The entire wheel—bearings and all—flew off my ski boat trailer on a cross country trip. They arrived within 30 minutes at 12:30 in the morning—found a place that could take my boat in the middle of the night, loaded the boat on a flatbed, which was very difficult, and reassured me when i was justifiably shaken. I really wish I had remembered to get my driver's name. He was very good and professional. He deserves some recognition! This was a Nissan Altima pick up off I35 between Wellsville and Ottawa on the evening of 8/21/25. We were originally given a 1-1.5 hrs arrival time by dispatch. They told us we didn't have to wait with the car so we went home about 10 miles away. Before we even got home, our driver called and said he'd arrive in 20-30 minutes. I was super grateful he could get there so quick because we had already waited 45 minutes for State Farm Roadside service to find us a tow, which isn't J&K's fault. Today marks the two year anniversary of my mother's passing so it's been a rough and emotional day. Our driver didn't know that but his professional demeanor ensured that I didn't have any added stress to an already stressful day, and for that I am thankful!
My truck was impounded and towed by this 1st. Off the driver was very rude and hateful then they over charged for everything then they used the roller which I'm very sure they did not put my truck in neutral when pulling up on the flat bed because now I have shifting problems not only to say that they claim the state requires cash only which is a lie. My truck was seen on highway 10 being driven around while it should be impounded. Now I'm out of s vehicle cause they messed up my transmission I'm seeking legal advice to take against this company due to their negligence and I looked and did not see any CDL qualifications to operate a tow truck.
Requested service through their website (correct website later verified by J&K), after not hearing from them for a few hours called to check on the service and got a reply of, "my manager will have to look for that request". I called the following day and said I wanted to check on the status of my tow request only to have the person claim I had not reached out to them. I explained that I literally still had the screen up and call log. Making a mistake is normal and perfectly acceptable, challenging the integrity of the person that requested service is not acceptable.
Had a flat (shredded) tire on K10. They were able to come out quickly and professionally. Very helpful and was able to put the car exactly where I needed it.
Fantastic service! We had a flat tire but were unable to access the spare so called J&K Towing. A man named Cesar from J&K came out and used his air compressor to fill the tire enough so we would be able to make it home, then refused to charge us! Thank you, thank you!

im located in Leavenworth, they came all the way to my home & towed my vehicle exactly where I had asked them to, gave special instructions about leaving the keys with the tire service of my choice & they did just that, we had the pleasure of having Shawn pick up our vehicle & take care of our towing. very professional & easy to work with. I'd highly recommend them for anyone in or nearby their local areas, I will likely use them again if I need to! highly satisfied & they were nice enough to send us an arrival time & met that time frame, great work, great communication skills, & all around great services! thank you J & K for your service!
Had J and K dispatched by my insurance company. They were incredibly fast and were easy to work with. Cody was great natured and enjoys his job. I would be happy to use them again if needed.
I have AAA and was broke down on 435, lost all power so I had no lights. J&K towing promptly moved things around to ensure I could get assistance faster. The man who helped me was so attentive, kind and also followed me to the gas station and waited until I left to ensure I was safe. I genuinely appreciate the kindness and how truly great they are. 10/10 recommend.

But the driver, Shawn, texted me with an ETA, connected with my contacts at both the pickup and drop off locations and delivered my vehicle without an issue. Also, having the mobile interface that allowed me to ‘watch’ at my vehicle was in transport was amazing! Thank you so much!

Our truck broke down on a Saturday evening in Olathe. We were 2 1/2 hours away from home. We called J&K based on the their online reviews. They did not disappoint. Our call was answered promptly and politely. We ask if they could accommodate a ride for my husband and I with the truck back home, which they did. She said they would have a driver to us in an hour and they did. Our driver text us when he was 15 minutes away and was very professional when he arrived, as well as our ride home. We highly recommend J&K!!
My boyfriend and I were traveling back home from Texas to Illinois. We were on the highway, and my car started stalling and losing acceleration and we had to pull over. We had no idea where we were or who to call. We ended up calling J & K, and the tow driver, Jesse, was extremely helpful and was even going out of his way to try and find us hotels in case my car was worse case scenario. Sam was the girl I spoke to on the phone for the company, and when she found out my insurance was trying to overcharge me she made it cheaper and easier for me. She was extremely helpful, and caring for our situation. Ricky aka Ricky Bobby ;) also is the one who found the issue and fixed it quickly and efficiently so we could get back on the road. If I’m ever in Kansas again and have car issues I will 100% be calling J & K and using their tow truck services and repair shop!
I thought I needed a tow after a protective piece under my car came loose driving down 435. I was able to get off the highway but was in a weird spot off the ramp. Dispatcher Sam, worked with me to figure out where I was and send drivers Cody & Sebastian to come help. They were able to figure out what came loose and worked out a temporary repair on the spot so I could get to the mechanic safely, saving me a tow fee.

Waited 4 hours from the time we scheduled our first tow through AAA. After being told the first company dropped our tow for being “too far out”. (Independence Specialty Tow refused to tow our truck FROM Independence.)
Within an hour of getting a new company- we had him show up and immediately get to work. I appreciate J & K Towing and will be sure to keep them in mind for future use!!
