I found out 6 months later they sold my trash car to some poor couple a hunk of junk for $1500 without clearing the title. They started showing up on my door step because they screwed them and they couldn't get title in their name. I junked the title again. The junkman called to threaten me. I told him he could talk to my lawyer and that couple might want to talk to the lawyer too. Now two years pass and I receive a lien notice from a tow company. Talked to county clerk. She remembered me and this stupid case. I had indeed junked it ... but whatever you do. Don't trust these people.
Now another year has passed. I'm still getting bothered by what they did with my scrapped car.
If you're looking for parts for Honda from 2018 or later, they don't have any parts to solve your issue, but despite that their personal give you good advice to solve your questions
Waiting around 45m from out of town after speaking multiple people to get information on a engine trying to purchase they where waffling around to getting the vin # which they should have right SHADY!.
Bad.
I called one day last month to see if they had a rear bumper for my (pretty rare and hard to find parts for) car. I was told they'll "check on it and call back" and took down my number.
Waited a week, heard nothing.
I called again to check if they'd found it. "Yes we have it..." So I asked, "Is it damaged at all?" And was literally told, "We can't tell you that, you have to see for yourself." "That's not an easy task for me, saying as I live over two hours away." I told him. So he sighs and dejectedly says they'll check and call me back. They took down my number.
Waited a week, heard nothing.
Realizing that I'm not getting anywhere, I decide I'm just gonna drive down there, since no one closer has the bumper. So I wait a few weeks until my work schedule allows me to make the drive, just hoping it's not damaged.
This morning I call back at 9:05am (they open at 9). I'm interrupted immediately, "NO OPEN NOW. CALL BACK IN 30 MINUTES. *hang up*"
Interesting... So I call back at 9:50 (just in case they're still "no open") "Hey I'm about to drive down there and just wanted to make sure you still have that bumper." So he tells me, "Let me just get my hands on it and really confirm we still have it."
I wasn't expecting much at this point for obvious reasons. So I decided if they didn't call me in an hour, I was just gonna make the drive, since I had the day off.
Then the most unpredictable thing happened: they called me back! "Yeah man we already crushed that car."
... Nice
So they either crushed it before my original call and didn't keep track of their inventory, or they crushed it after I said I needed it. Neither of which is a better option.
P.S.: 135 Auto was the heaven to this hell.
Worst place to get your car fixed. Full of junkies sitting around nodding off. I was told i would be able to come get my car the same day & its been over a week! DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY SERVICE
The best junkyard on the face of this planet. The short little grey headed old guy that works the counter will talk your ears off if square dancing is mentioned. .... You'll be very happy with the service you'll get here as long as you have just a little love in your heart for a good ole square dance conversation. Bless his little heart....
We came from Lexington to buy a transmission. Turns out we bought the wrong one. They were happy to honor their 30 day warranty by exchanging it out for us. They pulled another transmission off a car and let us know that it was actually a bad transmission, so they pulled a second one off and that one ended up being bad too. I appreciated their honesty, rather than wasting our time and money. We drove back to Louisville and received a full cash refund with no troubles. I would definitely go there again. I wanted to make sure I left a review after reading so many negative ones, i felt like they deserved this.
Kenny and his crew are top-notch when it comes to knowledge, patience, and taking care of their customers.... the environment was very clean considering it was indeed your average salvag yarhd b...he atmosphere was easygoing yet everyone was knowledgeable and very helpfulthere was one particular employee by the name of Mike he went above and beyond to not only show me kindness but also made me laugh. A double l Auto salvage will be my first go to every time I am in meaning of anything mechanical! You go boys keep up the good work
Had my vehicle at 2 different shops, got told two completely different problems with 2 very high cost estimates. Then came here. Kenny had my vehicle fixed the next day, with a very reasonable price and him and his staff very friendly. I will never go to a different shop again. Highly recommended!
Kenny's a lil abrasive but that's just who he is lol. He's still pretty fair and treats you with respect. His employees are attentive and helpful. Good experience...
Owner is a super nice guy...Its not fake or a line of BS to get your bizz....He makes ya feel welcome and knows its all about you...The customer....awesome place
