DJ who claims he's an owner in one paragraph and then in the next paragraph claims he's just a tow truck driver and isn't responsible for stealing any vehicle has the credit of stealing an emergency services vehicle while the staff or they're working they had permission from the homeowner to be parked where they were parked in a shared driveway as well as a permit from the state allowing them to block the driveway The neighbor didn't like it so DJ here just a tow truck driver shows up and takes the vehicle illegally The state of Kentucky says you can charge $138 a day no more no less for the tow bill and $30 a day after 24 hours has passed for storage that is what you can charge it is state mandated for Kentucky DJ decides to tell me that I have to pay $165 to get my vehicle back today and that because the neighbor said he could take the vehicle he took it legally again we are emergency services providers who were providing emergency services to a home from the winter weather storms and had our vehicle taken from us by DJ here at Leo's tow company The neighbor then hit his own vehicle around the corner until police that we had his vehicle towed The wonderful Louisville Metro police then took action against the neighbor while DJ laughed calling the owner of the car stupid amd saying he can take any car that he is told to take . State law says otherwise . He also admitted to and committed the following price gouging , intimidation , vehicle theft , trespassing as the vehicle was located on private property not the neighbors property . He never notified the local authority the transportation department or the owner. Let's give this guy a big thumbs up for these great business practices. Legal action is being taken and I hope DJ receives some education before being released back into the public
While driving home, the serpentine belt unexpectedly failed, resulting in a complete loss of vehicle control. Although we had never used Leo’s Towing before, they promptly assured us a technician would arrive within 20 minutes. With temperatures at 19 degrees, I was forced to shut off the engine to prevent overheating due to the water pump no longer functioning, leaving us without heat. The technician who arrived, DJ, was not only timely and professional, but coincidentally someone I had attended school with—an unexpected and welcome surprise. I could not have been more pleased with the reliability, responsiveness, and overall quality of service provided. Thank you to Leo’s Towing and especially to DJ for the outstanding service.
DJ the night shift driver was amazing helping me retrieve my vehicle today! Would recommend him/this company to anyone who needs it. Hopefully i won't, BUT if I ever need another tow, DJ at Leo's will definitely be who I ask for!!! Quick, efficient, and amazingly friendly service!

Definitely recommend! My car broke down and I was stranded in a parking lot. Everyone I called said 2-4 hour wait with high tow costs. I reached out to Leo’s and spoke with Brian, he was able to offer a 15 minute pickup at an affordable cost. Give them a call if you need a tow!
Damian was absolutely an angel! He saved my daughter and I tonight. He was very professional and well mannered! Will definitely keep this company in mind if ever need rescued again. Other companies need to get some experience from these hard workers!
Highly recommend! I was helping a friend of mine move, and I left my flashers on for too long. Because I left them on for so long, my car wouldn't start. Luckily, Damien came out to my car within 20 minutes to jump it. The health of my battery was good and was able to continue helping with moving.
The guys were on time and took great care of my car. Everything was explained to me that would happen and that’s exactly what did happen. It’s great to get prompt and professional service!
I called five different towing companies and Leo's Towing was the only company that took care of me, let alone acted like they cared. Even on a busy day, they made sure I was taken care of, gave me a time on when they would be there and stuck to their word. Price was very fair for a battery boost. Quick, friendly service.
Note to self: Don't leave your keys in the ignition for 12 hours and drain your battery, but if you do, call Leo's.
Beware. I would not do business with this company. They run what equates to booting scams.
Response to below: Sir, there is a difference between doing what is legal and doing what is right/ethical. 1) The businesses that you claim you are working for were all closed. None of them open. Not one. So your comment below about parking being available for their customers is not accurate. 2) the signage that is posted in the area says “parking for these addresses” but there is no way to know which address goes with which business unless you park and go up to the door of each business to check the address. The business names are not listed on your signage. I can only assume that’s intentional on your part so that it’s not obvious and makes it more difficult on those trying to park. 3) I parked to get ice cream takeout from greaters for my kids and was only in greaters for 5 to 8 minutes max. In that time you already had my vehicle hooked up. None of the businesses that you claim to serve were open so they could not have called you. I have to assume that means you were sitting in your truck hidden and waiting for someone to park there. Furthermore, you didn’t “tow” my car as stated below. You simply hooked up to my vehicle and forced me to pay you $100 to unhook it. You can make easy money while waiting for legitimate help calls and then go hide and wait for the next person to make an honest mistake. Your actions may be legal but they are predatory and therefore not ethical in my opinion. Not even close. I believe that this practice is a scam and you just don’t like being called out for it. So I stand by my original post. In my opinion, I think you should be wary of doing business with companies who use unethical practices and I don’t agree with how your company handled itself.
Brian and Dan were great. I was stuck in a parking garage and they were the only business that would come out to assess the situation to see if they could get me out. They provided an upfront price, and Dan stayed patient and helpful despite me having issues with my towing destination. Greatly appreciate their service!
These guys were great! They were prompt, helped me out of a difficult situation, and patiently waited at the scrap yard for me to finish paperwork. The fee was very reasonable given the amount of time and hassle.
I had to call a towing service, because I parked too close to a concrete pillar in a parking garage and I’m trying to fix it, I made it a million times worse to the point of needing a tow truck to remove me from the pillar (seriously, who does this?!). Anyway, they were finishing a job when I called and gave me a time frame, and were there right after when they said they would be, and the driver was very nice. It made a situation that was very stressful to me a lot better. I would 100% recommend Leo’s towing, and I will call them again if I ever need another towing service (which I probably will, bc clearly I have poor driving skills).

I was on my way home from Tennessee this morning when I got a flat tire on the interstate. Called this company and they. were there in less than 15 minutes.took myself and my Equinox to the garage to get a tire and Dan made sure I was all set before he left. Brian and Dan were amazing . On a Friday night I called seven other companies and this was the first company that actually answered the phone. My car was disabled on a busy expressway in downtown Louisville and I was stranded. LEO'S had my car hooked up and out of there in ten minutes. The driver made sure I had a ride coming before he left me. Very professional. Highly recommend.
We set up an appointment to have our car towed several days in advance. When the agreed upon time came around they never showed up. After calling we learned that they had apparently lost all of our information. As we had an appointment set up for our car to get looked at, we asked if they had another time slot open soon when they could still tow us. They agreed, offering to take 25$ off of the original agreed upon price and said they could arrive around 30 minutes . An hour rolls around and they still haven’t shown up. We started calling again to see what had happened, but this time the phone just rang until the message system kicked in. But, the inbox is completely full so you are unable to leave a message. Long story short, unless you just want to waste your time, don't use this scam place.
I set up an appointment with Leo's two days ago for yesterday at 8:30am to get my car towed to a repair shop. Not only did they fail to show up on time, but when I called to ask where my tow was, they admitted to losing my information. I gave it to them again and they said it would be another 30 minutes before they could reach me, making me late to my auto repair appointment. After 45 minutes no one has come still and I call back, and no one answers their phone, with me trying every few minutes for another half an hour. I would have left a message, but their voicemail was completely full. No tow ever arrived. This cost me a whole day of critical car repair from the shop and I had to reschedule my appointment for several days later. Completely unprofessional, honestly I would give 0 stars if I could since they lied to my face and cost me a lot of time and effort for nothing. I would never recommend this towing service be used by anyone, ever.
Great experience with Leo’s towing. Best rate to move my 20’ 1976 RV by far. Both the owner and the driver were attentive, respectful, and appreciated my vintage truck/house. Will definitely hit them up next time and refer folks to em in the future.
UPDATE: 8/2023 I am a repeat customer of Leos Towing and they proved again why they are the best tow Company in Louisville. I was stranded on 64, Brian came to my vehicle early am and saved the day Again! Great Service, Great price, professional and timely. Because of the excellent service Leos Towing provided I was able enjoy my Labor day weekend without missing a beat!! Thank you
09/22 - I was in a pickle! (As most people are when they call a Tow Company lol) Leo's Towing made it quick and easy. I called answered a few questions, gave my vehicles location, confirmed where it was going, they provided me the price and once I confirmed within an hour I was getting a message that they had my vehicle and was headed to drop off location. I was even able to make my payment over the phone! Despite my flat tire my experience was made easier because I used Leo's Towing!! Great on Service, great on Price GREAT on time so all around I will stick with Leo's Towing & Recovery! Thank you again!
My sister’s car was stranded due to all the gas having run out onto the ground because of a hole in the gas tank. We were about 15 miles from home sitting in the hot sun. I called her car insurance for roadside assistance and the ETA was going to be in 3.5 hours. I googled “towing near me” and the company with the best reviews was Leo’s. I called them and the tow truck driver got to us within a half hour. He got the car home and backed it up into the driveway. Very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!
