I recently took my truck in to get a misfire fixed. I had a 2000 7.3 powerstroke. I had a cylinder 1 misfire. I already replaced the injector, the idm, and the wiring harness under the valve cover. I called them to let them know I was lost on fixing it and I was dropping it off. They ended up telling me that I had a leaking brake line, which I didn't, and the exaughst back pressure sensor needed to be hooked back up, which it shouldn't matter because alot of the stuff has been deleted. With just those 2 things they charged me 1100 bucks. When I talked to them on the phone it's like they didn't care what I had to say. They told me I needed a new injector and I told them the one I put in was new so take it out and it's under warranty. So I did and brought a new one. They installed it but I'm still not happy about how they went about it. 1500 dollars later and all it needed was a simple injector install. This is why I do not trust any mechanic shop. They are simply out to get paid and do not care about the person. Will not take anything else there. Very unsatisfied.
We’re currently stuck on the side of the road. Chance stopped and spent about a half hour after his shift trying to help us. We’re still in the ditch but it was sweet of him to try to help us out.
Was returning to Kansas from visiting my good friends in Wellman after a big snowstorm and upon beginning my drive home my truck began to overheat. I googled an Auto Repair garage from the side of F67 and called H&M Auto. They told me to bring it in…they knew I was in a bind and kindly just took it and fixed me up after taking a code reader, vacuum hose to my stuck thermostat and after a test ride was back to a fully operational truck. They refused any form of payment and the owner just said “Merry Christmas!” Very kind great auto repair shop! I’ve told all my SE IA buds this story along w my recommendation!

I highly recommend this body shop! All the other places were giving 3-4 month lead times. HM got me in within a couple of weeks. The repairs look great and everyone was friendly and easy to deal with.

These guys are awesome. They fixed my diesel truck in less than a week. For less than 1k. My truck was at a Ford dealership for almost a month and the dealership tried to say to find out what it could be could cost upwards of 8k. Called these guys up. Explained a little of what was going on. And they told me they already had a good idea as to what it was. Though they couldn't be sure unless they had the truck. Finally got my truck to them in less than 30 hours they had called me back. Told me they hadn't gotten the truck in yet due to another project not quite finished but had already gone out and figured out the problem. Turned out to be a small valve for my oil system. In two ish days I got a call. I was worried that it was bad news. The mechanic just said. It's good news. Your truck is fixed. Then I asked him yeah but what's the damage. He says less than 800.
Long story short. With trucks as expensive as they are they understand that fixing your vehicle is a drop in the bucket compared to a new truck payment. They also under that that while the vehicle has a monetary value. It also has a personal value. I've only been in the area for 2 years but can already say with certainty that these guys are my mechanics.
Do yourself a favor and save your self money and stress. Take it to the best.
Like men, not all businesses are created equal. You will find that the staff at HM Auto are immortals among men, and magicians of their craft. They have the skill level of an artisan who spent the first 50 years of life learning their craft, and the remainder mastering it. What you dream, they will perfect. What you hold dear could not be placed in safer hands. I wanted to have my late father’s 2005 F250 restored and a friend suggested I contact HM Auto to complete the restoration.
