I was having some pretty serious issues with my car not running right, or even at all. I took it to a local mechanic who works on foreign cars in my town and after finally getting it back 9 weeks later with a $2000+ bill, the problem was not solved, and actually worse. A week later I took my car to Stuttgart's and within no time, they had me up and running stronger than ever, and at a very satisfying cost. I highly recommend.
Everyone is great! We love Stuttgart motors. Pricing is fair, repairs are done in a timely manner, and they kept us updated along the way. You can’t go wrong with this company.
Shawn and his staff put a new front suspension on my DeLorean. They did a fantastic job and care about the cars that come into their shop. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Stuttgart Motors 1048 Eastland Dr is the most professional and outstanding automotive repair shop. Shawn and his team took excellent care with my Porsche. It's so nice to trust a shop here in Lexington instead of driving quite a ways to get it worked on. I will only trust Shawn to take care of all my vehicles and if you own a Porsche I would highly recommend them.

They went the extra mile, literally, and picked up a part I needed, drove to the location where I was and installed it while I waited. The young woman at the counter was exceptionally helpful. Very fair pricing too!

I have heard of their excellent reputation for many years, and I will never go anywhere else ever again, after my first experience that had a very lasting impression. I appreciated their swiftness, decisiveness, and sense of urgency while managing all of their customers (and fixing all of my needs that were long overdue,) and all while having a smile on their faces the entire time!
Man am i thankful to have found these guys. After countless shops told me my honda civic was just not fixable or to old or the best excuse I heard was it's not worth the money to fix. I found this shop, the customer service at the front desk was top notch friendly and super professional, they guys in the back met the same energy and went above and beyond. it’s hard to find a good, speedy import mechanic around lexington. But that’s not the case here, my audi was fixed in no time once started and couldn’t have had better interactions with the staff highly recommend!

These guys are absolutely awesome. Took my Maserati to several places to have my motor mounts done, and every one of them (except Stuttgart) told me it would be a massive job and couldn't guarantee they could lower the subframe for different reasons. Long story short, these guys had my motor mounts replaced in less that a couple hours, and the price was unbeatable. Great guys, competent techs, fast service and great prices. My new go to shop from now on. Thank you guys!
Took in my 2010 Land Rover. Was told everything was fixed after a new battery was installed. Drove it home and then the next morning it was completely dead.
After spending $800 on battery and diagnostics called to get a refund on the battery and they refused. Took to another mechanic who installed the correct more expensive battery and everything had worked fine for a week since. Stuttgart installed the cheaper battery that only worked for one day and I was not refunded anything. Do not recommend

I've had my car up there a twice. Both times for the same issue. Neither time, was the issue resolved. Which is especially appalling because the second time, I brought them all the parts necessary with specific instructions on what needed to be repaired.
On top of that, upon doing my own repairs to the vehicle, I find that there are a number of loose fasteners and bolts that led to oil leaks.
They are way too expensive for the quality of work performed. You could not pay me to return.
Excellent Workmanship
Lu & Crew did a most excellent job on my daughter’s Audi Q7. They were able to get me in quickly and chased down the issues of code faults, causing the car to go into limp/safe mode. Excellent communication provided and follow up! Do not hesitate to place your trust in Stuggart Motors.

Great mechanic! They inspected my newly purchased 2001 BMW for an oil leak. They figured out that it was the head cover gasket, showed me the leak, explained what they would do to fix it and gave me a quote all within minutes!
They had no idea that I used to be a mechanic myself and let me tell you... These folks are by the book! They didn't overcharge me and they didn't sell me on anything that didn't need to be done! I already scheduled to replace the head cover gasket with them and I will post another review when the work is done! Stay tuned!
Update: Went and got my cover gaskets and some of other needed work done! Shawn, Jeremiah, and Client are all great! My BMW currently runs better than when it first rolled out from the factory! Thank you all for your service! I am a customer for life!
I appreciate everyone's friendly attitude. I own a 2013 Mini Cooper S Convertible and I started having problems with burning oil and my rear drivers side window not wanting to roll up. They took the time to care for my car and made sure it was done the right way. I will be sure to return in the future for any other maintenance issues. Highly recommend.

I own a 1971 VW Super Beetle that was in need of front end work as at 50 mph, it shook more violent than a unbalanced washing machine. I called, or stopped by, many car repair facilities in the Lexington area and couldn't find one that would take a chance working on my car. Well, that is, until I happened across Stuttgart Motors. The staff here is extremely professional and polite and handled the repairs to my car in a very timely fashion. Highly recommend them if you need import car repair
I think for anyone it is comforting to know and trust the man or woman that is working on your car. Becoming friends with the Stuttgart Family has given me just that comfort. I have been treated fairly every time I have visited or spoken with the team. Shawn has a true passion for treating cars like they are his own. He takes a lot of pride in his work and its obvious. Not to mention going above and beyond and coming to rescue me in the middle of nowhere to get my car and me back home. I rest assured there is not another shop that would do this even if you paid them and Shawn charged me nothing but his commitment to figure out what went wrong the car. I can't say say he would do this for everyone but I think he would if he could. He has dedicated himself to making sure the engine he built leaves me with lasting memories.

Have taken my 2000 Jaguar XJR to them on 2 different occasions. The first time was for basic brakes and a new oil pan. Timely service and a very competitive price. Done right the first time and nice friendly service! The second time was for a blown head gasket on the motor. Their quote was spot on for the job not knowing what all was wrong, other than head gasket, just from my description of how the car was running. Once again timely service, job done right the first time and friendly service!! These guys are great! Would recommend them to anyone for mechanical work!
