Overpriced to pay for their new building and stopped caring about the treatment of animals… You all would rather have my poor dog suffer from an ear infection, then treat it, just to get money. It took three visits for you guys to finally do a collagen for testing to find out what type of infection he had and order the medicine then just to play games on the last visit. You never took the dog out of the room before unless you knock him out. Will never go there again…

We have taken our family pets to Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital for years. Unfortunately we had to take our 18yr old cat last week to be euthanized due to declining health. The staff was extremely compassionate and did everything possible to guide us thru the difficult decision. They explained the entire process and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. We highly recommend GLVH!

Dr. Rachel Miller was outstanding to say the least. I brought my puppy in after multiple poor experiences with another vet when she was sick. Dr. Miller and Carly took excellent care of my girl. She is so thorough and knowledgeable and had lots of great advice. The team helped me to feel comfortable and confident in their care… and most importantly, my pup is already starting to improve. I will definitely be returning!! Thank you guys!

We love bringing our dogs here. Rarely ever have to wait, affordable and they take their time with us. We've never felt pressured into expensive or unnecessary treatments.

Never bring your pets here unless you want terrible advice, being charged for things that are unnecessary or your pet dying because thats what they do! So many people have brought their pets here and they died! The vets they have are terrible but the owners are worse. They cant take accountability for their actions and over all are just terrible.

Very very pricey even at today's market. I was, referring to cost of my dogs medicine. I hsve no problem with what the vet charges up to this point. But medicine is getting out if reach in cost 10 pills for 30 dollars.

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. I could never speak highly enough about the care my pets have received. And they don't order unnecessary test that cost a fortune

Really terrific veterinary staff who all care about every pet they see. I have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd and I’ve been taking him here (on several recommendations) since I got him when he was 7 weeks old. They really help anxious pets feel at ease, too. And I love that they take their time examining the animals and don’t rush - they give good explanations and allow owners to ask all the questions they have. As long as I have pets I’ll come here for their care!

We recently moved to the Grants Lick area and visited this vet to establish care for our two dogs. The techs and front office staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the treatment from the vet left much to be desired. I took my Goldendoodle and Labrador for basic vaccinations and to address ear and eye issues. As an experienced pet owner, I suspected ear infections, but the vet dismissed this, suggesting I just clean their ears more—something we already do. For my Labrador's eye issue, the vet speculated it could be Enophthalmos due to Horner’s syndrome, prescribing a steroid cream with little explanation on how it might help. While he was nice, it felt like everything was being explained to me like I was an 5-year old. All of this was accompanied by lengthy explanations of breeding science about doodles and labs from the vet. After using the cream and regular ear cleaning, the issues persisted, so I sought a second opinion. The new vet quickly diagnosed an ear infection and an eye ulcer in my lab, which was worsened by the steroid cream use. After spending almost $700 at this clinic, my pets were misdiagnosed, and I had to pay for another consultation to get the proper treatment.

Our dog loved this place and really clicked with the staff, she had Dr. Mel and was eating from the palm of his hand by the end of the visit. Any other place she has to wear a muzzle around new people. We will definitely be back.

I am so appreciative of all the workers here. My cat was newly diagnosed with kidney disease and stayed at Grants Lick for a few days getting treatment. Everyone was so kind and took the best care of him. I was able to visit him multiple times while he was there and they were great about answering any questions I had. I highly recommend this place!

We have been taking our dogs to Grants Lick Veterinary for years. Always have a good experience. When we had to put down our beloved Boxer, the Grants Lick team was so kind and patient with us. As hard as it was it would have been harder without the kind staff and Vet. We were and still are grateful. We recently got 2 new puppies. Dr. Leap spent a lot of time with me and my daughter giving us helpful tips and advice. I will always be thankful for that advice!! Lastly, I have to recognize the staff from the front desk to the Techs. Always kind and friendly!

This is not easy but I really feel like I have been let down so badly by this vet. I took my kitten here yesterday as an emergency as he wasn't breathing well and looked weak. Once there he was taken to the back and given oxygen. I was told his breathing is labored when the air was taken away so they will keep it on him. We were then given an estimate of cost and told this is what we recommend but it's your call. My daughter who was with me worked as a vet assistant and said there's no need for a leukemia test but we were then told it's already been done!!!! She also said no to the xray and again it was done so im not sure if they think if you take your cat to a vet you have a vast amount of extra cash!!!! I was then told he was to spend the night there and see how he is in the morning. He was sitting up and looked better than when he came in but not well enough to leave. I got a call this.morning by a happy sounding lady who left a message telling to call only to be told my kitten had dies during the night. Apparently they don't leave the oxygen running at night so turned it OFF!!!!! after being told he needed it and then turn it off at night!!!!!!!! No wonder the poor little guy died!!!! No one is here at night they said. With the money I was charged nearly $600 why wasn't someone there to look over him. I paid enough ! So my fur baby died alone in a place he didn't know.... I'm sooooo disappointed and saddened by the way my Lil guy was cared for. I paid a large amount for what? For him to be allowed to breathe on his own know that was a big reason for him being there!!!! Safe to say I won't trust my other pets with this business. I'm one that found out the hard way......

I just went for a 9am appointment for my 3 year old Aussie. They prescribed him some anxiety medication prior to the appointment but my baby boy was still on edge like some dogs are. These extremely kind people took him back and got his double ear infection addressed in 5 minutes. When the kind woman (didn’t catch her name) brought him back out, she was out of breath and almost breaking a sweat. That’s when I knew my dog was ceaselessly trying to wiggle his way out. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your accommodation and care. I know she had a whole workout trying to wrestle with 73lbs of separation anxiety but she did it and came out with a smile. She came out and acted like it was easy peasy even though I know he was probably giving her a heck of a time. While he was getting care in the back, the ladies at the front desk made me feel a whole lot better about me muzzling him during care. I felt embarrassed to have asked for a muzzle. They explained to me that 50% of the dogs that come in also tend to be muzzled just for precaution and it eased my OWN anxiety. When we left, my dog wasn’t too happy with me but I felt a whole lot better about myself nonetheless. Thank you so much for making my dog and I feel at ease and also thank you for staying in shape.

We started seeing Dr. Leap with our new puppy last year and he- along with all of the staff and techs- are great. We appreciate their time with us and they are always friendly, patient and truly want to help with whatever they can. We originally chose them just out of convenience and the proximity to where we live but we’d gladly choose them over and over based on the experiences we’ve had!

Went in for a same day sick visit with my 13.5 year old pug. This was our first time here with him at the new location. Staff was incredible! They treated Mr Smokey like he was their own pet. I will forever take my fur babies here for care! Thank you all for being amazing! Here he is peeking for at me for a snack after a nice long nap.

Since my horrible experience at a prior vet I was very anxious about taking any of my animals anywhere. They set my mind at ease and took great care of my fur baby!
