Excellent service I received on Feb. 18, 2026 at 4:45. Lady at the front register to the young man who put my wipers on. Very professional both of them.
I have had great customer service in the past....however...the last several times I have visited the store, the attendants seem disinterested in helping or providing froendly customer service. Today I went in to pick up a quick online parts order. I walked in the door. There was one gentleman behind the counter. He looked at me and I spoke first by saying "hello". I stood at the end of the counter where the online orders are located. He never spoke and turned to go to the back room. I waited there for a couple minutes. Someone else entered the store so the doorbell went off. The man and another female worker walked back out to the counter. Again, no greeting, ni how may I help you, nothing. The man returned to the register he had been at before and engaged the female in a conversation about taking bags to the bank. After this, the female walked down to where the online orders were, again, did not acknowledge me, then walked away. She then, finally turned back and asked if she could help me. I honestly felt like the invisible man until that point. Very cold and unfriendly. When I go to the Kendallville NAPA or Advanced Auto Parts I at least get greeted and receive help in finding what I need. I hope things change at Orielly's soon.
Every time I come to this store it is something different but I keep coming back for more punishment until today. Have been given the wrong part entirely for a vehicle and had to come back then treated like it was still correct even with the correct part in front of them. Have picked up an item on sale to be told the item was no longer on sale even if the tag said so. Today was last time I use this store. Entered store and ask for an oil filter and seen a poster on the door for oil change with rebate. Told the worker might as well get that deal while I am here. Also asked if it was the deal on the door. Pointed at the front of the ad flyer on the counter and said how do I redeem this? Is this the same oil and the guy said yes this is the same it will work. Guess what came home to do rebate and it isn’t the same.
They don't answer there phones. I tried calling to see if they had a part before driving 15 miles. I drove in and went inside the phones were ringing. The man behind the counter said he was going to pickup and hang up.
I've fixed my vehicle using their parts a lot, and I appreciate the vehicle diagnostics they do. I also love the fact that they change your battery for you when you buy a new one.
Ordered at a braks a couple days ago, The ones I picked up actually were not the correct ones took them back to the store today not only did I get a new set that were in stock, they were actually cheaper! Same type of brakes you just cheaper! In and out in 5 minutes with a very happy smile!
I like the store over Advanced Auto Parts which is across the street. The prices seem to be better here, but I also am finding better quality tools and parts from the store.
The employees here are So helpful, and don't pressure you to buy anything. They do free battery checks, and give you honest and accurate opinions. If you don't need a battery, they tell you, and I appreciate that. I highly recommend this business.
Horrible experiance, will never go back.
One service agent couldn't test a charger. I waited for 15 minutes for another and they went and hid in the back. Than a sick girl came out and said they could not use an ohm meter. No customer service. Went across the street to Auto Zone and they tested it and had me out the door in 5 minutes.

Went to buy some headlights price said 31.99 went to ring out and then it came out to be 57.99 was told it was in wrong place and Danny would not price match or even acknowledge the fact that it was in the wrong place really rude person. Would not recommend speaking with Danny.
Not a good place to go if you need help with anything on your car and it's raining. Pulled in to get new wipers put on and they said they won't do it in the rain but they would sell me the wipers. So not good service at all.
I came in today needing my car battery tested. Daren helped me and offered to test the starter and alternator too. It was quick, and I ended up needing a new battery. He said they replace them for free if you buy one there, so he sold me one and replaced it for me. He was quick, friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and explained the warranty on the battery to me. He was very professional and I appreciate how easy the whole thing was!
I needed a new car battery on Sunday morning. They were very helpful and installed it in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend them to everyone.
Very helpful. We had a light out they tried to help me change it but a wire was melted so bought parts and will wait until the morning to fix it. By the way I got pulled over for headlight out showed the officer I had just bought the parts he was nice and gave me a warning.
Belt brook @ tentions pulley froze broke down & ran out of money from Christmas shopping all Day and now stranded
So I walk into O'Reilly's @ my card for some some reason was declined so the man behind the counter working paid for the pulley wow thank you very much after we got the 2 part's on the truck after about 30 mins and we were back on the road again headed home
They always have my parts on hand they are very friendly and professional. They always seem to want to help me anyway they can. The employees will go out of there way to help with questions that I have and to find the parts if they don't have them on hand even though most of the time they do.
The 2 employees that were there last night were EXTREMELY Helpful and friendly!! ? I appreciated EVERYTHING!

Thought I would make a quick stop during my lunch break to pick up some oil. Took over five minutes to check out. Not very good customer service today.
We go here before touching the competitors. These peoples are friendly and go above and beyond what they should have to do, to take care of their customers. It's like they understand we're frantic and stressed, they they just want to help us get our car working again. Today they couldn't help me due to parts not being available from their vendor, and someone there did research for me and was able to point me in the right direction. This is why they get all our business!
