It's my one stop shop for oil changes and repairs. They do great work at a reasonable price. They're always very patient in explaining to me what's going on with my vehicle and it gets done right. I highly recommend.

**Attention Parents** If you have a child attending college in Waverly, IA - DO NOT have them take their vehicle to Dale's Service for anything. Our son brought in our vehicle for a QUOTE to replace the front brakes. We had already received a quote at a competitive business and decided to give Dale's (owner Troy) Service an opportunity to earn our business because it would be more convenient for our son rather than traveling to Waterloo. Troy provided a quote that was over $300 more expensive than his competitors but that isn't the problem. When my son received the quote Troy charged him $79.82 to receive the quote, nothing replaced or repaired. There was no discussion prior to Troy providing the quote of an "inspection fee". I called to dispute the charge and he said he would refund the fee only if we agreed to have our vehicle repaired at his business. Based on our experience, Troy the owner of Dale's Service is unethical and lacks integrity.

I’m always happy with my service. Troy does a great job at keeping me updated on what is needed on my vehicle. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. It’s nice to have the peace of mind, knowing everything is done correctly.

I don't even want to give these guys one star. They put a bad starter in my car and then proceeded to tell me it was something else and charge me another $223 after charging me $600 to replace the starter that I had to replace. Myself, where's another starter? And my car runs perfect, but they still say something else is wrong with it. But if that's the case, how come my car's running perfect they can't even diagnose something as simple as a starter solenoid. Stay away. You will get ripped off

Charged me over $800 for my car and didn’t even fix my car. Went to a different place and they fixed it in 20 mins and not nearly expensive. Do not go here!!!

I had a very terrible experience with dales, my car broke down and I told them to check over everything. Which they ended up knowing my water pump was going out and they just threw parts into it to “fix it” it broke down 4 days later the owner wanted me to drive it into the shop when I had told him there was no power at all so I had it towed there. And now he is charging me a huge service fee for them checking it over, when they were supposed to do that the first time. And I showed my mechanic friends the bills for the first time and told them how much it was going to cost for them to properly fix it. Which is way over priced. I don’t recommend going there for any car needs!

Overall good experience with the service and quickness of getting everything done. Seemed to know what was happening and able to fix the problem. However we won’t be back- the part prices are about double the parts store in town, per a quick google search. charged $68 to read codes that we had already read and didn’t communicate there was a % up charge for paying with a card or we would have paid cash had that been communicated. If you don’t mind those things then overall I’d say it’s a great place.

Thank you to Dales’s. We waited for AAA to come get us near Plainville, after 7 hours of waiting we figured they were not dispatching anyone. Dale’s was out within 15 minutes. Thank you so much! Also the thank you to the Bremer County police who helped our whole family to the tire company safely.

We had car trouble and the police called Dale’s Service for an emergency tow for us. The driver, Rob, arrived quickly and was VERY helpful as we decided what to do, since it was a Sunday and pretty much everything was closed. Thank you for the excellent service!

I was on a weekend trip to see family when the brake fluid went out on my Jeep Wrangler. Not knowing what to do I contacted a local car dealership who referred me to Dale’s Service. I called and spoke to Troy Dale on a Friday morning. Troy said to bring my Jeep in and he would work it into his day. Troy not only worked with me but also my husband, who was back home, in regard to the issues. By the end of the day I had new brake fluid lines, new brake pads and a scan done to know why the check engine light was on. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to safely make my way home on Sunday with no issues. Thank you Troy and staff for an amazing experience with your service.

If anyone ever has a need for car help for your student at Wartburg College I highly recommend Dale's Service. The very first weekend after move in my son had trouble with his car. A local friend helped him get the car to Dale's parking lot and I called (Troy is who I talked to) at 7am that Monday morning and they had a new alternator installed and the car ready to go by noon. Since that time in September Troy has reached out via text twice to ask how the car is running - what great service! FYI, I got AAA roadside assistance when my son started college and twice it was totally useless...we now keep Dale's 24hr emergency number in our contacts.

I locked my keys in my car, called dealership and they would have to order it and it was a lot of money, called Oreillys and they told me to try Dale’s, I called Dale’s and I swear, not even 10 minutes later a guy was here working on my car! I was getting so worried before I called Dale’s so I was so happy when he was here and opened it! It was a reasonable price, especially for the time he got here! Thank you so much!!

Troy and his team did a great job diagnosing the issues with my vehicle and getting it repaired in a timely manner. Communication was spot on as well. I appreciate their focus on customer service.

I got an estimate, expensive repair, but would have been a third to twice as expensive nowhere else, I’m confident that they will do a great job! Update wrong part ordered, not really their fault, almost ready to take a star or two off, because for some reason the owner thought I lived in a care center! In reality I’m married and getting ready to go turkey hunting in April, so what if I’m physically disabled, they also need a ramp in front!

Make sure you ask for estimate on the work you want done. Had brakes done price on receipt for labor is correct for the brake work. Didn’t get estimate on having both low beam bulbs replaced, $210.00 labor and I furnished the bulbs. Guess I should’ve done in the cold 24° … otherwise good job on the work done

My college student's car (2005) would not start. Jump started car, tested battery, and realized voltage was showing alternator as possible issue. Drove car to Dale's. Without appointment Dale's service was able to confirm alternator was issue and changed alternator in same day at a reasonable price. Would not hesitate to use Dale's again. Outstanding service on short notice! Thanks Troy and team.

If you want to shop that's going to guilt trip you into buying every part possible and then charge you twice as much this is your place. Not only do they have horrible customer service but they somehow make you feel bad for coming in for help. I ended up going to rolling for it for help because instead of $2,000 it was only $1100. I've been in here twice over the last few years to ask the guy about my vehicle and he literally treats you like you're wasting his time. But once he heard I was willing to spend money to fix everything his attitude shaped up real quick telling me that the only time you're worth my time is if you're spending money. Thank you but no thank you.

Fast, friendly service is no joke! They've saved me twice - once when my car's electrical system went haywire and the car started in my garage with the car doors locked. They were able to get there quick to get it unlocked. Second I was on the side of the road with a dead battery, they were there in short order, got me started and I was able to get right in for a new battery. Best service in Waverly!

In this emergency roadside situation,they got me & vehicle off road fast as we were in a major intersection, Dale's staff had my vehicle inspected & repaired quick. It was a great value for towing,labor,parts,and the turnaround time this was done in! Thanks

Last year my car had a bad alternator that needed replaced. They came and towed my car and installed a different one. Then this year my car was acting up by not wanting to start and they went through it and we discussed what was going on. I have been extremely happy with their service and customer service. I would highly recommend Dale's.

Had a muffler installed on my F-150 and they were done in 1 hour. I have used Dale’s service before and very happy with their service as well. I would definitely recommend their service.

They charged me 96 dollars for an oil change with providing my own filter. The reason I was given was that my fiat used expensive oil that was around 70 bucks. I have had oil changes from several places and it's never been charged anywhere close to that much. Not sure if the oil they used was made out of panda or what. Aside from the price I have no complaints.

Went in for a simple oil change and they completed that in no time at all, ran the diagnostics on the car, figured out why my "check engine" light was on and fixed that as well. Half the time it would have taken at Walmart and for the same price. The guys know what they are doing. Great place.

I've come into Dale's twice with small but nonetheless problem issues with my wife's minivan. The men handled those issues in a speedy and professional manner so much so that I'm giving a review which I hardly do. I highly recommend Dale's and don't be put off by direct and firm awnsers from the staff. These people are busy fixing vehicle issues and do a great job doing so.
