William - wearing an O'Reilly Uniform and nametag - stopped to help a colleague and I stuck in Lexington yesterday. It was EXTREMELY hot outside and everyone else just drove past us and our broken down rental car. William did all he could to research the issue and was such a help.
Some idiot gave us the wrong part, despite me saying very specifically (part number included) what I needed. He goes to the back and says "well, someone must have moved it - here, take these instead". The vehicle that was being worked on would no longer run for a week until I got the right parts FROM THE SAME STORE (but a different person). Double check everything at this location - absolutely ridiculous.
NOTE: Just in case this doesn't show up properly, we're talking about the O'Reilly's on Versailles rd in Lexington, KY! Absolutely DISAPPOINTING.
The store Manager William at store 1123 is the greatest he didn't stop until he found the part that we needed him and Sam are the best yall need more people like them they go over and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied and well looking care of
I had an excellent experience with Caleb and John! They were tremendously helpful in diagnosing the issue with my headlights, patiently walking me through potential problems, and even assisting me in selecting the right tool to fix it. Both were incredibly kind, taking time out of their busy schedules to make sure I had all the information I needed. This store is known for its phenomenal staff, and Caleb and John truly live up to that reputation. Highly recommend!
Service was good the last time I was in there. It's hit or miss if they have one off parts when needed locally. If you can wait for parts then source them from online.
I was looking for a specific, uncommon spark plug and this was the only store in Lexington that had it. The staff member who helped me was extremely nice as well.
Once a month I stop by to have my oil, coolant and power steering fluids checked. If my check engine light ever goes on they
check and give me a print out of problem. Dealerships charge
for this service and it is FREE at O"reilly. I have a 2008
Audi and they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about
foreign cars, too.
Great experience at O'Reilly's Versailles Rd. tonight! I needed new headlights for my car and the staff were fantastic. Both young men were incredibly helpful. J.D. wasn't just knowledgeable about the parts and explained everything clearly, but he also offered to install them for me!
His friendly and professional demeanor made the whole experience a breeze. I was particularly impressed by his willingness to go the extra mile and install the headlights himself. Especially since Advanced Auto wouldn't install one for me a few months ago when I needed one. Additionally , they specifically told me that O'Reillys wouldn't install one either. That lie caused me to drive w one light for a long time.
J.D saved me a lot of time and hassle. He performed most of the installation but Noah assisted at one point. Both young men were very helpful , friendly, and knowledgeable they know how to use teamwork

Went to get a new car battery and the staff was super helpful when it came to finding the exact tools I needed. I even bought the wrong screwdriver and when I came back to get the right one they let me switch them out for free! They really wanted what was best for me and I can't thank them enough.
Although they've sold me the wrong part and I should give 2 stars I'm a reasonable person. I've been a customer for a long time. So much so I've gotten more correct parts than the wrong parts. As for the employees, they're a nice bunch.
I was impressed just watching the store manager very politely & patiently instruct a new employee in some customer relations tactics and cash register functions. He very empatheticly asked how much of a hurry I was in First, that my transaction was a good opportunity to show the new guy a few things. I was happy to accommodate, it was an excellent reminder to Me of how important management is to Everything. Kudos.
On Nov. 21, I had a flat tire; the roadside assistance sent by my insurance company failed miserably to change my tire and basically left me stranded. We ended up at this location and, when it became apparent that we would not be able to fix the problem on our own, your employee, William, not only got us set up with a business that was able to change my tire, but he came to where my car was located after he got off from work to make sure I was taken care of and that I was ok. All on his own time. He even refused when I offered to compensate him for his time. He is proof that there are still good people in the world.
Extremely knowledgeable staff. Even though they were slammed.They helped me find that hard to find part for my truck little did I know it was the manager, really says alot about the team work at that location, and always have that low price guarantee. Will definitely make this my new parts store.
Last night Tyler and another young guy closed 20 minutes early and laughed when we asked them about it today. today they won't answer the phone with 2 people working and 1 person at the counter, when we get there TYLER acted like it was a hassle to help us, when we finally got the parts he did not bother to put the phone number in for the warranty info nor did he bother to tell me what the warranty was, when I asked him to put the phone number in to save my warranty in the system he acted like it pained him to do it and informed me that if I kept my receipt I would still get the warranty. Keeping track of a receipt for years until a lifetime Warranty part fails doesn't really make sense to me if the info is saved in the system. If you hate your job that much and don't like dealing with people then working a parts counter probably isn't the right job for you
William was great. As much of a pain I'm sure turning roaders is he did it after 2 other locations claim they didn't have any one in the store that could do it.. So thanks a million for helping us out.
I was upset yesterday when a guy on the phone said they price match starter, I told him it was for reconditioned starter with one year warranty but when I went up there they wanted 150 bc one they had was lifetime warranty, I explained only reason I came up there was guy told me 105,well after raising hell for moment a manager named Cameron did me right and gave it to me for original agreement. So all together he did right thing and I'll go back!
Went to 3 different auto part stores today to find a windshield wiper arm. None of the stores had them except for O'Reilly's. They got me the part quickly. After I had trouble re-installing the arm because I didn't have a wrench, one of the mechanics, Ryan, came out with a wrench and tightened it down for me. Very courteous and very professional staff.
Very very helpful, had the parts I needed, and then some. Told them what I was doing, and they gave great advice and told me what not to buy, and how to do it. Saved me alot of money and stress. Kevin was the associate who helped me. He was awesome, thanks again.
I went into the store with an electrical problem. David at the counter quickly ran a test and offered excellent help and service. He should be commended for his customer service skills.
I would not recommend this place. My daughter's car had trouble starting and kept dying. I took it to this location to test Battery and Alternator. They tested battery in parking lot and initially said it was Ok. I moved car closer to the store and car died again. Tested Battery again and said it was weak so I purchased a battery from them. I also had them test Alternator and they told me it was fine. Three days later my daughter's car died again. Took it Sturgill Car Care Center and they told me bad Alternator. They replaced alternator and everything has been fine since. This O'reilly's completely mis-diagnosed the issue and took me for a battery. I called the store in hopes to get old battery back or some sort of reimbursement and Mgr on duty told me there was nothing they could do. I would think twice before going to this store for Auto repair help.
I use this orielly’s a lot and have never had a problem. But I called tonight and didn’t realize they were closed, but instead of simply not answering the phone, or picking up and informing me that it’s past their hours of operation, someone picked up the call phone and said “closed” in an aggravated voice. This was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would rather him not pick up at all.
