I was having problems withy headlights were getting really dim while I was driving it and when heater was on it would pull the battery weak . I thought it was alternator but they checked it for me and told me the battery was to weak and saved me some $ really. They are great.

Used my commercial account and was VERY unimpressed with the customer service. Scott was borderline rude and uninterested in actually helping. Do better Columbia city Illinois rd and Clinton street never had that problem there

My break pads on my van fell out in the parking lot of the Columbia city auto zone Tyler Lowe and Steven Kneller was working and they went ABOVE and beyond their jobs to help me get my breaks fix in the parking lot!!!! These 2 deserve a raise!!! They really are amazing!!!!

Jacob and Jerry are the best men to walk this earth !! They helped fix our headlight late at night with no problem after O’Rileys just watched us struggle lol. Thank you!!

Jacob Y was extremely friendly, and helpful as soon as I came in the door. He made me feel respected and even told me about some deals in the store. Overall my best experience in any customer service situation!

Jerry is deeply patient and very helpful. He goes the extra mile to make sure you leave with what you need.

I was having trouble getting a warrantied part replacement from a shop I used in Columbia City and now I am in Wisconsin. However, I spoke with Patty and she helped me get it worked out! She was very helpful and I really appreciate here time and attention to the details! Wish I had someone like her around where I live in Wisconsin! Amazing Customer Service! Sounds like others have found her to be extremely helpful as well!

Very poor customerservice matter a fact the referred me to orileys auto parts where they treatedme very well there. Thanks for the referral auto zone.

Went in for some car cleaning supplies and was treated like an inconvenience and burden. Eyes rolling and rude wouldn’t answer simple questions and give out any information on how to contact her manager. FYI don’t go in there if Angel is working.

4/26/25 3pm. (Customer service contacted me via email. I returned the email with no response and called the number that went to voicemail with no response.) Shocker that the store employees are also problematic. I've had many screwups from Autozone, but this was the worst one yet. I'm having custom work being done by a shop in Columbia City. I ordered a fuel pump and asked the lady if a receipt was needed if this is the wrong part because the shop working on my jeep might be the ones returning it. She said, "No, we can use the phone number. Well, they sold me the wrong part, no biggie. I was nearby and figured I'd return it and order the correct pump. The guy asked for my receipt. I apologized and said no I don't have it. He literally huffed out loud and just stood there shaking his head. I asked nicely, "can you use my phone number?" He said, "That's why we give receipts," and then just stood there. I said we'll use my phone number. He said, "That's why we give receipts!" I said, "why are you playing games with me, I just want to return this and get the correct one. He tossed me a receipt and said, "Your money will be refunded on your card and stated walking off. I asked, "are you going to order the one I need?" He walks back over and proceeds to click on the same part I'm returning... I said, "That's not a fuel pump, its a sending unit, and it's the same one I'm returning. He said, "That's what it's saying a fuel pump is." I said, "Scroll down, THAT is a fuel pump. I need THAT one right there with the lifetime warranty. He then proceeds to tell me it's not a lifetime warranty and how if I put the wrong fuel in it, you can't return it. I said, Man, I just need a fuelpump with the limited life time warranty. He then says, "We'll what one do you want?? Having had enough of this rude little man I was done with autozone for good. I said, None of them, thanks anyway. When walking out, I asked the lady for his name. She said real loud, "Boss!" Then, I told me bless your little heart. Have a blessed weekend, honey. I have no idea what the hell was the dudes problem. I came in a happy customer with no problems and left pissed off wondering why I gave autozone business to begin with. We all understand they hire anyone with a pulse, but do yourself a favor and shop someplace else.

Went in to get a low beam headlight replaced. Weather was not the greatest, however the gentleman was very helpful and kind. Installed my light and on I went. The staff in here have ALWAYS been helpful with my needs. Great group of people who work here. Thank you for making my stop wonderful!

I visited AutoZone before work recently needing help finding & installing the appropriate windshield wipers for my Subaru. The oil change place couldn't help me, so I was not hopeful heading into AZ on a snowy, icy morning. BUT there was a very kind woman on site when they opened and within 10 minutes, she had the wipers replaced for me. It was windy and FREEZING outside but she happily fixed my car and got me safely back out on the road. And her fingernails were lovely. :)

I came into the store one morning and showed the guy my brake pads . I told him I had a life time warranty,so I left the pads because they had order them. came back that evening and the guy said where's the pads .I explained to him, I gave them to a guy on first shift .he said he didn't know about it and would not look for them. the guy got so mad he left the building. a young man over heard me and found them . Columbia City Auto Zone doesn't want honor a life time warranty. then don't offer it you just lost a customer of forty years. Your company is a joke.

Had a problem with an employee about my order, called the District Manager about my issue. Not only did they get my part in 2 days they took $20.00 off my part!!! Love the guys and gals at Columbia City Auto Zone. Very friendly and respectful! Go there, they are very professional, and knowledgeable about your auto needs!!!

Just came in to get a light bulb in my truck changed. I'm the ONLY customer in the store. The "manager " older lady said she didn't have the staff to do that. I understand now why there was nobody in the store.

I needed a new battery in my husband’s car. I had no idea which one would work. The wonderful lady at the register was so darn helpful and kind. Within minutes I had a new battery installed……even in the freezing cold! Super nice guy did it! I’m sure I saved a bundle! My husband always has the dealership do it. He was out of town, so I did it my way…….and in his big car, too! Ha! This store is fab!!

I have had to many issues with AutoZone over the years and I'm done with the company. I have no issues with employees at AutoZone only how the company operates. I went through 4 water pumps on my dodge ram in 1 year because everything is rebuilt from AutoZone. Bought from NAPA and never had an issue again. This time I have a part ordered for my car and the part inside the box is wrong! How do you put the wrong part in a box and sell it? Can't read or just don't care?

Never acknowledged I was there so I figured out what I needed by myself. Then stood at the checkout while two guys in the back just shot the breeze so I finally just walked out. Be a good place to start an auto parts store.

Had lawn mower battery that went bad purchased the battery through this auto zone thought about the warranty if it was still active was informed it was on the phone so I took it in. From there I was then informed that the battery was not in warranty. I will start taking my business somewhere else.

I live in Warsaw but make my drive here to avoid the Warsaw store. Great customer service! I can't remember his name, but the older gentleman was so delightful & beyond helpful. I'll definitely be returning.

I was helping a friend replace a MAP sensor and alternator and that where she get her parts from. I picked up some duralast wipers for 12 bucks a piece. I tried the rainx and I didn't think they were very good. I know they didn't last long. Very nice and helpful people working there.

I came here with a receipt for another store who could not put my light in because they just didn’t know how to get the lid off. Jerry and Heather came to my rescue and put it in! What a great team they got working here!

I went to Walmart first to get a new battery and they refused me service! So I went to autozone and they took care of everything for me! He took out my battery and stuff leaked on his arm and fingers. He went and washed it off because we had to wait on a manager the battery would not scan so as the manager took care of me he washer his arm off and then he took the new one and put it in for me and that is what makes people come back! THANK YOU COLUMBIA CITY INDIANA AUTOZONE FOR ALL YOU HELP! It cost me 213.99 dollars for my battery! But I've had my car 10 years and this is the first battery I've bought for it!!!

Quite irritated that this Columbia City store does not have current hours posted on the facility. I understand the modified hours "due to covid-19" happening but as I was right next to the store at 8 p.m. I just walked up, no reason to look online while being so close, and checked the window sign for hours. Window still has open until 9 and I stated that to an employee. His response "we're closed" as he shrugs his shoulders and says sorry. Told him it would be helpful to posy new hours on the window and he just replied again that they are closed.

Passing through on a long trip, they went above and beyond to help us with some car trouble! They called several people until they found a great guy who came to their parking lot and worked on it right there! He was such a blessing and wouldn't let us pay him for over an hour of labor!

I'm known by name here. Which for business is very excellent for my truck not so much but I love the fact that every time I enter this store I am helped promptly and nobody has ever been rude no matter how difficult I've been. Alisha is one of the best managers and she always makes everything right if something goes wrong.
