My nephew lives in Connecticut and while visiting, he took his car there for repairs. It was scheduled to be dropped off on June 1st and told it would take about 2 weeks. While driving by, we noticed his car was still sitting in the same spot and had not been moved. My nephew was told other cars took priority over his (this was 2 weeks later and he had a scheduled appointment). Three weeks now passed and no repairs were done. My nephew told them he had to be back in Connecticut before the end of the month and they assured him it would be ready on June 23rd. While heading back to Connecticut at 1:00 am on June 24th, the car broke down on him before he could make it to Leesville. The sad part about all of this is, my nephew supplied all of the parts and only paid for labor that obviously didn’t happen. A broken promise and bad business practices. This place is a disgrace and it is my intent to hire an attorney to sue them and spread this information to show their bad business practices.
Honestly, God sent. Brand new car completely died and the guy who showed up was extremely nice and respectful. He tried to see if he could figure out what was wrong with it while we waited for my parents to meet us to pick my son up. Brought me to dealership and made sure I was taken care of and in a rental before leaving. I cant thank them enough.
171 Towing was so great to me. The staff there was kind and the customer service skills were great. I must give a "shoutout"to Mr. Kevin. I left something so very important and you made sure it was returned. Lord knows. I appreciate you so much.
Would highly recommend. Reasonable on prices and honest with you. Can work on classics or newer vehicles. Be patient with them they work slow, but its 100% right.
I've used Mr. & Mrs. Poteet, 171 Automotive since 2011. April has run the front desk for years and she is Amazing! Any job I've brought to them they've fixed it the first time! This last go around I because my passenger side was leaking rusty water and they needed to replace a water pump! Then I asked for an alignment Chris replaced All the parts that it needed to make that happen, checked the entire front end, shocks and struts needed to be replaced, it rides like a dream! Thank You
I highly recommend this place!!! It was well after hours when I needed to be towed. The man, presumably the owner, left his dinner to come take my info, and set up when and where I wanted my vehicle towed. He was very efficient and friendly!! I am very satisfied
I had a wonderful experience. If you need a part, they compare companies to get you the best price for what you are looking for! All the staff are nice, & are 100% honest. There is a lady at the front desk, her name is April. She is so sweet. So if you need anything for your car, give them a call. You won't regret it!
Horrible owner out to get anyone he can. Will lie when the truth sounds better! Stay away! Beware of Owner lies and manipulations signs need to be posted.
Looked at my vehicle & detected its problem quickly. April in the office was great explaining the issues & gave me the costs. They fixed it right then & I will be back to fix a seperate issue soon. Call & make an appointment. You won't be disappointed in them! My dad has only used them with all of their vechiles the past 14+ years with nothing but good praise.
My husband had them do mechanical work to two vehicles and he ended up having to go somewhere else to fix their mess up which cost him 1700 more than it should have. And they don't stand behind their work. Don't get them to change Gears you will regret it.
