Went to this location because I was recommended to come here, I needed to get get my stud fixed and not even 5 minutes in there the owner was extremely rude to me and made feel so uncomfortable, and told me I was late but when I called they said they didn’t do appointments so I was very confused why he had an attitude. Both men here are rude and very unprofessional, go at your own risk.
They provided top-notch service with friendly and knowledgeable owners. They’re honest, efficient, and truly care about their customers. Highly recommend!

They repaired all of my cars. A little slow but they get the job done. Only one time my car was not fixed correctly. I needed ball joints and for some reason the car was still trash.
I was very upset because that car was too dangerous to drive. The worst part is it cost me over $750.00 to fix it. So I have to give them two stars.
Of course I called and complained. They fixed both joints but only one was bad. Then as I said the joints were still bad. Couldn't get a wheel alignment because it was still messed up.

I brought 2batterys not one worked I ended up going to Rally’s to get thybattery that worked. Also I took the same van to them to have both side mirrors replaced two weeks no mirror then when I went back they had removed the ones that was on there the van just setting there I ask for my mirrors they couldn’t find them. Mine was cracked from a hit n run I could still see I just wanted them fixed ended up ordering them fromROCK AUTO got them in two days and my son in law put them on for me. Chris T. god bless him

Call in about my Lucerne looking for alternator. Ask me to bring it to match up. Brought it in(wed). Didn't have it in stock. But said they can have one tomorrow. Took my number down and said would call. I called Thursday gave better number since ATT phones were down. They told me cool would call back in a few. Welp. FF it'd Friday 11am now. I call they even recognize my voice and knew what I was calling for.
Was told they'll call back in a few minutes. Never did.

My truck went out on me before Veterans Day weekend. I was literally down to my last few hundred dollars and had to make a decision fast. I bought the part and was left hanging in the wind twice by two mobile mechanics. So I took this as a sign to do it right and go to professionals. I called Harts and was at first kinda of intimidated by the women who answered I thought she was very rude by just telling me to bring it in at 8am Monday. No matter what my question or concerns she just repeated it like a mantra. Boy did I confuse confidence with rudeness. They were patient with me finding a tow to them. Labor was reasonably priced and my truck was up and running in just short of a couple of hours. I think I found a go to auto shop if I ever have an issue again. I highly recommend this auto repair shop.
The alternator they sold me was NO GOOD, took out other parts on my car and now my car is worse than it was before I used their parts. They won't do a cash refund so once you spend your money (because they only take cash) your stuck with their horrible selection. Would NEVER recommend!!

I have a 2008 Ford Focus. I needed my steering column fixed. Also I lost my keys to the car. I'll call harts and tell them everything about the car. They kept getting filled up so I decided to use their tow truck to make sure I get there for $95 this truck dragged my car down the street crazy and broke my hub on the passenger side and they wouldn't replace it or claim the damage. And they sold me a used battery for $65 that did not work. Took it back and couldn't get the battery out because they had it in too-tight down and then didn't want to come out and help me get it off I had to start screaming and yelling to get something done It doesn't make any sense. I would never never never used their service or recommended to anyone stay away from them!!! They deserve zero Stars. Took my car to safe Haven Dave is a good guy. He fixed it I recommend him.
It sucked. No regards for my time or life. I was told incorrect information that made me go there in the first place. They said they had something that I needed but didn't. I was there for a good 45mins. As I questioned management, they tried to make me feel like it was my fault. There was never an apology, but my experience became a mockery. The owner started talking about me with his employees like I wasn't educated enough to notice. There was no true resolution. My car would have to falling apart before I waste my time in that place. And even then I won'tgo back!
I've done business here before however, I brought my car in on a Friday. They said it would be ready on Saturday. I called Saturday morning no answer. 12 noon went to the shop no one was there. Monday morning I went to get my car, it had a dent in the back of my car door and they still didn't fix my car. They reviewed the camera and their driver was found negligent. Here's the problem the employee was very nasty, unprofessional. My back door on my SUV was able to open and close before I dropped off my car. They accused me of lying when they repaired the dent. I will never bring my car back here. If they wronged you please share so someone else doesn't fall victim to this business.
The people at Hart's were professional and friendly however the part I bought was a used alternator for a buick enclave. Cost me $100 bucks but a new one was $50 more. I honestly didn't have it at the time so I went with it. I should have waited until payday and bought a new one. Warranties only for 30 days and it clunked out a month and two weeks after. I think they offer a smaller extended warranty but I didn't get it. (Uncertain with that detail)

The alternator almost blew up my brand new battery. Thinking a new battery would help the horsepower. Anywho, I wouldn't say whether I'd recommend them or not bc they have so many other services that could actually be useful. Fingers crossed on anything used and that goes for any place! They went out if there way to assist me. Even after i purxhased the wrong battery... They happily exchanged it. They just dont make men like the ones at hearts anymore. True men with dignity and respect for others but also take pride in there job
I ABSOLUTELY love this place!!! They put good used batteries in my vehicles, one going on 3 years now...think I paid like $40. Two months ago they installed a used engine in my ex husband's car and it's running like a pro! and it was reasonable. THERE IS PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP HERE!
Absolutely amazing and professional service. The new manager is the nicest and professional manger at a car repair shop I've ever dealt with. I know, right?!?! Absolutely, the best and cheapest around. They took care of my Jeep and only completed what I asked them to do nothing more nothing less, and no overcharges. The best part was they gave me a list with prices upfront and no they did not fix 30 other things on my truck and gave me an outrageous bill. I paid what he told me I would have to pay on day 1. I'm from out of town and I would drive hundreds of miles just to get to Hart's Auto Center.
We’ve had an absolutely terrible experience with Harts. First, they took two days to even pick up my husband’s truck and they still charged us $75 for the tow even though they were doing the work. Okay whatever. They took over two weeks to do the transmission costing us $200+ in UBER rides to get to work. They claimed that they ordered the wrong transmission but they’d already taken the old one out and they were just waiting on the new part. Every time we’d call to check on progress we got a different excuse. Finally on Thursday of the second week they say “the part is in”. On Friday we get a call that the truck is ready and if we don’t get it by Monday they’ll charge us $20 a day. The nerve. So my husband picks up the truck today (Monday) and we’re told that the wrong transmission was sent again so they rebuilt the transmission that was already there. Huh? But the new one just came in on Thursday and you called Friday to say it was ready so you rebuilt a transmission that fast? They’re liars. I truly believe rebuilding it was their plan from the get go. Oh, they also charged us over $1400 for something we were told would cost $1200. Absolutely terrible place to get any work done on your vehicle. The 5 star reviews are lies.
Today I went here for the first time and it was very busy but the workers were very professional polite and they had the part I was looking forward after struggling to find it for so long I appreciate them looking out for me on the price because of the wait. I will definitely be coming here again.

They are on of the realest and affordable place in Indy. J.D and the crew are awesome, I have been taking my car's there for 5 yrs and I have always left pleased with the service and the atmosphere of friendly customer service and employees and the customers themselves are just as nice and funny and if you don't trust me just stop buy are call they will never let you down.
I took a friend of mine here to see about getting her engine mounts replaced, and 10 minutes after leaving the place there was a loud noise and lots of pulsations throughout the car. After returning it to this place for the second time, it was discovered that the engine was not mounted correctly resulting in damage to the underside of the engine. Each time she was charged before I told her to go elsewhere. The people here are unprofessional and lack commitment. If you value your vehicle and are looking for professional grade mechanics, do not go here.
The owner build relationships with his return clients and they are always pleased. He will do what he can to help you. For more than 20yrs. I have watched him. Help my Pastor. He goes above and beyond. I just want to say. Thank You.
Had some work done to my car a few months back. JD and the crew had done work to my car that other places told me would take 6 to 7 hrs in only about 2. It's miraculous how busy they are but still quick and efficient. Staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable for a full time college student. I will always be a customer here.
