I was stranded on the highway. The tow driver made sure I was safe and then secured my car with safety. He was so nice. I had to change where the car was being towed. He had me call into the office and work it out and he tried to help with the car battery. He helped me get the window covered because the start system failed and it would not work. Thank you for getting to me quickly and being so helpful.
Amazing service. My car was stuck on a rock ledge on the worst driveway and they did an amazing job getting it unstuck with minimal damage. They were fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. I don’t know the name of the driver who came out to save me tonight but he was great and I hope he knows that! I cannot recommend them enough!
They were amazing around 3am today. Called they said it was going to be a hour. Not even 30 mins later they came. Got the car and dropped it off quickly too. Lady on the phone was wondering and professional. Tow driver was also amazing and professional. 10/10 would recommend!!
Unbelievable. Careless and irresponsible. Simple flatbed transport for a car that was drivable for short distances. After delivery discovered they severely bent the tie rod making it undrivable, damaged the wheel and rocker panel. When I contacted them they accepted responsibility and paid for tie rod damage but denied body damage without any investigation. Was told the owner would contact me, made multiple attempts to discuss a resolution for the body damage with no return call or response. Extremely shady company, choose a different tow service if you don’t want more problems than you started with.
Troy’s came out to my office to get a car that had been sitting in our lot for a week or so. James was quick with getting it hooked up and out of site! They don’t charge us anything. Said the owner of the car would have to pay for the fees. Highly recommend this place!
An abandoned car had been on our private property for a week. Troy's is the only company we called that would tow on private residences. James came out within an hour to get the car at no charge to us! He was informative on the process. 10/10 recommend and will be using them again.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm not one to give bad reviews but this lady cut me off after explaining her my situation after she asked and yelled as if I was bugging her demanding my name. If you're in any type of an emergency which normally you are when you're in need of a tow truck company, they clearly don't care. They'll make a stressful situation worse. I wish I could rate it worse

"I called to ask about the daily fees for holding my car in impound and was met with unhelpful, dismissive service. The person I spoke to claimed it wasn't her job to know the standard daily fees, yet when I called back, she was the one to answer again. Given her role, it seems reasonable to expect she would have this basic information readily available or, at the very least, could handle the question with a bit more professionalism. Kindness and clear communication cost nothing, but they make a huge difference in customer experience. Very disappointed." DO NOT RECCOMEND ANYTHING ABOUT THEM
Rude. Lied about operating hours. Property damaged under their care. Outrageously expensive not even including the cost of the extensive repairs they've caused. Pretty sure they went through my belongings because the lock was pried from the door.
The pickup went smooth. I was going to try and walk home from back therpy,1.3 miles im 68yrs old. and they told me not to walk in the heat (90°) they went out of thier way to help a senior very impressed
The staff was kind and professional each time I spoke with them. They even took the time to air up my tire for me despite that not being part of the service provided/paid for. So kind. 10/10 recommend!
I was rear-ended on I 65 and transported to to hospital. Shepherdsville police had this company tow my car. I talked to them from the hospital informing them that it would be a while before I could come up and get the car/my stuff out of it. The person that hit me had no insurance so between multiple Dr visits for my injuries and missed work it took me a while to scrap up the money to get another car In the meantime without any of my knowledge they had added fees everyday and I had amassed a bill well in excess of $1000 and they couldn't find my car. A day after this I got a call saying the found it but I had to pay a minimum of $200 to get my stuff out of it. I told them then they could just scrap the car and asked if they needed the title and was told no they would handle it. Today I got a letter saying they put a lean on it for $2500 and were going to sell it and anything they didn't get from selling it they were going to sue me for. Thanks for kicking me in the teeth while I'm down.

I had to leave a 1 star because it’s not possible to leave zero stars. I called them at like 5:30 in the morning to tow my car and they took three hours before they called me to tell me that my car was stolen and gone. They didn’t even know where it was at despite all the directions I gave them over multiple phone. My family and I spent almost 2 hours calling around tow company’s and the police to find it. MY CAR WAS NOT STOLEN. It was in the same exact place I left it almost 5 hours earlier when I made the call to have it towed. Then when I finally got a different company to tow my car they showed up and said that they were going to charge me for a dry run. They charged me $51 for something they didn’t do. The charge doesn’t bother me as much as the fact that there was never any apology given to me for the panic they caused or for the fact that they didn’t even look in the right spot for it
Completely unprofessional driving and driving way to fast for conditions. It's pouring down rain and your speeding doing 80+ mph. It's so slick. Aa a wrecker you should know better. Then flashing your lights and acting a fool to those driving safe. It's completely unprofessional. If you have an emergency you still have to get there in safe manor. It's doesn't give permission to drive crazy tailgating and endangering other drivers!
Terrible place. I sold my bike and whoever bought it never put it in their name so I did an incomplete transfer with DMV. The woman tried to tell me they got my info from the dmv so I called the dmv and they said no she didn’t. They can find who the last registered owner was but if the person you sale it to doesn’t register it they send the bill to last person. So I told her all this and she hung up. Terrible business.
Troy's Wrecker Service did us right in a time of need. The company and driver were very professional and compassionate about our situation. We broke down Thanksgiving day in Shepherdsville KY 200 miles from home and Troy's wrecker service got us home and did not take advantage of the situation when figuring the price. The price was fair and they came right to us and brought us and our jeep home. This company is top notch and the driver very professional respectful and took care of our vehicle the entire trip. Clean trucks, clean driver and was a good ride home. We can honestly say all experiences in those 2 days made it the best Thanksgiving we have had in a long time. This business goes above and beyond to help their customers. I was able to get a sick Jeep towed to a shop during one of the busiest days. I called everyone. No one could come. I hadn't heard of Troy's. I have now. They came quickly and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.
We have a steep driveway, our truck slid down on the ice and ended up on our retaining wall. We called Troy's, they were highly recommended by our insurance company. Brent came out and was very professional, and skilled. He was able to get the truck off the wall without damaging truck or retaining wall. Would highly recommend!
Troy’s illegally removed my legally parked vehicle from a public road at the request of a spiteful neighbor. No questions asked, they just came and got it. I thought my vehicle had been stolen, so I deleted it and have been looking for it for 2 weeks. Insurance was about to pay on my claim when I found out Troy’s had been in possession of my vehicle the whole time. I’ve been without my vehicle for two weeks, and the only paperwork Troy’s would produce was an invoice for $465. My battery was dead when they finally released it to me, and they declined to help with the jump. My only legal recourse is to take them to small claims court.

I have old cars, so I have used Troy's multiple times. Roadside assistance through my insurance provider and customer pay, they have always been courteous and prompt. In the single case that the tow was delayed, they politely kept me informed. The best part is my cars were always handled with care. Thank you.
Hired my husband let him train with them then his car broke down the next day he politely asked for a day as we were getting a new car but unfortunately he was told to seek employment else where. They have no humanity and or sympathy, he told me about how careless they handle the cars and how rude they are about the customers behind their back and how rude the employees talk about the owner. And to top it off they are trying to give him the run around about picking up his check which is under 100$ as a human being my conscience and being a good standing citizen will not allow me to use this service and strongly suggest with choosing another tow company
This company deserves zero stars!!! I called yesterday at 9 am to pick my car up from my house. The car would not start and I needed to get it tolled. My insurance company recommended them because Troy's will bill them rather than the customer.. I called through out the day and was told emergencies come first. I was told at 2 pm that the wrecker was 5 miles away. I called back at 330 and was told that the wrecker was sent to a police call and I could be put back on the list again. HORRIBLE customer service as well as wrecker service. I contacted another service this morning and the service was awesome. You guys need to change your recording. Its very deceiving
Troy's Wrecker Service has failed me two times.
First a few years ago during a cold snap where the temperature was below zero for several days, I was parked on the second level of a parking garage and my car wouldn't start. My State Farm contracts with Troy's for roadside assistance. When I called Troy's, I explained that my car was in a parking garage, that a smaller tow truck was required and gave the ceiling height. Three days and six tow trucks later, I ended up pushing my car out onto the street and a friend called AAA. for me. Each driver was very rude and did not offer to call the office to explain they couldn't help and to send a smaller truck to help.
Second, I was leaving a friend's house on a Sunday morning after a 6 AM workout class and my battery was dead. When I called Troy's, the receptionist said that they didn't have a driver come on the clock until 10 AM. So, much for 24-hour service. I asked to be put on the list for a driver to come out and in the meantime, I'd try to jump it myself. At 10 AM, I called back to see where I was on the list, the receptionist said that she didn't put me on the list and now there were a bunch of people in front of me. I re-explained that I till needed help. She said that she'd call me back a few minutes later with a driver's ETA. Troy's must be really busy because it is now Wednesday and I still haven't gotten a call back with an ETA. Thankfully, I was able to get the car started myself.

Towed my car at 5:30am because my sticker said my tags were expired but if they would have looked it up like they’re supyto they would have known my tags were not expired, anyone can peel a sticker off. Then when we called at first they said they didn’t have my car so I called the cops and they said they had it so we called again and then they suddenly realized they did have it. William the truck driver was rude on the phone, the owner said he would call my dad and never did, so I called them and William yelled at me and said we didn’t need to speak to the owner and that it would do no good and he wouldn’t speak to us. Went to pick up my car and the fees were $140 for storage and no key fee because they took it in the middle of the night and without the keys it’s harder to steal. They took it on Sunday at 5:30am and we’re about to not give it to us until Monday because they said they don’t work on Sundays to give people their cars back. And if we had picked it up on Monday it would have been another $30. I do not recommend. Their business is very sketchy and disrespectful.
