Very professional and more importantly, knowledgeable on automotive care and repair. A busy mechanic is usually a very good mechanic and while the team here is very busy, they can and do try and squeeze you in. They did with my trusty old Lexus most recently and when it needed its timing belt replaced last January. I highly recommend Brian's Bluegrass Automotive.

Best Auto Repair in Lexington. Would highly recommend Brian's Bluegrass Automotive. Luckily, my Highlander died right in front of Brian's on Newtown. We thought it was the alternator but after they tested the car it was the battery. Whew! The monthly budget didn't get turned upside down. Michelle and Brian were fantastic and kept in touch while they had my car. After just 1 day, I have a fully functional car back. Chose Brian's based on a google search because of the great reviews. Couldn't be happier with the decision. Was told we needed a new part at another shop which was going to run around $3k. Brian fixed it for $118 after finding that it needed a fluid top off. We'll be using Brian's for auto maintenance going forward!

my poor jeep was on the verge of dying I was told many things were wrong with it and was terrified to drive it so I took it to Brian he did such a great job looking and diagnosing all the things for my jeep keeping great communication and showing pictures
of the parts and making me a priority to fix my jeep he found the parts and tada my jeep is alive a week later I will be back with further maintenance

I mistook a pile of ice for a pile of snow, so tried to drive through it ... ended up ripping off the front bumper of my Jeep. Took it to Brian's since he helped me with a gas tank cover in the past. Body work isn't really his 'thing' but he ordered the part and fixed it up within 2 days for me. While there he also gave me a tune up. Very reasonably priced. Great service. Happy customer. Brian, Michelle, and their team helped me out in a pinch when the dash lights turned on out of the blue on my Prius. They were able to diagnose the problem right away and got it fixed (along with an oil change and some scheduled maintenance) soon after. Super kind, helpful, and honest service all the way through. Highly recommend!!

A couple of years ago he fixed the Turbocharger in my Buick Encore (another place in Abingdon , VA thought it was something else and cost me a few hundred dollars, and check engine light came on again within a week), and 6 months later it went out again and repaired it free of charge because the part was still under warranty. And it was not his fault because this year I found our Buick recalled the Turbochargers for my Encore and others. Brian still had my paperwork, I received a copy and was reimbursed by Buick for what I paid to get it fixed 2 years ago.
And he did a great job fixing my air conditioning a couple of weeks ago. And it went out while I was in Virginia, but I waited until I got back home because I knew Brian would fix it right.
I may have to stop going to Virginia!
We were traveling through KY on our way to the Ark Encounter when my husband realized our brakes were having an issue. He called up to see if we could stop and have them looked at. Michelle answered the phone and was so kind and said yes absolutely, come in and we will take a look and Brian will get it taken care of. We got there about 30 minutes later and Brian took it in, looked it over and told my husband the exact issue, got the parts needed(caliber, brake pad, etc). Michelle was so kind while we waited. She offered to order our family pizza, told us about a gelato/ice cream place within close walking distance and kept us happy and comfortable. So sweet! When Brian and his other mechanic(who was also kind and hard working) were done…Brian had him take it for a test drive to make sure everything was working well. When he came back he noticed our rear brake light was out and replaced it too. Brian never tried to sell us on anything extra, didn’t overcharge us, nothing. We are SO appreciative and thankful for him, Michelle and the other mechanic there. You all are a blessing!
Stopped in to see if they could get me a new fuel door for my Jeep. They were very helpful and ordered the door, got it in 2 days and they gave me recommendations on where to get it painted for a reasonable price. Brian was very helpful and so was Michelle. They helped me through the process, rather than just ordering me a part and selling it to me. I'd recommend them for any of the services they provide.
Brian and Michelle have been amazing!! They give great advice and don’t try to over sell you. You find out what you need to know without ever getting ripped off. I had a warranty replacement not only was it taken care of quickly they didn’t put me off for paying customers or bigger issues! It’s so nice to have an honest businessman and great mechanic!
I was passing through Lexington and my vehicle's transmission slipped and tripped the check engine light. I was close to Brian's Bluegrass and saw their stellar reviews. I was able to get my car to them to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong. The office staff was very kind, polite and accommodating, as was the mechanic who helped me out. The mechanic came out immediately and ran a deep scan of my car's computer and verified it was a module glitch and I was able to get home safely since I live in a nearby town. I was an automotive and diesel mechanic for many years and I would highly recommend this shop. The mechanic was knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. The shop is clean and well organized, and their equipment is modern and appeared well maintained. Visiting their shop was a great experience.

They continually provide the highest level of customer service routinely going above and beyond. Our most recent experience was the most notable. Had a repair needed and Michelle accommodated our schedule while going out of her way to make it affordable. It's rare to find this kind of customer care in a service industry but it is a common occurrence at Brian's Bluegrass Automotive.
I was a little hesitant when choosing a new mechanic, but I followed my instinct and this place was a great experience! As a college student car troubles are always stressful and I really appreciated the open honesty and transparency of the issues with the car. Not to mention, fair pricing! The car was also finished in a timely manner and it was in an out within 6 hours and the car runs smoothly. Very pleased with the work he did and I will be back for more services if needed

Brian is a wonderful mechanic who is very friendly and knowledgeable! Turn around time is always very fast and with clear expectations for scope of work. Prices are reasonable and to industry standard with above and beyond quality. It is really great to not feel out of place, talked down, or swindled in a mechanic shop as a woman. I may have once or twice come in with a panic request and was seen immediately and without any kind of shaming. Front desk staff is also so friendly. Myself and my car feel very well taken care of at Brian's and 100000% recommend!
My car started vibrating as I was driving yesterday afternoon - not a pleasant experience! Brian was willing to work it in today, and got it completely fixed ... all in less than 24 hours. Brian is one of the best mechanics I've ever used. I strongly recommend him!
