airman/person I come in contact with to do the same.

I called first because I wanted to get an inspection sticker and I had a simple question: "how much is it?" The lady that was working the desk was rude on the phone. I get she put someone on hold to talk to me, and wanted to get back to them. But she didn't have to take my call right there and then? I could've been politely told I would be on hold. No answer to just "how are you", sounded deadpan, and then I was cut off when she was asked that question about the sticker. I was honestly questioning when I walked in if I was even talking to the same person, because she seemed better when I actually walked inside. I got in and out there fast with exactly what I wanted, so I can't complain too much. But the way I was treated left a bad taste in my mouth, and made me hesitant about even coming in here in the first place.

I was walking down Barksdale boulevard in this immense heat and before I knew it a young lady with blonde hair who happens to work for Smiths came out and gave me a Powerade, she didn't know me from a can of paint but the fact that she came out and offered me something to drink in this hot weather speaks volumes about Smith's wrecker services and the employees there I thank God for her and I am grateful kudos to you sister. Keep being a beautiful person. God is pleased with you

Do not recommend this place they lie an try to con more days out your tow an over charge you . The lady trying to charge me for 3 days when my car got towed wed. Night on the 3rd an I came pick it up Friday morning the 5th car was there a day in an half an the ladie trying to charge me for 3days don't recommend Smith towing they lie an steal from you if you don't pay attention to your fees very unprofessional!!!!

Well, I was unable to go in because the hours posted said they close @ 3pm. I got there at 2:15 and they were closed. I called and was told "oh, we close early on fridays".

Great service. I'd recommend them highly. The driver put my car exactly where I asked him it was a tight squeeze but it was perfect.

The lady on the phone was so sweet and professional. I needed towing and they came super fast and were so incredibly nice. Highly recommend and will use their services again should I need them.

Very rude white lady in the office. Came in to receive inspection sticker. Could not get any service or greeting due to the lady on the phone yapping her mouth about personal issues. I was not greeted nor told it would be one moment before she serviced me. She just continued to talk on the phone as if I didn’t walk in and stand patiently for 5-10 minutes. Very rude customer service. Would not recommend!!

Have had to get my truck towed multiple times due to mechanical issues and they are always ready to help. They bill my insurance company directly so I don't have to do anything on my part. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a tow service. And everyone from the dispatch to the drivers are all professional and courteous!

I have used this company a few times. I will not use them again. They broke the oil pan on my car twice. The first time it was put off as the mechanics this second time it is definitely negligence.

Owners are always sweet and professional, they are trustworthy and believe in God, they also help feed the homeless so please drop non perishable items to them so they can help the homeless more. Great place for having your vehicle towed.

This is where my husband and I ALWAYS go to get our inspection stickers. It is owned and run by two smart, beautiful women who don't take anything off of anyone, but will always greet you with a big smile. These gals know their stuff.

This is a great repair shop and vehicle inspection place. I once had my truck totaled in an accident and they saved me a lot of money by restoring it. The service is wonderful and the beautiful girls in the office are sisters, as this is a family owned business.

This short, round, white woman with dark hair up there today was just soooooooo rude!!! I can't believe she's even allowed to work there. Miss "What part of we close at 5:00 did you not understand?" after there was a mutual understanding of the time of arrival. Get a new job since you obviously hate yours so much and don't take your piss poor attitude out on a customer.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, without a doubt. The 2 old women in the office are absolutely horrendous, lack even an ounce of respect, and will cheat you for more money in their pockets. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, ANYWHERE ELSE! (Monroe's Garage is next door)

Unfortunately, I was in a horrible accident, and this service towed my car. When I was able to retrieve my things from inside MOST OF IT WAS STOLEN: money, my tablet, etc!! I have so much to say, but will just end with this is a untrustworthy business. NO STARS! I had to click one in order for this to post.

candy and her sister are very rude. the both of them. I was serviced by a gentleman on Saturday my car was left on side of the road. I called them to come pick it up. told me it would be an hour or 2 tops. it took 4 hours for them to arrive, luckily I had a friend near by. then I was instructed to leave my keys so they can get in the car, as it was going to be later in the day and my car would be left on the side of the road overnight. I left my keys and door unlocked. they tow my car and locked my keys inside. I called them today the following Monday and told them that they accidentally locked me out and to have someone come out and unlock my door which they locked. Candy's sister got very rude with me and proceeded to quote procedure and that they train drivers to not lock car doors left onside of the road as its policy. I told her that I understand its policy but humans are fallible and make mistakes and that they need to come and correct the mistake. so she proceed to get rude and hang up on me when I called back to let management know of there rude employee the manager Candy gets on there and is just as rude. I asked her ultimately is this how they normally treat customers. I asked her what was the procedure that would happen if one of their servicemen accidentally locked a car. do they offer to correct the problem and she said and I quote, " No if the door is locked they will have to use the spare key. If they do not have the spare key they are out of luck and will have to call a locksmith." service was terrible I don't recommend them at all

My wife had an accident, they claimed that they had to wade through 2-3 feet of water to get to the car when it was no more than 6". They left the back bumper at the scene of the accident, when they dropped the car off after we paid a $700 bill they neglected to collect the front bumper and bring it with the car. We were way over charged and for the he price we paid they should have collected every piece of the car and made sure it ended up where it was supposed to go

I used this service through Geico, my insurance company and how refreshing was it to have such professional service!! I recently used amother local company that did a horrific job, the owner cursed me out, very rude and unprofessional! Mr. Robert, was the tow man who responded. He was very friendly and explained step by step of what to expect next!! Great job guys, and thanks again!
