Horrible experience at the Columbia City Indiana location after getting faulted remanufactured parts. One employee was less then helpful to say the least!!! Left store with two "new" calipers that did not match in color/finish and was told the rust and wear on rotors had nothing to do with the rusted calipers. (The pictures attached are just 6wks after placing new calipers, brake pads, and rotors on rear of a 2021 Traverse from O'Reilly)
After leaving very unhappy from the Columbia City location, due to the way the situation was handled, made a trip into Ft Wayne.

Bought 4 batteries last July, put 2 in extra vehicles I drive occasionally. Went to move the one vehicle battery is dead. Put on trickle charger overnight, still dead. Assume battery is no good. Little over a year old figure won't get full replacement but should have some kind of pro rating and get some credit. No! He said 2 months past, how would I like to pay for the new one? I told him if it's only going to last 1 year I will just be buying and paying a cheaper price for it at the Walmart. Nice way to keep business in local owned businesses! No wonder Walmart and Amazon are WINNING! Keep up the good work O'Reilly's. Oh by the way check how much I spend there...... won't be happening again!
I went there at 7:00 at night. It was dark already. I bought a battery and they installed it for me right then and there on the spot for no charge. And, they were super nice and super helpful! Would go back again!
Super helpful! I have been working on my own cars for a while, but there are still things I need to learn. The guys at O'Reilly were able to pull up some detailed instructions for doing the brake job on my Ford Transit, and loaned me the special tool I needed to compress the rear calipers.
Tom the manager was great went above to help figure out my problem and what I should do. Also very clean store. If lived closer would use them all the time.
Keith did an outstanding job finding the issue with my car, recommending fixes, and then going out of his way to fix it for me. Excellent customer service at this location.
Customer service was superior, Keith was very polite and informative helping me to decide on products to use for my car. I also like the fact that they can plug in and get a reading for a check engine light and help analyze the problem. I will be visiting again and also let my friends know orieley s is the place to go and ask for Keith !
Great customer service!!! They helped me diagnose the various issues with my car, which all came down to a bad battery. I was then shown all of the options available to me and felt no pressure when selecting the battery that I could afford. I was so grateful for the advice and assistance on an otherwise stressful day.
I needed a tail light for my car and they got me in and out in no time. This particular O'Reilly has been a source of lots of stuff to repair my automobiles over the years. They do have discounts for fire service, police service, and military service members. The folks here will treat you well and they genuinely want you to succeed in your repairs.
I stopped in for a battery today. Justin helped me pick one and THEN stood outside freezing to change it! I can’t say thank you enough! You fixed the biggest problem of my day.
It's your average auto parts store. Would be better if they were staffed by employees who didn't roll their eyes and shake their head when you ask questions (Lawrence, I am looking at you). However, the prices on parts are reasonable, so I will give them that.
Nice group of people who can figure out what exactly you NEED just wish the computer system wasn't so stupid.... no it doesn't matter if my vehicle is 4x4 and what engine or an extended cab for wiper blades!!!!!
Better than autozone. Tattooed dude managed to help me with an issue I've been struggling with for quite sometime. He had actual knowledge rather that what a computer is wanting to sell. Even came outside an helped work on my vehicle.
I was stranded an hour from my home at a shopping plaza when my starter went out. I called both auto parts places in town and asked if anyone from the store would be willing to bring me a new starter and some tools to replace it. The guys from O reilly's came to the rescue!!! They brought me tools and the new part and with a smile. The other store laughed and said no. Thanks again for going above and beyond.
Outside of the lone south side of CC parts store this is the best place to get parts that work and don't cost a lung.
Variety is good, staff is good too.
Not gonna lie have had better customer service with O'Reilly's than autozone so i think ill come here more often! They treat me like a customers and a human being and not judge me because i am young!
this is the ONLY place I get my parts and help. They all have treated me really good. I have even been on a job and no way to get parts and they brought them to me and didnt even charge. I have barrowed tools for some jobs as well with no problem. If you need help and parts this is a ideal choice. ❤?
Usually a very good place. Lately not so much. This lady was not helpful at all and would not ask anyone else to help her. So when we finally got what we needed she proceeds to talk with another coworker about gum while we are at the counter and said well let me go in the back and get you a piece and took off with no one to check us out. We liked Lynn there!
O'reilly saved my trip. I got rear ended by a semi, and I got lucky enough to drive the truck and trailer away. Bought what I need here, the staff was helpful, and they had the loaner tools I needed. Thanks guys!
