I bought a 1999 jeep xj in April of 2024. The process was super easy and the people are some of the friendliest cars people I’ve ever delt with. No pressure and I think I was in and out in about 15 minutes. The jeep has been great and nothing unexpected for a 25 year old car. Great people and great service. Also a more than fair trade in value of my Tacoma.

We wanted to give Schurr Auro a wonderful review. We had never purchased a vehicle from another state. But the minute we called and spoke to Ori he put our doubts to rest. Ori was very helpful in navigating us through what we needed to do. He was always available to us via text or phone call to answer any questions or concerns we had! WOW!!! I don't know where to begin with explaining how amazing my experience was without rambling ha-ha. I traded in my one-owner 2012 GMC Yukon for the 83 Chevy G20 van they had, and the experience was mind-blowing! Too easy and good to be true for how services are nowadays! Firstly, Ori and his father were so extremely friendly and welcoming to me and my friend. We drove down from West Virginia to look at this van, and I have to say it is one of the greatest memories I will have in my memory bank haha!! They gladly handed us the keys to check it out and we took off! Van is great for its age and his mechanic was out sick and assured us all the maintenance was up to code which it was. I told him I was wanting to trade in my GMC for it, so he checked it out and with no hesitation or fight gave me the value I wanted for it! Nothing like dealing with a dealership...the transaction was so smooth and near flawless it was too good to be true, but then it got better!! Me and my friend hop in the van to drive back the 4 hours to WV when 5 mins down the road the right front tire is smoking and the wheel is pulling hard right! I call up Ori and he answers right away, with no hesitation tells me to come back and he will call his mechanic, who was out sick, to see if he could come look at it...... first of all this NEVER HAPPENS!! Most places block your calls after you drive off a lot, but not this one!!! We get back, and his angel of a mechanic comes in sick, but sweet as hell, and gets it fixed for us!!! Ori even gives me cash to get the issue replaced if need be!!! AMAZING!! And so so sweet!! We are stoked and excited and hit the road, to then have it happen to the left side 5 minutes down the road haha, but I call Ori again and he is a sweet angel and tells us to come back even though him and his mechanic were all closed up to leave!!! We get back and they are so nice and understanding and get the left side ready in no time! The van was in great shape, If I remember it was the break calipers had just been a little stuck from sitting for so long with this heat. (Don't quote me on verbage I'm not fimiular with all car parts) But all in all a minor quick fix :-) While we waited, we all laughed it up, chatted and reminisced about old stories we had from life and the whole experience was so badass and amazing, the kind of things that rarely happen in life now! Expecially at a car sales buisness :-) His mechanic gets everything good to go and then some to make sure our trip back is safe and it definetly was! The van was flying on the highway at 75 nearly the entire way! Beautiful quality van and so greatful and lucky for my amazing experience with them! :-) Anyone thinking about purchasing a car from them should know you are getting quality from the vehicles to the customer service, and their interpersonal communication!!! The experience so so cool and magical and now I have that attached to this vehicle which will last my lifetime:-) I am so greatful to you guys and forever thankful for the amazing experience, van and memories you have gave me which are truly RARE AND PRICELESS!:-)

There aren't too many people in the used car business that I consider good people. I found this to be the total opposite. The vehicle that I test drove was a good vehicle, Meghan, his associate, was excellent, and the process was easy and simple. Also, there are several interesting vehicles on the lot. It's worth checking out. Regardless, take a look in Crestwood for a car! Schurr probably has something you may like and they are good people.

Most of my experience has been with big box dealerships. It either just happens to be where I found the vehicle or a false sense of feeling some sort of protection from getting a lemon car with issues. My husband is very specific in the color, miles, type of car so it can be like finding a needle in a hay stack. We found one at Schurr which is an hour away. I read the reviews prior but still was not sure as we pulled in the lot. Yet, opening the door to the office was a shocker...I was immediately calmed as Ori spoke. I admit I was still a little hesitant thinking anyone can be nice, put on a good front and still sell you a lemon but I still had a very good feeling as we spoke before test driving the car. Upon returning, I felt like the deal was very smooth and honest. I could also see Ori's true passion and love for the business...not just making a deal but creating happy, satisfied customers. The conversation and comradery with Ori and his father while finishing up the deal and paperwork was beyond pleasant and a joy. The next vehicle we need, we will inquire if he can find it for us. It was a true pleasure and wonderful experience.

It's been a month since I purchased my Miata from Schurr Auto, it was an experience like no other lol. Ori's customer service was above and beyond. The staff at Schurr did not rush me and were very patient with me. I take my time as a buyer and they were okay with that. I got the car for a very affordable price and I've not had any major issues in the month I've had it (driven 500+ miles). To reiterate, the customer service was superb and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Getting a car from here is truly like working out a deal with a friend. I was in the search for a new car for the first time and came across a beautiful Ford Fusion on cars.com that I ended up calling about, even though I'm definitely someone that gets anxious over phone calls. I am immensely glad I made that call, though! I came for a test drive the same day I made the call and immediately knew I would be making a purchase. A combination of the way conversation/interaction with Ori went, really liking the car, and appreciating the good deal made me confident in my purchase. Within 36 hours, I had everything set up and taken care of mostly thanks to Ori, who worked to get me financed through a Credit Union so that I could get the best possible deal. A couple of days after I drove my car home, I ended up having an issue with my car not starting, but I talked to Ori about it and he and his mechanic helped fix the issue within a few hours, even driving out to my place of work to troubleshoot the cause of the problem. A weak battery was presumed at fault and they took care of replacing it for me. Both of my parents (who helped me with transportation and co-signing) and I agreed this was the best possible way to experience a used-car purchase, or a car purchase at all. I'm incredibly glad I found this place and team. This has been an incredibly joyful experience for me and when I ever need a car again, I plan to come back here if it's reasonable in comparison to where I live. I wouldn't mind driving a few hours to get here for another car, their service is that good.

Will 100% call here first when I need to get a car for my wife. The owners are extremely helpful, understanding, and keep the communication line open whenever possible! Bought my Tahoe with ease after nearly a year of searching, and it was one of the best purchases I've made so far! Yeah, it had some small repairs that needed to be done. But that was nothing compared to how smooth the experience was. Highly recommended!

Initially, the Edmonds detailed ad with 40 photos of the 2014 Toyota Tacoma with 6.4K miles drew me in. Historically, I have done dozens of hours of research and performed intensive searches lasting 1 to 3 months. I’ve scoured websites almost daily, test drove local vehicles, checked blue book values, compared resale vales, referenced Consumer Reports reliability history charts, read car reviews, and made numerous out-of-state phone calls to find the best high-value vehicle located east of the Mississippi and preferably in the South. My campaign to purchase a Toyota Tacoma pickup for my 16 year old daughter, took only 8 days, which I largely attribute to the son of A. Schurr & Son Auto Sales and the good fortune of the timing of my search. Ori’s sincerity, ethics, and honesty made my decision to buy a sight-unseen vehicle, 600 miles away, the easiest of the 13 used cars I had bought for myself and others over the last 40 years! I’ve lived in the Washington DC area my entire life. A healthy dose of skepticism and caution comes with the territory, and is essential when purchasing a new or used car here. The markups are high, the “pre-owned” car dealerships are plentiful, and honest, upfront deals are scarce. Prior to buying the pickup, I had only purchased through a car dealership 3 times, 2 earlier out-of-state dealers in FL and NC. The latter tirelessly countered my refusals to purchase an additional warrantee, a clear coat, and other pricey dealer add-ons. My experience with a Maryland dealer 22 years ago was the absolute worst. It could easily be presented as a nightmare story in a documentary covering used car sales — ever have a dealer try to repossess the car you had bought and paid for 2 weeks prior? Well, my experience purchasing the Toyota pickup through A. Schurr & Son Auto Sales couldn't have been more different. One pleasant surprise was the drive-it-off-the-lot-price was the advertised price — thousands below book accounting for the mileage. Another, was that Ori and his father delivered the car to my hotel near the Louisville airport where I arrived the night before. This saved me the aggravation of an expensive taxi ride and we closed the deal in the hotel lobby. It couldn’t have been more convenient, talk about service! Two and a half months later my DMV appointment to register the truck came around. Ori had been up front about the heritage of the vehicle ownership and the path it took to be sold to me. What I had not realized was that additional paperwork was required to have the title legally transferred. Ori had known and included all the documentation necessary to make the titling and registration process go smoothly. As if I had not already been convinced that purchasing the pickup through Ori couldn’t have been better this icing on the cake made it impossible to ever have a better used vehicle buying experience — unless I bought my next car from him as well. Thank you Ori and thank your father for taking care of this customer the way I would want to sell it to someone had our roles been reversed, e.g., honest and openly, with pleasure, patience, and sincerity. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, I drove the Tacoma pickup 9 hours to get home and have been completely satisfied with it since buying it in early May this year. This is the best car buying experience we've ever had! Here is our story: We are from North Carolina and we were visiting Ohio. I was searching for a used Yukon Denali XL when Schurr Auto Sales popped up with one for 90,000 miles and the best price I'd seen in my 6 months of research (but 4.5 hours away)... I called and they sent me additional pictures and videos because they knew I was from out of town. They also allowed me to put a refundable down payment on the car to hold it until we could drive there a few days later. We arrived and the car was exactly as described with no surprise issues! Both father and son are first class, honest people. They gave us the keys and let us drive it around like any dealership would, however, they did not once try to "sell us" this car, they gave us plenty of time to look at it in private with absolutely no sales pitches. We arrived at the dealership with our three kids, dog, and cat on a very hot summer day and we were more than comfortable letting our kids and pets hang out in their air conditioned office while we looked at the car. We had to wait an hour or so for our bank to clear the funds over to them so they even gave us a great restaurant recommendation- haha! We will from now on be traveling from Asheville, North Carolina anytime we want to buy a car and getting it from them because that's how worth it it is to be able to buy from honest, good-hearted people, especially when you have thousands of dollars of your savings on the line!

SALES AND SERVICE 5 STARS Schurr Auto I had been shopping for a “new” vehicle for several months, looking at web sites and visiting dealerships and small auto sales businesses. I felt the sales people at the other businesses were only interested in a sale and didn’t want to talk about the vehicles in which I was interested. The vehicles in which I was interested the only information I was offered was minimal at best. The various sales people stated all of the vehicles were in “tip top” shape. I was resigned to the probability that I would have to buy a vehicle “blind” and hope for the best so I chose to not buy anything. I was forced to continue my search due to car problems and came upon Schurr Automotive. I visited in person finding the ”perfect” vehicle for me. When I visited the business both owners were available to discuss, at length, the vehicles on the lot, including test driving the vehicles. They offered information as to previous repairs that were completed as well as possible future repairs that might be required. I believe the Schurr Automotive owners treated me fairly and honestly. I did not expect a “deal” but I was satisfied with the asking price for the vehicle I chose. I believe I received value for the money spent. Several days later I received a call from Ori asking if I was satisfied with the vehicle, if there were any problems with the vehicle, and encouraged me to follow up with him should I have any questions about the vehicle I purchased. Now that’s what I call good customer service.

Just purchased a great 1997 Toyota RAV4 these guys had available. Went on a test drive with no issues and no pressure to buy. I genuinely got to learn the car on my own basis. Once we sat down to talk about price, the owners were professional, honest, straightforward, and accommodating. We decided on a fair price and that was it. I never once felt like I was being screwed over or taken advantage of. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. My wife and I were proud to support these guys and I think you will be too.
