Quoted 2900 including storage fees, somehow that ended up 3500. Arrived to pickup my vehicle and was told they’re closed from noon to 1:00 for lunch. It’s now 1:30 and I’m still not allowed inside until “the receptionist returns”, I’d suggest choosing a company with more reasonable business practices.
Kidd's has been my knight in shining armor several times now! They always under promise and over deliver! Friendly, sympathetic, and professional employees! From the dispatch calling to ensure your safety and location to the person on the truck loading your vehicle. I was overjoyed to see Kidd's pop up on my roadside assistance. I will continue to use them for any of my needs. Highly recommend them!
Just had my 1st tow ever by Jay. He made it easy and made it a positive experience. Nice guy and helpful all the way. If ever need a tow again def going with Jay at Kidds towing.
Had a great experience, especially given the circumstances. Austin D. was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my car got where it needed to go. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and kept it honest and straightforward throughout the whole process. I’d definitely recommend them if you ever need a tow.
I was so impressed with the job Austin G. did in loading up my car onto the tow truck. He took great care with my car. He also explained thoroughly how everything would proceed. He was quite trustworthy, and delivered my car and car fob to the dealership. He even called me to confirm he had delivered it before the dealership called me to tell me they had received it! My car insurance agent had recommended Diggs, and I strongly recommend them, as well!
Best towing experience ever. Jason is an absolute pro. He picked up me, my car, and my dog and delivered a safely to her home. Be back with the car not my driveway and into my garage like a master. If you send me a couple of business cards that I could carry with me, I'll pass them out. I rate you five stars and 100%.
Me and my family went to go get dinner at “El Gallo Food Truck “ and on our way to drive back home our vehicle, didn’t turn on at all due to some mechanical problems! My insurance contacted us with kidd’s towing. Cody did a really god job on getting there before the time frame we was told he’ll be there, very professional, and very polite! I experienced a mechanical breakdown in my 69 Chevy Nova headed back from a car show. I naturally had concerns and requests about how the car was winched and strapped down. Todd had the equipment to do it right and I was pleased with the care and consideration given.
The angry woman that works at 4839 location who treated me as if my car was repoed after a bad accident needs fired. We went to retrieve our things two days after she screamed at me over the phone, and I witnessed her screaming at the employees as well as me again. Disgusting. When someone just lost everything in a wreck and you’re trying to hold their items and scam them… I had to call the police to get them to let us into our vehicle. Said we needed to have the original title… a car in Kansas when financed has an electronic title. That’s not possible. She would not take bill of sale… nothing with our info on it. This place needs investigated to the max and so does she.
I’m going to edit my review, and change it to a three. Jim, the manager of the locations reached out to me, and was very concerned with my service there. He’s been amazing, and very understanding in this hard time for me and my husband. I do appreciate all of the customer service I have received since being in contact with him.
This company is supposed to tow vehicles illegally parked in our neighborhood. Says this on many signs. Called because this truck had been blocking the road and our driveway for hours and was told the management would have to call them. Worthless.
Office workers were nice but business practices are sketchy at best. Company lists on Google they are open 24hrs. They are not. They tow 24hrs, but the office is only open M-F 8a-5pm with different hours on Saturday and closed Sunday. They only accept cash and exact change at that. Most people don't carry hundreds of dollars on them at a time. This seems predatory. No cash or exact change? Come back tomorrow and pick up your property for an additional $30, their daily storage fee. Make sure to call ahead to get a the cost of retrieving your property so you can get the necessary cash. They will not inform you that they accept cash only and exact change over the phone when asking for the total fee, even though such a requirement is abnormal relative to any other professional business.
Per Kansas state law, you need proof of insurance, proof of registration, and a valid drivers license for them to release your vehicle. This aspect does not effect the rating given. They cannot control this.
Kidd’s driver called and arrived within 15 minutes of my call. He was knowledgeable about my car and helped me get it running smoothly. I appreciate him going above and beyond. I’ve only had this car for a short time, and he calmed me down during a stressful time by being professional and calm. I will only use Kidd’s.
My car was involved in an accident a couple weeks ago and my car was towed to the Olathe location. I went in a few days later to clear out my car, and I was told to present my car registration or title. I told them my registration is in my glove box (you know, where normal people keep it) and they sent an attendant out to get it. He brought in a big sheaf of papers from my glove box, but my current registration was not there. I went back home and looked all over for it... fast forward 5 days. Facing the prospect of requesting a new registration via mail from Miami County, I went back to the tow place and asked if I could look for my registration myself. An attendant walked back with me and watched me open the glove box, where the ONLY PAPER LEFT was my current registration. I cried out of frustration and just cleared out my car and left.
Besides for being a huge inconvenience, they got to charge more days' worth of storage fees. I'm not liable for the wreck, so I won't be paying, but it's the principle of the matter. I don't think this was an accident.
To boot, my $15 of emergency road money was missing from my center console.
I can't believe this is the tow yard the Olathe police use. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I have to say, they have integrity at the Olathe lot. I lost my chopper during a minor arrest. It is a custom vehicle so the process to p/u was non standard. If they were a shady tow service like so many, They could have found a reason to keep it. Shanise at the Olathe lot was a very good natured person If your car is stuck in the lot, or some minor beauracracy is holding up the process, they will work with you. Thankyou to Kidds Towing.
The driver was very friendly. Just the smiling face I needed with the horrible day I was having. He arrived earlier than expected and got right to work. Had my car ready to go in no time. He is a very pleasant young man!

On Saturday I went out to find my tire flat. I called my insurance company for roadside assistance, and they sent Kidds Towing.
When Kidds Towing pulled up, the driver was clearly on drugs. He hopped out of the car, did a few spins (literally standing there bug-eyed and spinning in a circle 3–4 times). This worried me, but I figured I could trust a company my insurance sent out. WRONG.
He started taking the lug nuts off. About 25 minutes later, when he was taking off the last nut, it started smoking—about to catch fire. The lug nuts were in perfect condition before this. He was extremely rough. After getting the tire off, he grabbed my new tire and used my old tire to hit and beat it in, damaging the rim. When his drill got stuck, he hit it against my new rim as well. You can clearly see the damage.
When he finished, he said he couldn’t get the last lug nut in because it was damaged and I would have to buy another one. I bought a new one, tried to put it in, and it didn’t catch. I then went to a tire shop, and they told me the threading was damaged from whoever took the lug nuts out last. This was NOT an issue before Kidds Towing touched my car. Now I will have to get my tire re-threaded.
I called my insurance to report what happened. Kidds Towing sent them a photo of the completed work and claimed the damage was already there. But their own photo shows only 4 lug nuts installed when my tire originally had all 5. How is that not their fault?
When I called Kidds Towing directly, they laughed at me, said “case closed, we didn’t do it,” refused to provide a manager’s name or number, then hung up on me. When I called back, they told me, “Come up here face to face if you want this worked out.”
This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. If you hire people on drugs to work on cars, you are responsible for the risks that brings. You cannot damage someone’s car, deny responsibility, and move on. I just want all five lug nuts in my tire like it was before your guy showed up.
I will continue making google reviews, complaints to the BBB, and Kansas consumer protection office. Until I have 5 lug nuts in my tire!! :)
Jeremy was amazing very kind, personable, and friendly, he even gave us a great pen. Just the nicest tow guy ever excellent customer service 5 stars isn't enough.
8am Saturday one of our company vehicles broke down. In about 1 hour the tow truck was there bringing our vehicle to our mechanic. Now that is great customer service. Locally and family owned. Will be our go to company from now on. Also had great pricing!!!
I honestly want to leave negative stars, they make picking up a vehicle difficult for no reason, did not feel my vehicle was safe with them being left on their lot. The worker brought 5 sets of keys and told me the brakes on mine don’t work when they worked perfectly fine when It was towed. The front desk lady couldn’t be bothered to get out of her seat to help at all she would tell her workers to grab papers off the desk and bring it to the customer. It was clear she couldn’t be bothered to get up and help. Said I could only pay in cash and I asked where the nearest atm was and she sent me all the way down the street I made it clear I would be right back. Got the cash and got back a couple minutes before close and they were all had already left and closed down. I’m assuming just in an attempt to get an extra day of storage to charge me. She knew I was grabbing the cash and coming right back and tried to make my experience here very difficult. Just overall a very unpleasant experience felt like the workers were eyeing my vehicle and kept talking about it which made me nervous they were going to try and take stuff from it which is why I was trying so hard to get it that night. Worst towing experience I’ve had.
Exceptional and professional service. Driver, Chris, is a great person…polite, prompt and drove an hour to tow my vehicle. Also he was very careful loading and unloading the car. Thank you, sir!

Hailey and Logan saved me on Sunday! My vehicle became disabled 40 miles outside Olathe.
My insurance connected me with Kidd's Towing, Hailey initially gave me a call, was very kind and courteous, inquired to my safety, requested information on my vehicle, informed me of the additional cost per mile as it was 40 miles away. I happily paid. She said it would be about 40 minutes. A few minutes later, Logan gave me a call and informed me he was on his way and was about 35 minutes away. He arrived in 30 minutes ahead of schedule!

He had my vehicle loaded onto the bed in no time, ensuring my safety and my vehicle's safety were a priority. He knew the attachment points for my vehicle and I didn't even know where they were located.
Though Hailey and Logan were just doing their jobs, I wanted to express my appreciation for their prompt and courteous help and for being my heros. Instead of being stranded with a disabled vehicle for more than 5 hours (what I expected) I was only out on the side of the road for less than 1.5 hours and right before the sun went down. Thank you for being awesome people!
The service was excellent! We have used Kidds Towing before and did not hesitate at all to call when we had two flat tires on the interstate due to debris in the road. Corey was very careful with our wrapped car and delivered it to the tire store promptly and courteously. This is the towing company to call - reasonable rate and timely service!
