TLDR: If you need help anywhere near Corbin, KY; there is only one call you need to make, and that's to Wallen's Towning & Recovery. Ask for Rambo. This guy is a certified badass and will take care of you solid. There's no one else you would rather have your back in that situation. Full Review: I was driving home late last weekend after vising my Army buddy in Fort Benning, GA. Long story short, I got cut off on the highway by some jabroni, caught the shoulder, and was immediately faced with two options... A) Slide down the side hill of an entrance ramp sideways, at speed, and probably roll my jeep. Or, B) Throw my nuts over my shoulder and ride straight down that hill like it owed me money... and I'm just going to be honest here, 'Option A' was an afterthought. I stayed rightside up throughout, however, I was unable to correct my angle in time and got stuck in bottom drainage ditch. My phone kept routing calls to my hometown, not where I actually was, and there was no one able to help me. I finally was able to start calling local garages, but had no luck. During this time, I watched a total of 5 wreckers go by me, 2 of which I got out and waved to. At one point, an officer passed me, and while this is the one time you would love an officier to stop, he didn't even look over. Nobody stopped to help me, even just to see if I was OK. That is, until Rambo drove by. He was the only one. He saw that I needed help, immediately swung his wrecker over, and got right to it. He talked to me and hooked everything up while the office took my information, and he had me out in NO TIME. This guy can work a wrecker, man, let me tell you. Plus, he didn't act like I was a burden to his night or even that I was stupid for ending up in that situation. He was only angry that he personally saw a couple of the wreckers that drove by me without stopping. His understanding, cool nature even calmed me down a great deal, especially during a stressful situation. We talked about our family's and the military for a little bit, and then he had me on my way. He even told me how to get the tow service reimbursed from my insurance. Talk about service. I know it sounds weird, but I was really happy to have met that guy, regardless of the circumstances. For as messed up as this world seems to be, there are still some really great people out there, and Rambo at Wallen's Towing and Recovery is certainly one of them. 11/10, highly recommend.

Highly recommend! Rambo was a God sent. I was beyond stressed after totaling my vehicle with my son, dog and 3 pet snakes with me. I was 4 hours from home pretty upset and obviously stressing where I was gonna go n sit to wait for someone to get to us. He reassured me that he would get me off the side if the road and help find me somewhere to go. He did the calling to help find me a hotel that would allow my pets. He was so kind, just an all around very nice guy. I am so thankful for him and his kindness towards me and my son and for all of his help. I also realized once i made it back home the only thing i forgot in my vehicle while cleaning it out was my eye glasses. I called and asked if they would possibly mail them to me and without hesitation the gentleman on the phone told me he would drop them in the mail for me. I'm really so thankful for all these guys here. I highly recommend anyone around the area of Corbin, KY to use this towing company if ever in need of any of their services. The gentleman & the (forth generation of the Wallen family) came to my rescue yesterday in Corbin after I accidentally locked ? my keys in my car. I tried over a hour calling several numbers including the police ? department for help with no luck. His price was double the amount that I had in cash with me. I just didn’t know what I was going to do. He said calmly “you can calm down now, I got you covered” He treated me with respect and kindness in a professional way. That’s something that is not common anymore! As I got in & grabbed my keys ? and I was on my way, but not before I told him I could almost hug his neck for being so kind..I would definitely give him & his company a 5 star rating for professionalism and integrity.

0.8 miles from there shop to where vehicle was to be picked up. Another 0.1 miles to where it was to be unloaded. Rate $275.00 and let me tell you the little short bald dude. He gets all kinds of pissy when he gets told no. Tried to claim I must of been an impound or repo person. Trust me sir you’ve never towed for me or ever will. Boltons towing showed up super nice gentlemen and he came all the way from Lily 95.00. And traveled probably 10 times the distance. I know crooked when I see it and the sad part is it’s your business. If you wanna charge ridiculous prices that’s completely your choice but don’t cry and wine when someone calls you out on it. So to anyone looking you want a professional tow call Boltons and refuse at wrecks you don’t have to use Wallens Towing.

I never wish a breakdown on anyone, but if you do break down in southern Kentucky don't hesitate to contact Wallen Towing & Recovery. They were responsive, professional, and treated us and our vehicle with great care. Thank you to 'Rambo' for his excellent service.

Had a tire blow out on I75 last night about 7 pm. I called a friend who recommended Wallen's Towing. I was on the phone with the owner within minutes, and a driver was there shortly after. The driver was professional, and friendly. He towed my vehicle off the interstate and changed the tire for me. Cannot say enough about how professional, friendly, courteous, and quickly they had me back on the road. Exceptional service all the way around.

Awesome service! My friend and I had a flat tire today and they came to our rescue. He came to air it up, but didn't have enough air in his tank. He left to fill his tank and was right back to get us on the road! Thank you so much! Definitely good people!

Indeed, a very strange towing service. I called them in evening because I needed a tow. Girl didn’t immediately understand what I was saying. I believe this is a country of immigrants, and in this country, everyone has different accents. She simply hung up the phone and didn't even try to understand me. I called 2 more times, but she didn't answer me. Guys, especially those from IL trucking companies, beware of them. If they behave like this before even starting the job, imagine what they could do at the end when they drop your truck off at the point of delivery. UPD 1: they responded to my review, but this is a lie.

busted my tire today; i’m 17 and i didn’t know what to do as i’m still a new driver. they were very attentive, helped calm me down and walked me through what to do. they even made sure i had air conditioning since its summer and it was rather hot out. very appreciative of their help and even more grateful of them!

They were wonderful with my daughter. They checked on her and were very polite.

My car broke down today on I 75 2 miles from exit 38 northbound called Wallens. Dispatch sent Mr. Rambo after me. He was there within the hour. Was very professional, very attentive to my needs, and most of all was very considerate of my vehicle, and making sure it wasn’t damaged in the process. Amazing guy all around. But this is a trustworthy and honest group from what I can tell. You will be in good hands.

My vehicle was stolen by thieves, not impounded. Your towing fee was $800.00 from Whitley County to Whitley County according to KSP. Without proper insurance to replace pickup, I guess it was stolen permanently by this company. Theres got to be a better way. It is my loss and I'm a grown woman to accept that loss but I will discuss it.

I have known the Wallen Family Just about all my life. Of course they are the one I would call when in need of a tow. there well known for there service to the community for so many decades. The driver ( Rambo) Arrived quickly to tow my wife’s car. Her car was towed safely to our auto service And the cost was very reasonable. 5 stars earned.

Rambo is absolutely one of a kind. My boat and trailer got hit during a hit and run, which lodged my trailer wheel under the fender well and jammed it up pretty bad to where it was gonna be impossible to get it home. Rambo was passing by and stopped on a dime to jump out and assist. He began working on the trailer wheel to dislodge it and got it completely set back in place so that I could tow the boat on back home. Without his help and kindness I’d still be sitting on the side of the road, because there was no way that trailer was making it home. God bless that man because you definitely don’t get to meet many people these days as genuine as he is. Wallens sure has a top notch employee with him on their side. Best service I’ve ever received!

We were involved in a hit & run while pulling our boat. The other driver swerved onto our side of the road, hitting and destroying our boat and boat trailer. Causing the wheel to be completely crushed into where we couldn't move it. We were stranded at night in the cold! Wallens tow truck just so happened to be passing by and stopped to help. Rambo was the driver, and he immediately got to work on helping get the wheel popped out and in working condition. The fella was so incredibly nice and helpful that I will NEVER use another tow service. From now on I will ONLY use Wallens. Just because of our experience with Rambo. Very genuine guy who couldn't have passed by at a better time. I recommend Wallens 100% and will spread the word to all friends and family. Very blessed to have met him. Great company with astounding morals ?

Amazing people. We had stopped for dinner on our way home from camping when a man decided to steal some of our bags from the back of our pickup. Word got out to the Wallen's and they stopped by to see if they could help, they even went to look in some dumpsters and areas they thought the man might have trashed the stuff. If we are ever back in the area and need any services they offer we would not hesitate to call. Definitely helped make a bad situation a little better. Thank you!

We had an accident of I75. One of their trucks happen to pass and they took it upon themselves to check on us. They towed us to the shop, provided a ride to get a rental and took care of all the towing charges with the insurance company. While I waited I met the nicest man in the lobby, turned out to be the owner. We had a lovely chat about his car collection, looked at pictures. What a great bunch of people!!! Your services & personable nature is top notch!!!!! Thanks a bunch❤️

This place is awesome bc the people are extremely helpful and they won't charge TOO much for towing. They are extremely polite and take care of your vehicle while it's in their care. I would highly recommend that you use their services when needed. They have some cool cars there too:)

Our family has always used Wallen's towing. My SUV broke down on me on 25E and I was in danger because my SUV was not far enough off the road. Danny sent them out to get me very quickly . The driver even let me use his arm as i am disabled . Wonderful service from Daniel and His driver. May God continue to bless them!

This Company is AMAZING! The service is AMAZING! I have been in two wrecks and requested them Both times and they have gone above and beyond to do everything they can for me and my car. I highly highly recommend this place if you are ever in an accident or need your car towed. They have amazing customer service and really know how to do their jobs. If I could give them ten stars I would. Both times I was not let down in any way!!

Although I haven't taken advantage of their towing and recovery services, we did return a recently rented U-Haul to these guys and they were super nice super understanding and help us with everything we had questions with even when U-Haul itself had failed to provide us with a hand truck that we had rented, it was refunded. If you ever need a tow I would definitely recommend these guys they are nice and very professional.

These guys are amazing. After a accident my family and were involved in they, were quick to respond. First a gentleman in a company pick-up arrived, even before the police, to make sure everyone was OK and see what would be needed. Followed by a small car to transport my family to the car rental office, then the wrecker shortly after. They moved quick to load and we were on our way to the rental office tow truck, passenger vehicle and all. They walked in to the rental office to make sure everything was square with them. Finally off to the shop to drop off the wrecked vehicle. They lowered the car down and even helped move our luggage from one car to another. They have since kept in touch and were quicker than the insurance companies to check in. Really an amazing group of people.
