Employees were super helpful in diagnosing an issue with an engine misfire, with product suggestion, tools and a step stool. Even offered my husband a cold drink while he was working on a fix. That is what customer service is all about. We were hours from home on a Sunday - no service centers open. Answered prayers. Thankful they were able to help get us back on the road!!
I went in for a battery test and Dereke and Chevy were super helpful, kind, and professionals. They looked at my heavily corroded battery and did not judge me. Instead they kindly offered advice and help. They then changed my battery for me in the rain! They truly understand that their business is a people business and provided excellent customer service! If you have any auto parts need I would head to the advanced auto parts in Crestwood and let them take care of you and your vehicle!

I have only great things to say about Robert, who works at this store. My SUV wasn't starting, and Robert happily tested my vehicle, installed a new battery, and kept working on my 'check engine' light issue until it was resolved. A+ location and I won't go anywhere else!
Let me say that the review is because of the commercial manager, Tim. HE is the one who needs to be running this place.
My husband and I came in and spoke with MaLinda at first. She is apparently the GM and I’m not sure why she was the pick of the litter.. This lady knows NOTHING about cars or parts so how is she running this place. She directed every single question to Tim.
Clearly your hiring manager needs to make sure his employees know cars considering it’s an auto part store… this is just embarrassing for AAP.
Generally they have knowledgeable folks working in the store. They almost always have the parts I need, even for a 2003 vehicle. Good supplies of sanding and finishing products. Excellent supply of the various fluids for vehicles
Ok... I hope the employees that helped me out today read this!!! I needed a battery for my Jeep key fob, and these guys were more than happy to assist me! To be honest, I was beginning to freak out, but the two guys working there today at about 1pm, they made my day! Please acknowledge these two guys???? They are what businesses need, great customer service reps! They know who they are, and I want to give a huge thank you to them! Thanks guys!
Went to this Advance after Napa didn't have the master cylinder fitting I needed. Mike at Advance took the time to help me look through the fittings they had to find the correct one. Mike is an asset to the team there and I hope he is treated as such. I will be back to this store for sure.
Needed a new hose for my car to get it running again. They were able to help me out and had loaner tools I could use WITHOUT having to pay a deposit. Now I'm able to do what I need to without having to get a ride or use car rental.
I always come here if we need parts. I ended getting a timing belt kit, and the kit failed way earlier than expected. They already knew of the problem, and were trying to get everyone to push for the company to fix their issues. They gave us a replacement free of charge once we showed them the part failure and proof of purchase. Very happy with their service!
I stopped in the other day to have my charging system checked. The guy went over all the steps with me and checked everything thoroughly and gave me a printed results ticket. I was curious what other stores computers would say so I had 2 other stores check everything. I was surprised to realize none of the other stores (even advance in Lagrange) tested everything as thoroughly as this location did. None of the other stores even gave me a printed copy of the results. This was the only location to check voltages with no load, at idle and under load, lights on/off etc. Everywhere else just said "it's good".
I use this excellent vendor for oils, lubricants, batteries, tie down equipment, tools, wiping and cleanup shop type items, and some non OEM parts for farm vehicles and our personal vehicles. They are comparative on prices, very helpful with suggestions and how to tips. Never once walked out of their place with an item I have had to return.
They welcome vets and hire local staff. Good place to shop. Check them out next time auto items needed.
Not a good experience ... I need a fuse .. The guy didn't seem to know more than I do .. Didn't buy the fuse from them . he said ill sell. U the fuse if u have some one to put it in.. Duh.. Not the first time it's happened to me there..
I had the best service at this store! I had a terrible week dealing with a competitor ( AutoZone Hikes point) had the worst experience ever. So I walk in the door, explain my problem with the starter, the man at the counter figured out that I had the previous year starter, ordered the part and I pick it up in the morning. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. I will NEVER use another parts business except Advanced ! Thank you very very much!!
Staff was extremely helpful. They replaced a faulty battery I had bought a year earlier from another Advance Auto and apologized for the inconvenience.
